Terrific job, Branislav! Just got the news that the game is at the distribution center, and should be getting shipped within the next, few days. This game looks to be a happy medium between the more tactical games (such as Championship Formula Racing) and the more strategic games (such as Race! Formula 90). Very much looking forward to it.

The race mechanisms look good. I may have misunderstood the qualification as I think the qualification process could be improved with tyre choice making impact on std die roll and the tyre that someone starts with ie in a real qualification the ones who make the final stage need to start the race on the tyre they qualified on, generally the softer compound and they would also expect to get a benefit off the line in the race but have to pit sooner….looking forward to seeing how the campaign progresses. Thanks for the, as usual, comprehensive explanation.

Hello there, this is doit games (the publisher)...yes the review copy was printed 8 month ago. We have incorporated 2 impotant things...
      1) The fact that when you do the qualy with soft tyres you get (+2 in the die roll) but those tyre get a wer of 1 lap
      2) Stresss module. pilots under some circunstances can get stress. Stress makes that the set of action that they can du is reduced.
In our chanel of you tube you can find many videos, althought 90% of them are in spanish

Wow, qualification alone is a mini game. In general the game looks like a cross of rallyman and formula de. Curious how well solo mode plays.

Well, if you mean HEAT, then they're very close. :)
Pole position does a great job simulating the management of the tyre wear and the weather, while HEAT (or Turbo) is great in managing the racing through the corners and the "heat" of your engine. in HEAT the race lasts 2 or 3 laps, in Pole Position the full race lasts 12 laps. So they're not really the same games, they both focus on different aspects of the racing. :)

@@nithrania-gameinanutshell Yes of course HEAT ;) Thx for your answer. For me Heat is very nice board game. A huge suprise for me.

Race formula 90 is absolutely a top face game and by the looks of it much better than this.

I have both games(just got Pole Poision last week) I find Pole Poision looks better and plays way better. Formal 90 gets way too convlued in it's rules, and relies on the cards way too much. I love how Pole Poision only has one rule book, and uses dice for everything. I just love everything about Pole Poision.

I agree, Race F90 even the 2nd edition, basic rules.. ugh. Over the top. I like the looks, the cards, the other conponents but cripes, the rules… so overly done, over complex. Games take waaay too long.
