WOW! Thanks Joe! I just used RMR-86 on the white cushions and pedestal seats on my 25 YO boat and they cleaned right up! This was after trying several other mold cleaners. This one did the trick - thanks for the hot tip!
I like the videos! I'm currently totally rebuilding a Compac 16, replacing rotten buildhead and bunks + adding support under the cockpit with glass, painting bottom, topsides and deck and the list goes on....
I think that stuff is the right thing for that job. With that over head area, then spray and wash off. That is a top tip. An aside is what I have had some time with and its bleach and ajax. Make a paste which will allow it to stick on a wall or back seat of a car that has had a body in it for a time that came from a junk yard. This past of ajax and bleach will even remove the DNA and smell if you let it sit then clean with dawn soap. Great work.
Is the RMR-86 hard on teak? A quick search shows it can be bought at Home Depot, a favorite store. Also, can teak be bought as tongue & groove? I have an '89 Sea Ray 340 Express that is quite derelict. The plywood behind the vinyl on the sides of the cockpit are rotted out and my thought is, hog all that out and replace with the tongue and groove teak....if it can be had. I found a seller of bronze screws as well to put it all together. Any suggestions on vinyl wall material to put up in the head to use the shower would be appreciated as well.
I recommend you watch my playlist on restoring the Albin 27 as well as my playlist on Boast Restoration advice. 😁👍these two playlists will answer many of your questions 😎 Remember Parts put back into a boat restoration should be proportional in value to the value of the boat 🤔 Good luck

Its LOVELY : ) Thx : )
Thanks Per 👍😁
Another great video Joe! I'm extremely allergic to mold so I couldn't go near your Skipper 20--I'm an excellent mold detector!
No mold now Joe😁 everything good to go. Thanks for the comment
Been dealing with the same crap on a 1986 Chris Craft 315 Commander , I ripped out all the rotted wood and the headliner .
Thanks for the comment 👍😁
Is that product safe for the stitching?
Good question Vincent! Its important to rinse and wipe clean immediately after using. But the stitching is really not coming in contact.

Looks like it works. I have used toilet bowl cleaner for same purpose, need good PPE.
😎 I liked not having to scrub
Checked out the SDS sheet on RMR-86. Don’t I’ll be putting that inside my boat.
Thanks for the comment Joe 🐙the SDS is similar to bleach but stronger. 🤣 Be sure to like and subscribe
