While a part of me does wonder if Vivzie would include other mythologies inter her Hazbin and Helluva Boss world building, I keep reminding myself that it is her world, not my head space. Though it would be interesting to see if the characters of Helluva boss try to assasinate what seems to be a lowly human, only to discover to their horror that said human was a mythological god that took up a human form as a kind of retirement and outclasses them.
it is inherently hard to imagine heaven as a perfect place is simply beyond human comprehension, it is much easier to imagine Hell, as imperfection is much easier. That is why we have so many stories that takes place in so many different and colourful forms of hell but very few that attempt to show what Heaven can be like
Could Sera be short for Seraphiel, the protector of Metatron? In different lore and books they were described as one of the 8 Judges, be beautiful like lightning and the morning star, chief of the Seraphim, and the one that taught other Gods to sing songs praising of God
They are likely related, their appearance is quite similar to one another. Though it looks like they are of differing ranks of Angel. Notably different due to their Halo designs, Emily's lacks a secondary upper halo like Sera's. Also the primary Halo on Sera's has a prominent V shape at the front while Emily's is wholey (Pun absolutely intended) Circular. Given the Trailer screen cap of Sera, with her firey eyes, her Halo glows almost White or light blue. While Emily's seems to just be Golden. The Exorcist's and Adam's Halo only has a singular point, while Sera's and Emily's both have multiple points like a crown. It's likely the more ornate the Halo, the higher the Angel is in rank. Emily is likely one rank below Sera. Adam's Golden Halo with a singular point likely only just outranks the Exorcist's who have similarly designed Black Halo's. The heavenly contrast to Sinners appear to have the more traditionally known Circular Golden Halo without points. Likely indicating they are not exactly a Rank of Angel, just the Heavenly opposite of Sinners in general. Amusingly it was even stated by Adam in his song "Are they Winners, are they Sinners" implying the black & white perspective he holds. Souls can either be Sinners or Winners.There is no changing that once they died to him. Very interesting how it all comes together with the Cards as additional context.
Sera and Emily having halos that look like crowns make me think they are part of heaven royalty and I wonder why halos on winners seem to be different colors
Heaven is probably far smaller considering just how tough it is to get in there. There’s also nothing to say that you can’t get booted out of Heaven, straight to Hell, if you don’t act towards certain standards. We also don’t know what counts as a sin that you can get judged for
How do we know for sure it is tough to get there though. Like almost all the characters we see there seem like they didn't deserve heaven. Plus we know that being gay does not send you to hell

@@chilliicecream5456It's not needed anyway. The overpopulation problem has more to do with Lucifer restricting sinners to the Pride Ring because he narcissistically wants them all to himself. Of course, this is presumably something Lucy could change with a snap of his fingers, but then we wouldn't have a show. Worldbuilding was never Vivziepop's strong suit.

"Seraphim Sisters" is a fanfiction on A03 that goes into the backstories of Sera and Emily. It will continue as the show goes on. I can't wait to see these characters!
I think the "winners" card only shows the sinners' counterparts, so all those angels are probably dead humans who have been welcomed into heaven. On Sera, I think she had to take Lucifer's place after he fell, and she's very resentful of him.
Yeah her design definitely gives off that innocent and nice vibe while her sister is more of the sinister type. She might still be an antagonist (but of the kind that does what she does because she doesn't know any better) to some degree but more likely to see the truth of things then her sister who likely is more set in her ways. Hard to say where the show will take these characters but I'll put my money on the Emily being more understanding in the end. I can't see Sara changing her mind on things anytime soon. :P

I don't think Hells courts ever sided with Mammon over Lucifer. I am pretty sure the case was still on going hence why Mammons Fiz robots were complaining about it and trying to convince the general public that it was not a copyright violation.
I never would have thought Sera was forcing a smile if you hadn't mentioned it. I had to stop what i was doing, turn my phone over and take a closer, more thorough look to see it. I thought she was going to be a big bad who enjoyed destroying bits of hell for fun. But you got me seeing the creases at the corner of her eyes and now she definitely looks like she's forcing a smile to me.
Since all angels are siblings and considering what Emily looked like at the moment, she is most likely Charlie's cousin, right? Also, it is very obvious that she most likely have been taught to hate the denizens in Hell. But if she encountered Charlie, her belief will be challenged and may eventually shattered. Am I right? P.S: How can concepts of Hells from other cultures such as Diyu and Naraka be intergrated into Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss? Speaking of which, what will Youdu, the capital of Hell according to the Chinese religions, looked like? I know that it is supposed to look like the Ancient Chinese capital city such as Chang'an. But since Hell has modernized, will Youdu looked like cities in today's China too?
I’m not sure about Emily being related to Charlie in any way(although I’m not saying it’s impossible), I do like the idea of these two meeting and Emily entire perspective of Hell being turned on its head. She might even decide work from Heaven to help Charlie’s plan come to fruition.

Also, what do you think the propagandas against Hell from Heaven will looked like? I think it is most likely possible that the angels portrayed Hell as something similar to the Sith Empire while also portraying itself as the Galactic Republic during the Great Galactic War. By the way, do you think the Winners are capable of committing crimes themselves? And if so, what punishments awaited them if the authorities from Heaven caught them? Personally, I think their punishments are most likely executions when it comes to something like murders and stealing properties that belonged to the elites of Heaven's society.

But if Heaven practiced the policies such as constant monitoring, curfew and violating privacy a lot in order to maintain safety and security for its own society, it is also another form of imprisonment. And the only reason nobody will noticed it is because of the anti-Hell propaganda machines that keep spilling exaggerated details about Hell and the fear of invasion that may or may not happen in the future. Plus, Heaven too has a heirachy of its own society, which means equality isn't really a thing either.
I love these videos. They break down and incorporate so much of the Abrahamic religions so well. I wouldn't worry too much about how biblically accurate Hazbin Hotel is going to be. Viv's just taking from Abrahamic religions to tell her own thing, and that's okay. If you're interested seraph aren't always seen as angels since they are not the massagers of God's will. But his heralds and are said to have red wings!
I think there was no angel high ranking enough to kill Lucifer due to him being a Seraphim as well just like Sera and in many myths Lucifer is gods first angel. Hence why the other Seraphim had to banish him instead of killing him since they could not do that. I would also like to add that when Viv said that the princes might originate from hell it is very likely that she was referring to the princes of the Ars Goetia as neither Viv nor any character in the show has ever referred to the sins as princes. They were always referred to as the king of their respective sin. Asmodeus the king of lust, Mammon the king of greed and Bee being the queen of gluttony.
Now that it's confirmed that Lucifer is a seraph, does that mean his fire magic (also seen in the trailer) is part of his purported angelic magical arsenal? Seeing that seraphs are beings of fire and all, that would make it holy fire...which his daughter appears to wield as well. We've seen the felfire that actually harms denizens of hell, which is green instead of what Charlie and Lucifer were seen with. Ooh, the possibilities!

I currently think the winners is the general term used to describe the humans that died and went to heaven. I am willing to bet that it was the humans thought of it though. Overall I do look forward to seeing heaven in hazbin. There is so many aspects of what we call good that we can explore with that. For example when Vaggie's zoo phobia statement of worse people than them getting into heaven can actually be played out in a few ways. One being she is kinda right in that these worse people got in because they gamed the system, with or without corruption would be fine. Another good one would be Vaggie holding this belief and hating the human angle she thinks doesn't deserve heaven, but realizes that they put in serious effort to change their life before they passed and was surprised they even made it to heaven.
As a religious Jew who studied different translations of the Bible, I was always fascinated by the fact that the different translators kept the Hebrew names of the various entities instead of translating them into Latin or Greek (entities such as: Seraphim, Ophanim, and Nephilim). In addition, the name of the angels is also in Hebrew and carries with it meanings such as: Gabriel = God's valor, Raphael = God's medicine, Uriel = God's light. (I would love it if you made a video about them as well). bonus fact: the meaning of the name of "Hillel ben Shahar" is praise/glorification son of morning). even demons like Leviathan, Beelzebub and Mammon (originating in Christianity) having a Hebrew/Aramaic name. I certainly hope that Hebrew-Jewish tradition will be integrated into the series. shalom.

I really liked the theory you mentioned that God might not be around anymore and everything is run by angels instead, I had a very similar idea myself! I can imagine that the twist of the series will be akin to that in the Wizard of Oz, where the big man is merely smoke and mirrors and the real God is just a dried up corpse in a casket.
This series and these theory videos have done so much to inspire me and raise my interest in religion and religious story telling! I was raised without a specific religion in mind so naturally I identify as agnostic, and never had any interest in religion until I got into Vivziepop’s work and started watching Cartoons Universe’s breakdowns. Theses videos are incredibly inspiring and even inspired me to design an Angel of my own recently, which was incredibly fun and I may end up creating more and maybe even an in universe version of hell for my personal projects! Thank you Cartoon Universe, Deepcut, and Vivziepop for expanding my views and allowing me to learn more about something so underrated and fascinating ^w^
I have a personal theory that the angels that are heavenborn including lucifer in this show do in fact have true forms like they're biblically accurate depictions of they're individual species of angels and they chose forms of animals and humans to blend in and not scare humans. It makes sense and if true could mean that wheel in the background of the cherub episode is in fact an ophaniem that was outside its disguise.
With Emily potentially being a good Angel rather than antagonistic, I’m glad they’re going with this route rather than hell=bad and heaven=good. Rather they’re both just neutral places both filled with good and bad people. I wonder if we’re going to see the archangels i.e Michael, Raphael etc.. and I wonder if Lucifer was an archangel alongside being a Seraph and that makes him superior in ability to those like Sera etc… I personally don't think Sera is more powerful than Lucifer, I feel like that's too soon for season 1 and they’re saving someone who may outrank Lucifer later on such as Michael or God. I’m excited to see Charlie explore her angelic side as well and potential angelic abilities. For example I wonder if she has her wings like her dad? 🤔

I find a lot of this funny. I legitimately studied the Zohar and Kabbalah in general under a professional biblical scholar, and also studied a lot about hierarchies of angels. These were a couple of different conceptions of power. One had seraphs at the top, and angels at the bottom, followed by archangels, powers, principalities, thrones, cherubim and then seraphim. But there was another that was like that but with two different kinds of archangel. There were seven key archangels, some known from the Bible. Michael and Gabriel were the most famous, Raphael too. Cassiel or Kafziel depending on available phonemes. Zadkiel or Sachiel for the same reason. Aniel and Uriel. But one of those was a replacement because Sammael fell out of the order. It's funny to see Cherubim, once second in order, reduced to a lowly position below common angels. But they are very cute. Keenie has a bad attitude but she's cute. Deerie is an insincere HR manager from Fargo, but she's cute. Also, I always feel like mentioning this. In some obscure Jewish traditions, Adam has three wives. Lilith refuses to be in missionary position and, knowing the secret name of god, she can fly away from Eden. Adam is awake to watch god build his second wife, and seeing all her flood veins and organs formed from dust disgusts him so he refuses her, not even giving her a name. That's why god puts Adam to sleep when he makes Eve.
Assuming that Emily doesn't have any ill intent towards the Hotel Crew, it would be interesting to see her possibly befriend them and becoming their ally in Heaven who supports Charlie's cause.
i love the more in depth lore of both the angels and demons is getting and im really hoping to learn how she plans the family drama of lucifer's side of the family , and to what led up to him rebelling with some of his sibilings if any of the demons whom were considered fallen angels and to war against the others in heaven. Got a vibe that he rebelled bc he wanted to prove that he could rule a better kingdom than in heaven. and im guessing after he and Lilith had Charlie , Charlie like her father wanted to prove that anyone who once was sinner in life and into hell can still become a better person in the end...Im guessing the sins of the father are passed down to the sins of theyre child.... idk if i worded that right heh👊😌

i dont think that Sera outranks Lucifer or is Stronger than him at all i belive there is either a stronger Angel in heaven that cast him out or that God himself did it Maybe Lucifer couldnt get beaten by a singke Angel and it needed multiple Seraphs to stop him i personally would love to see Arch Angel Micheal in the show even though that probably wont be the case
Supposedly, in some texts, the True Archangels, including Michael and Lucifer, also hold the rank of seraphim. I've heard more about a final showdown between the brothers than any other, so it stands that it is most likely only Michael capable of smiting his brother...but not without a good fight!
Man video on God and the Arcangels and their relation to lucifer would be cool. I personally imagine Michael to so calm and stoic that it always annoys lucifer when he can't get a reaction from him
The name Emily, being the feminine form of Emil, means rival. She may be a rival to one of the main cast. I'm thinking either Charlie or possibly Vaggie. Also one of the winners in the background of the card has a red halo which is interesting.

I look forward to see just what the angels are like and what their relationship is with the demons of hell, given that we see one resemble one of the goetia, does this mean that that group are descendants of the angels that fell with Lucifer, or are in fact the original rulers of hell, which Asmodeus' comments to Fizzarolli could imply. Though if winners are indeed the heavenly equivalent to sinners, then it's likely that they simply take shape are meaningful events in their lives.

Fun fact if you read that passage about "Lucifer" in the old testament it Lucifer is exclusively a metaphorical reference to the King of Tyre (AKA Babalon) and their prophesied downfall not a fallen Angel turned Demon (The same line about Lucifer being cast down is followed by Lucifer being burn to ash and being "No More". There is 0 mention of Hell in the 1st testament at all and when Ha Statan (which is a title not a name which translates to the accuser) is mentioned its in reference to an Angel who is part of God's court in the tale of Job so way after Genesis and Noah. Even the New testament actually makes almost actual mention of Hell. Basically the entire concept of Hell Lucifer/Satan is post hoc additions that emerged after Constantine injected a lot of Roman/Greek motifs into Christianity motifs that were eventually expanded upon are largely influenced by Dante's Inferno and Milton's Paradise lost. Basically Hell and Lucifer/Satan as we think of them today conceptually is all just christian fan fiction. Not even kidding.

10:40 I was thinking of the Pixar movie “Soul” in which the “counselors” are kinda like angels/otherworldly beings of guidance to souls that has to take up super minimalist, abstract appearances or else their TRUE form can shatter mental capacities of human souls. I gotta say Charlie is hal demon/angel from lucifer side and half human from Lilith the first female human also being a royalty from God side in heaven so she is powerful when push comes to shove but also natural of brining this millienum conflict between angels and demon to an end to coexist with humans.
i wanna take a guess and say that Emily is Sera's daughter, but being a sort of counterpart to Charlie, on the outside she's happy-go-lucky disney princess and on the inside she listen to death metal and likes horror movies
What if the 7 deadly sins were the perverted version of the 7 virtues represented as angels who accompanied Lucifer in his fall? I imagine the original representation of Lust is love as shown in helluva boss with the relationship between Mammon & Fizz. Lucifer and the other angel's original goal was probably to bear gifts for humanity, with it including the gift of free will, but since humans are gray & are especially susceptible to corruption, overindulgence in these gifts consumed them, perverting the 7 virtues & becoming the 7 deadly sins that they are now in the story.
Its most likely Emily is a daughter of Sera, but I wouldn't be opposed to her being an ascended daughter of Adam and Eve. I also very selfishly hope Emily is a precious sugar pie supports Charlie and Hazbin Hotel to the possible point of being turned into a fallen angel by someone like Adam or Lyra which puts a crack in the psyche of her family and friends because a status quo that punishes someone like Emily for believing in the potential of goodness in others is rotted to the core. Would suck for Emily though.

It's possible, just as your sins reflect how you look in hell, your virtues reflect how you look in heaven. So the more virtuous you are, the more angelic and less human you appear

It would be really funny if Emily turned out to be incredibly evil. Like, kick small dogs for no reason when not in sight of God or whatever. Also, I'm pretty sure God has a avatar of sorts, which probably just talks to Sera and the other seraphs. Otherwise, he probably just sits back and watches movies all day

It's likely the more ornate the Halo, the higher the Angel is in rank.
Emily is likely one rank below Sera.
Adam's Golden Halo with a singular point likely only just outranks the Exorcist's who have similarly designed Black Halo's.
The heavenly contrast to Sinners appear to have the more traditionally known Circular Golden Halo without points. Likely indicating they are not exactly a Rank of Angel, just the Heavenly opposite of Sinners in general.
Amusingly it was even stated by Adam in his song "Are they Winners, are they Sinners" implying the black & white perspective he holds.

Heaven is probably far smaller considering just how tough it is to get in there. There’s also nothing to say that you can’t get booted out of Heaven, straight to Hell, if you don’t act towards certain standards.

I think the "winners" card only shows the sinners' counterparts, so all those angels are probably dead humans who have been welcomed into heaven. On Sera, I think she had to take Lucifer's place after he fell, and she's very resentful of him.

She might still be an antagonist (but of the kind that does what she does because she doesn't know any better) to some degree but more likely to see the truth of things then her sister who likely is more set in her ways. Hard to say where the show will take these characters but I'll put my money on the Emily being more understanding in the end. I can't see Sara changing her mind on things anytime soon. :P

I don't think Hells courts ever sided with Mammon over Lucifer. I am pretty sure the case was still on going hence why Mammons Fiz robots were complaining about it and trying to convince the general public that it was not a copyright violation.
I never would have thought Sera was forcing a smile if you hadn't mentioned it. I had to stop what i was doing, turn my phone over and take a closer, more thorough look to see it. I thought she was going to be a big bad who enjoyed destroying bits of hell for fun. But you got me seeing the creases at the corner of her eyes and now she definitely looks like she's forcing a smile to me.
Since all angels are siblings and considering what Emily looked like at the moment, she is most likely Charlie's cousin, right? Also, it is very obvious that she most likely have been taught to hate the denizens in Hell. But if she encountered Charlie, her belief will be challenged and may eventually shattered. Am I right?
P.S: How can concepts of Hells from other cultures such as Diyu and Naraka be intergrated into Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss? Speaking of which, what will Youdu, the capital of Hell according to the Chinese religions, looked like? I know that it is supposed to look like the Ancient Chinese capital city such as Chang'an. But since Hell has modernized, will Youdu looked like cities in today's China too?
I’m not sure about Emily being related to Charlie in any way(although I’m not saying it’s impossible), I do like the idea of these two meeting and Emily entire perspective of Hell being turned on its head. She might even decide work from Heaven to help Charlie’s plan come to fruition.

By the way, do you think the Winners are capable of committing crimes themselves? And if so, what punishments awaited them if the authorities from Heaven caught them? Personally, I think their punishments are most likely executions when it comes to something like murders and stealing properties that belonged to the elites of Heaven's society.

But if Heaven practiced the policies such as constant monitoring, curfew and violating privacy a lot in order to maintain safety and security for its own society, it is also another form of imprisonment. And the only reason nobody will noticed it is because of the anti-Hell propaganda machines that keep spilling exaggerated details about Hell and the fear of invasion that may or may not happen in the future. Plus, Heaven too has a heirachy of its own society, which means equality isn't really a thing either.

I love these videos. They break down and incorporate so much of the Abrahamic religions so well. I wouldn't worry too much about how biblically accurate Hazbin Hotel is going to be. Viv's just taking from Abrahamic religions to tell her own thing, and that's okay. If you're interested seraph aren't always seen as angels since they are not the massagers of God's will. But his heralds and are said to have red wings!
I think there was no angel high ranking enough to kill Lucifer due to him being a Seraphim as well just like Sera and in many myths Lucifer is gods first angel. Hence why the other Seraphim had to banish him instead of killing him since they could not do that.
I would also like to add that when Viv said that the princes might originate from hell it is very likely that she was referring to the princes of the Ars Goetia as neither Viv nor any character in the show has ever referred to the sins as princes. They were always referred to as the king of their respective sin. Asmodeus the king of lust, Mammon the king of greed and Bee being the queen of gluttony.
Now that it's confirmed that Lucifer is a seraph, does that mean his fire magic (also seen in the trailer) is part of his purported angelic magical arsenal? Seeing that seraphs are beings of fire and all, that would make it holy fire...which his daughter appears to wield as well. We've seen the felfire that actually harms denizens of hell, which is green instead of what Charlie and Lucifer were seen with. Ooh, the possibilities!

Overall I do look forward to seeing heaven in hazbin. There is so many aspects of what we call good that we can explore with that. For example when Vaggie's zoo phobia statement of worse people than them getting into heaven can actually be played out in a few ways. One being she is kinda right in that these worse people got in because they gamed the system, with or without corruption would be fine. Another good one would be Vaggie holding this belief and hating the human angle she thinks doesn't deserve heaven, but realizes that they put in serious effort to change their life before they passed and was surprised they even made it to heaven.
As a religious Jew who studied different translations of the Bible, I was always fascinated by the fact that the different translators kept the Hebrew names of the various entities instead of translating them into Latin or Greek
(entities such as: Seraphim, Ophanim, and Nephilim). In addition, the name of the angels is also in Hebrew and carries with it meanings such as:
Gabriel = God's valor,
Raphael = God's medicine,
Uriel = God's light.

I really liked the theory you mentioned that God might not be around anymore and everything is run by angels instead, I had a very similar idea myself! I can imagine that the twist of the series will be akin to that in the Wizard of Oz, where the big man is merely smoke and mirrors and the real God is just a dried up corpse in a casket.
This series and these theory videos have done so much to inspire me and raise my interest in religion and religious story telling! I was raised without a specific religion in mind so naturally I identify as agnostic, and never had any interest in religion until I got into Vivziepop’s work and started watching Cartoons Universe’s breakdowns. Theses videos are incredibly inspiring and even inspired me to design an Angel of my own recently, which was incredibly fun and I may end up creating more and maybe even an in universe version of hell for my personal projects! Thank you Cartoon Universe, Deepcut, and Vivziepop for expanding my views and allowing me to learn more about something so underrated and fascinating ^w^

I have a personal theory that the angels that are heavenborn including lucifer in this show do in fact have true forms like they're biblically accurate depictions of they're individual species of angels and they chose forms of animals and humans to blend in and not scare humans. It makes sense and if true could mean that wheel in the background of the cherub episode is in fact an ophaniem that was outside its disguise.
With Emily potentially being a good Angel rather than antagonistic, I’m glad they’re going with this route rather than hell=bad and heaven=good. Rather they’re both just neutral places both filled with good and bad people.
I wonder if we’re going to see the archangels i.e Michael, Raphael etc.. and I wonder if Lucifer was an archangel alongside being a Seraph and that makes him superior in ability to those like Sera etc…
I personally don't think Sera is more powerful than Lucifer, I feel like that's too soon for season 1 and they’re saving someone who may outrank Lucifer later on such as Michael or God.

This is pretty interesting that some of the angels in Hazbin Hotel and Helluva are are good like an angel should be and that some of them are pretty evil like the Exterminators. The world of Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss is pretty bizarre and I love it.😇😈
I find a lot of this funny. I legitimately studied the Zohar and Kabbalah in general under a professional biblical scholar, and also studied a lot about hierarchies of angels. These were a couple of different conceptions of power. One had seraphs at the top, and angels at the bottom, followed by archangels, powers, principalities, thrones, cherubim and then seraphim. But there was another that was like that but with two different kinds of archangel. There were seven key archangels, some known from the Bible. Michael and Gabriel were the most famous, Raphael too. Cassiel or Kafziel depending on available phonemes. Zadkiel or Sachiel for the same reason. Aniel and Uriel. But one of those was a replacement because Sammael fell out of the order. It's funny to see Cherubim, once second in order, reduced to a lowly position below common angels. But they are very cute. Keenie has a bad attitude but she's cute. Deerie is an insincere HR manager from Fargo, but she's cute.
Also, I always feel like mentioning this. In some obscure Jewish traditions, Adam has three wives. Lilith refuses to be in missionary position and, knowing the secret name of god, she can fly away from Eden. Adam is awake to watch god build his second wife, and seeing all her flood veins and organs formed from dust disgusts him so he refuses her, not even giving her a name. That's why god puts Adam to sleep when he makes Eve.

i love the more in depth lore of both the angels and demons is getting and im really hoping to learn how she plans the family drama of lucifer's side of the family , and to what led up to him rebelling with some of his sibilings if any of the demons whom were considered fallen angels and to war against the others in heaven.

Fun fact if you read that passage about "Lucifer" in the old testament it Lucifer is exclusively a metaphorical reference to the King of Tyre (AKA Babalon) and their prophesied downfall not a fallen Angel turned Demon (The same line about Lucifer being cast down is followed by Lucifer being burn to ash and being "No More".
There is 0 mention of Hell in the 1st testament at all and when Ha Statan (which is a title not a name which translates to the accuser) is mentioned its in reference to an Angel who is part of God's court in the tale of Job so way after Genesis and Noah. Even the New testament actually makes almost actual mention of Hell. Basically the entire concept of Hell Lucifer/Satan is post hoc additions that emerged after Constantine injected a lot of Roman/Greek motifs into Christianity motifs that were eventually expanded upon are largely influenced by Dante's Inferno and Milton's Paradise lost. Basically Hell and Lucifer/Satan as we think of them today conceptually is all just christian fan fiction. Not even kidding.

What if the 7 deadly sins were the perverted version of the 7 virtues represented as angels who accompanied Lucifer in his fall? I imagine the original representation of Lust is love as shown in helluva boss with the relationship between Mammon & Fizz. Lucifer and the other angel's original goal was probably to bear gifts for humanity, with it including the gift of free will, but since humans are gray & are especially susceptible to corruption, overindulgence in these gifts consumed them, perverting the 7 virtues & becoming the 7 deadly sins that they are now in the story.
Its most likely Emily is a daughter of Sera, but I wouldn't be opposed to her being an ascended daughter of Adam and Eve.
I also very selfishly hope Emily is a precious sugar pie supports Charlie and Hazbin Hotel to the possible point of being turned into a fallen angel by someone like Adam or Lyra which puts a crack in the psyche of her family and friends because a status quo that punishes someone like Emily for believing in the potential of goodness in others is rotted to the core. Would suck for Emily though.
