fun fact: it is possible to make an ultimate carry in pokerogue. one of master tier item you can get is a lens that will make your pokemon move comeout twice or more when used. I give the item to my G-max Venusaur with Frenzy Plant. and yeah it came out twice.
Multi-Lens is a bit deceptive because at 1 Stack it's a -60% Damage reduction; so in total when your move comes out it's at 80% of it's original damage (100 - 60 = 40. 40 × 2 = 80). The item is still strong, but without a broken Secondary effect like Torch Song's boost or Air Slash's Flinch it's more often than not a Nerf to your pokemon because the highest amount of Boss Bars in classic is 4 for Ivy's Mega Ray and 5 For Eternamax Eternatus unlike Endless which can have double digits boss bars in extremely high rounds.
Used more for moves like esper wing so say I used it and it hit only twice well my speed would raise twice instead of once I used it on a malamar w the special ability topsy turvy and spammed super power
Just finished my gen 1 run! Had mega bracelet and dynamax band and waited with Alakazam, Pidgeot, and Blastoise for 50+ floors and never saw anything. Barely managed to scrape by on the back of tinted lens acid spray venomoth of all things. Ended the fight with only a burned pidgeot with 10 hp remaining. This is a pretty good game.

How do you get the colour coding of your moves depending on type effectiveness alonside the multiplier next to the enemys healthbar?
In Settings, go to Display and the last option is "Type Hints". Switch to On, and it will show the colours and multiplier next to health bars!

it takes in the damage stat from special but treats the targets defense as physical

cloyster has the ability skill link, which means any multi-hitting moves (bullet seed, icicle spear, rock blast, etc) will always hit 5 times :)
