Adam, your content is a touchstone of sincerity and wholesomeness. And your taste in music is impeccable too!
You know what would be amazing? If everybody who watches this video leaves their own brief journal entry in the comments at the end of their day. It would be interesting to see what everyone else in the community has on their minds.
I once heard that anxiety and gratitude cannot coexist in some neurological fashion. They are intrinsically linked inversely. Reading your story, I cannot help to be reminded of this for some reason. Nothing brings me more stress than a conflict unresolved. Im always left with quite a feeling if i can manage to resolve a situation amicably. Like it makes the world a little bit brighter somehow.
The original text of the Neverending Story is printed in red and green.
It was the only book I knew that did that - and it was for me, a child and bookworm, a symbol of mystery. Of immersing yourself into a story so much that you can't discern dream from reality. Of doing things differently, to paint the words with meaning.
Regardless of if your choice was inspired by it or not, your little story made me smile, for more reasons than one :)
It saddens me how overlooked the problems of those whos job, it is to help is. Not just by the induvidual, but by those who govern. I respect and admire the strength you used to not just make things better for yourself, but to go out of your way and push through anxieties, to do the same for the next person, and for those who are here to help those in need. It's the sort of kindness and strength, that not everyone have. Not always by choice, mind you. But you do, and you chose to use it. And for that, I thank you, just for being the way you are.
It's viral in the health industry. My brother-in-law is a family doctor and the hours and lifestyle he has to life is brutal on the system - the WORST health environment.

This was a new kind of video for me Adam. Very... calm, great choice of music, the added film grain on the video, the dull yet warm colours... You're an artist even with your editing.
I wouldn't mind having more of these in the future. Perhaps a mic recording the scratching pen on the paper next time for peak immersion....

Hi Adam, everyone else too. Perhaps this is a bit personal but I have been dealing with low thyroid issues for several years. It is a silent issue in that we appear perfectly healthy. As you are so am I taking Synthroid and it took a while to find the right dosage. We have to be our own advocate in this health system, my endocrinologist just retired and finding a replacement, well months of waiting. Loved your story, well written in a consice form. I've rambled but want to let everyone know the thyroid is so important for some of the bodies most important functions especially emotional and energy control.

the music is great and i liked to watch you are writing so nice! Very estetica, Adam!!! It helps me to sketch icons for the game and to create some peaceful mood till working process.
In todays environment of impatience-not taking responsibility for one’s actions, and expecting an immediate fix to any one thing,-it can be easy to fling all these issues onto the person in front of you. I can relate because I had all of these issues at a much earlier part of my life. I’ve learned to step away, breathe, and apologize depending on who’s fault it is. I guess what I’m trying to say Adam, is that we need to be kinder to ourselves and have patience with others because they are only human too. Cheers Adam, I enjoyed this video. ;)
Yup, I have been the one on the receiving end. Had to deal with guilt tripping and manipalutors that would gas light me. Some at previous jobs, others in the family. But that was before, not no more, I lost the fear of pushing back. I rest and sleep, they don't. Guilt can invite insomnia.
That's very specific video for that channel - I mean I used to listen you as a podcast. Anyway I find it very calm, meditating and some sort of enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your story!

It is very beautiful to turn around a situation like this. You were in such a vulnerable spot and dependent on the kindness and capability of others who, presumably involuntarily, couldn‘t meet your needs and yet you chose to be the bigger person and went back to turn the situation around with empathy and support. We need more of this 🤍

At the end of each sentence, Adam made sure we can read what he wrote in cursive - see the upper part of the screen. :)
