Excellent video and music. A route for an EMTB after a long dry spell for me.

I did that route over 15 years ago when the “MTB Tracks” were fresh - and they were just as terrible then 😂

I think I would need your local expertise on how to make a gravel bike friendly loop there. I definitely underestimated the terrain

I’ve ridden round there when working the area but the single track is brutal but necessary to link a route. If you ever want to to go further field I’ve got a decent route in the Pennines east of manchester.hit me up is you fancy it

Excellent video Rusty. A very enjoyable watch of what must’ve been a very challenging day for you. You certainly seem to have mastered the drone quickly. Some beautiful scenery captured, so well done to both yourself and Frank. Knowing the work that goes into this that must’ve been a very long day. Chapeau Sir. 🎩

I can see why you’d said you didn’t enjoy that. I love going up there but it’s a sunny day ride as it’s a cold dour place on a winters day one reason I wasn’t tempted to buy a cottage up there. It will be a nice summer ride.
As for Aberfoyle I think it’s a wee bit over rated though I do like the north side. Far prefer the Cairngorms just a very special atmosphere.

I do like the Cairngorms too. Any particular area you like?

@@RustyRidesGravel I love Glen Feshie and up over Ryvone it such a great area as do many routes to do. Love over the Lecht but next year a must do is Corrour. Can’t beat it for road or gravel.

@@SwampyDuckRidesAgain3636 Had a week based in Grantown this Autumn. Absolutely fabulous. I feel that Aberfoyle is great for a few days whizzing about but Speyside is more varied and "authentic".

@@jonathangreen7111 I always spend a few weeks in Morayshire, I’d live there if I could so many great rides and easy access to the likes of Aviemore, Loch Ness and Dingwall. Great for Autumn and Auroras.
