When I was a 5 year old kid, my Daddy had me in the ring and my Family on the Foster side was grooming me to follow in his footsteps. I am so happy that it did not happen, but so Blessed and proud to say that I am his second Cousin.
The most devastating punching light heavyweight champion of all time, Bob Foster! Micheal Spinks and Roy Jones Jr. were great champions in the light heavyweight division. But, Bob Foster and Archie Moore were the very best!
I dude. I am a white asshole and I think Bob Foster was the greatest Light Heavyweight in the history of the division. Man that cat could bang and he brought the whole package into every fight. I trained under Spider Webb back in the 60's and other pro's in the 70's and 80's. I knew them all over the years. But that Foster was a mean bastard in the ring. He could flat flip, flop and fly. Loved him.
Foster's KO of Dick Tiger and his KO Jerry Quarry's kid brother Mike are two of the best put an opponent to sleep KO's of all time, certainly in the 175lb division. Foster likely only had the Old Mongoose ahead of him and later perhaps Michael Spinks as the 3 greatest Light Heavyweights of all time although Billy Conn and Gene Tunney probably round out the top 5 even though the latter is most remembered for being Heavyweight Champion it was at Light Heavyweight that he was unbeatable..
Bob Foster is one of the coolest guys ever. I always loved watching him fight.
One of my favorite boxers
What a great fighter one of the hardest punchers ever

He held the record for hardest hitting lhw while he was still a lhw which was unheard of
EXCELLENT. It's great to see and hear Bob today and the fact that he appears healthy and happy. He was the greatest light heavy I ever saw.

At 1 time it was said that Bob was the hardest hitting light heavy weight....while he was still an active boxer!
He became a detective when he retired...wow!!!
scary power
bob should do a book
Bob looks like Burt Sugar w/o his cigar and a really dark tan lol
Foster was a monster. Only guy to cut Muhammad Ali.

The best left hooker I can remember seeing. Bob was always a favorite of mine.
He sounds in good health alright.
Bob Foster vs Archie Moore, who wins?
Not a detective a deputy sheriff
He only lost 1 fight at Lightheavyweight I think. The rest were all heavyweights.
Brian Kenny so rude to black fighters
