    Corrections:
    1. The white player accidentally started with 8 light grey dice instead of 7!
    2. At 58:31 Blue's entire run phase was skipped by accident :(

And JGG strikes again. A game I decided I wasn't really interesting in based on earlier coverage by other people, and then Jon makes a video and all of a sudden this looks really interesting.

I originally didn't pay this game much mind when I saw it on BGG but after watching your playthrough of it I'm changing my tune, I have a soft spot for deck/bag building type games like this and thought the implementation was well done. I like the possibility for massive replayability given the sheer number of abilities the different dice can have from game to game. Excellent work as always.

Great playthrough but I did notice that when you went to start the next round at 58:33 you actually skipped the blue player's turn who had gotten A LOT of dice that you had even pointed out at the top of that particular round.

@@JonGetsGames ...and the die face does look like a beaver. Sometimes content creators make mistakes like this because they don't know the game well enough; in this case, ironically, it's because you knew it too well to confuse it with a card not in play. :)

Hey I don’t think the rules subtitles caught that but I believe every time you rolled a 1 (with a square around it) on the starting player die you treated it as receiving 1 temporary buying power instead of receiving 1 credit as it indicates. Hopefully you know this and don’t play it like this every time you play this game!
Loved the full play through of this. I just got it for Christmas this year and I really enjoy it so far!

    • @JonGetsGames

Huh, we definitely played it was taking 1 credit. I didn't see a spot in this video where I seemed to be saying otherwise, sorry if I made this confusing.

@@JonGetsGames no worries! Just wanted to make sure you weren’t playing it incorrectly.
I did find at least one instance at 42:40 but no matter if you play it with taking the credit. Just wanted to make sure you weren’t cheating yourself out of getting a credit!
Thanks for making such thorough and fun videos!

I wish there was more information on the cards, the mugglers does not explain what you have to do unless you look at the rulebook. I know they wanted to save space but it's more practical to just tell what it does on the card. And the el bantito card should have the actual pic of a credit, not some random blue square.

  • @patcon314

Maybe this will be answered later in the video, but why not simply move a used die to the discard area rather than turn it to a blank side?

    • @JonGetsGames

  • @juliebggeek6545

Mistake at 9:16, the rules are clear that when an ability refers to active dice, it does not matter if their faces and blanks or not, unless specified. So here the green die does not need to show the shield for you to roll it again, even if it’s blank, you can use that ability.

  • @paulvilagos7008

    • @JonGetsGames
      @JonGetsGames  3 года назад +1
