I know that this will likely elicit some push back. However, as a preterist eschatologically, I know that I am off-side with the creedal understanding of future coming of Christ. Even so, I did appreciate the expansion on this text and the actual Greek reading. We obviously disagree on some important and pivotal things on eschatology but, for me, even though labeled heretic (and I am according to the test used) Christ is still Lord and reigning in victory.
