    I love the idea of periodisation however for someone like me who's life in general is so varied, being flexible and consistent in training has lead to far better results. Periodisation is great if you can control every aspect of your life like that of a professional athlete. For example, I've found little benefit to my CrossFit performance after running a 12 week base building block when my next 12 week block of training is disrupted by 12 hour work days and being on call throughout the night.

      That's a great point Dan. I definitely agreed that regularity/consistency trumps great periodisation every day of the week! Thanks for the comment mate

      Agreed. Number one most important thing in any sport. Adherence. Search what works for you and stick to it.

    He's fantastic, I found him when I started to get into erg work, unfortunately alot of his more recent videos are all in French, I feel like we're missing out on so much valuable information. He's a class act though 👌

    Well said on RPE. My suggestion: look at RPE and time separately, not just their product
