In life darren we get these knock backs that make you feel uncomfortable about things. I should know 30yrs ago I buried my 10yr old daughter. So now I never let anything get me down. Same with you darren your a breath of fresh air on you tube the vlogs are second to none and bring alot of joy to,me and all,your subscribers.
Sorry to hear that your family trip to Tenerife didn't go as originally planned. From the parts you have shared it looked like you all made the best of the trip and enjoyed your time together making beautiful lifelong memories. We sometimes get these things to test us and it's how you handle them that is key and in true Darren John style you handled it like a true gentleman. You could have called them out and gotten nasty etc but that clearly isn't your style. When it comes to friends I always say it's about quality not quantity (much like food really lol). I'd rather have 2 or 3 true friends than 10 fake ones or ones that just use you for their own gains. I've learnt to walk away from people (including family members) that are horrible, negative or outright nasty. Life is too short to deal with that in my opinion. Now as for the breakfast it definitely didn't look OTC but as you said if you're after a quick, cheap breakky to fill a gap then it's ok. 👍🏼😁 Thanks for another true and honest review without it being nasty. Looked a nice breakfast, shame about the sausages - sometimes I wonder if some establishments serve up catering sausages to play it safe. I give the edge to quality sausages, but as long as they are cooked well I am happy ( I can't bear under cooked sausages ) Great value for the price 👍🏻👍🏻😁

A different story when its yourself that needs help. 4 good friends max who i can rely on no matter what, not 50 who dont care. Am i being a bit negative? Even for London, that's not what I would call cheap... I don't mind cheap sausages depending on what I am paying, I'd expect a decent sausage for over £9... I don't live in London, so I maybe wrong.

For me personally I feel life is like a book, some chapters I can’t wait to get through some I like to take my time and of course there are those chapters I’d never want to re-read. The best part about your own life book is the future chapters you can ease through with the knowledge and strength from the one’s you’ve already learned from. It’s definitely not always easy I guess walking through this life. But with loving family and those few good friends I think it makes the journey a little easier. Then of course there is always food and motorbikes 😂😂 have a super lovely evening Darren… you didn’t seem yourself in this one. 😕
I'm guessing it was the accommodation that let you down because seeing the places you have stayed before, you are a man of discerning taste. Thought at the time that it wasn't like you not to show us where you were staying. As long as you enjoyed being with your family. That breakfast was substantial but obviously lacked quality. Best get yourself back to Pellicci's. x

Why oh why do some cafes have those ropey commercial sausages.. eggs slightly over done for me, we just found a cafe called ‘the cafe’ 5mins for junc 4 m25 in Court rd Orpington, well worth a visit, proper bangers, not shy on the servings either, 2 decent cooks on the ball 👍

I know the first villa you went to was fabulous but you only had it for a few days - I'm guessing the next one either was very poor or you ended up in a hotel unexpectedly. But with family and good company you can ride the storm! Brekkie a middling one for me today.

As soon as I saw it I thought those sausages don't look to clever, eggs looked a bit hard but overall it just looked like an average breakfast. I'm sure the builders don't complain when they load up on the calories ready for a hard day's graft... Nice one Geezer 👍👍👍

I am not sure if I have missed another vlog about your time in Tenerife however I respect anyone that can constructively review anything. However in fairness when you receive bad service or treated badly it’s fair to tell people about it. Too many times people review things and promote them and others can be let down by accepting their review. I also have been able to make good decisions on where to stay etc because of peoples honest reviews. So if you have been let down let us know.
You seem a bit subdued here DJ. Shame your breakfast was not OTC to compensate. Life at times throws us a curveball and makes us refocus and reset. I am sorry your trip was not as you initially expected, however, you looked like you had a lovely time with those who are important in your life, You Mom, Luke and Mia, also taking time to remember your Dad in the restaurant. Remember the good and happy times and spend time with those you love and all will be well.
You know by looking at the sausages it’s not going to be the best breakfast, but the rest looked ok, you must have had a full tin of beans on the plate Darren

Sorry to hear your holiday didn’t go as planned, but I enjoyed the vlogs you made whilst there and Lanzarote seemed a lovely place. The breakfast looked ok, the baked beans seemed to overpower it, but like you say it filled a gap and was a reasonable price. Looked very nice in there.

Sorry about your holiday, at least you had one! Anyway, the breakfast looked good, I actually like catering sausages!! I have found that lots of you tubers have been spoilt by fab food which makes ordinary food frowned at, I give this one a 9💙😁
RUclips aside, I spent 10 years in the catering & food industry. So I'm all about the quality - however, we all like what we like. For me the sausages let it down

I know the first villa you went to was fabulous but you only had it for a few days - I'm guessing the next one either was very poor or you ended up in a hotel unexpectedly. But with family and good company you can ride the storm! Brekkie a middling one for me today.
2nd villa was better....... but it was the principle which got the better of me

As soon as I saw it I thought those sausages don't look to clever, eggs looked a bit hard but overall it just looked like an average breakfast. I'm sure the builders don't complain when they load up on the calories ready for a hard day's graft... Nice one Geezer 👍👍👍

I am not sure if I have missed another vlog about your time in Tenerife however I respect anyone that can constructively review anything. However in fairness when you receive bad service or treated badly it’s fair to tell people about it. Too many times people review things and promote them and others can be let down by accepting their review. I also have been able to make good decisions on where to stay etc because of peoples honest reviews. So if you have been let down let us know.

You seem a bit subdued here DJ. Shame your breakfast was not OTC to compensate. Life at times throws us a curveball and makes us refocus and reset. I am sorry your trip was not as you initially expected, however, you looked like you had a lovely time with those who are important in your life, You Mom, Luke and Mia, also taking time to remember your Dad in the restaurant. Remember the good and happy times and spend time with those you love and all will be well.
