Due to ongoing cleanup and repair efforts, I'm gonna be taking us back to one episode just for the next 2-3 weeks until things are normalized. A little heavy on the dialogue on my part for this one, but I'm having fun, enjoy!

The Lost finales are only multipart because when they originally aired, they were extra long episodes, 2+ hours, that aired as one episode on one night. You're seeing them split up because streaming services split them the way syndicated rerun channels would split them to keep them a standard hour. That's why it's the same flashback setup from part 1 to part 2, because originally it was one episode.
If you can track down the DVD or BluRays, you can watch the other 5 finales unbroken up.

This episode was cut for the DVD, Exodus pt 3 was the first thing on the bonus disc. The DVD's were chock-full of little details and hidden videos, almost every menu had something to look out for. Streaming took that bit of the experience away unfortunately. Do yourself a favour and watch some of the DVD bonus features when you're done with the season. At the very least Welcome to Oahu and the blooper-reel :)

13:25 Danielle's been there for 16yrs. She really knows that island. Plus, she left Jack and them as soon as they got to the Black Rock.
In the time she was getting to the beach; Arzt and Hurley chatted, Arzt blew, Jack and Locke got organized about the dynamite. So that's about right. Doesn't take long to walk 2 miles. Esp when you know the terrain.
Part 2 and part 3 aired as one episode

Bruh, I suspend my disbelief for a lot of stuff when it is in service of the narrative flowing smoothly and stuff but the Game Boy Advance with Atari sounds and "needing batteries" (even though that one has a rechargeable battery inside 😠) pisses me off so much too lmao
