With all the air sanders that have vacuum attached,it's a shame Everything in that shop is now covered in red instead of being sucked up, but instead was blown everywhere.Otherwise, I'd say it was a good day.Now you'll spend hours with a shop vac cleaning because a broom will only do so much besides moving it into the air.

Those license plates light holes are the only place that E30s rusted, but they all rusted there. On regular E30s they also had issues with rear windows randomly shattering due to failing cabin vents. Be careful with the windshield, they were $450 back in the early 2000s. I don't want to know what they cost today.

Hi Marc, loving the E30 (who wouldn’t?) I’ve always loved them since they were originally launched and I had a two year old 325i. I guess I never realised the m3 bodies were all metal, wrongly assumed they were fibreglass back in the day. That car is probably the most valuable car you will ever own in your life!

Sanding will show all body imperfections and give you an idea of how good the surface is, when you strip with chemicals you don’t get that sanding guide and the chemicals damage the metal.
I’ve finished plenty of you would take a look 😂 including the recent complete restoration of the gt3 and im fixing 4-5 cars a week in a body shop and still bringing you content and here you are complaining…..

Look for an eccentric sander with a vacuum cleaner connection and then a Festool vacuum cleaner

Always best to leave a car in its original colour. Red (zunibur) was the original red which is an awesome red. 👍🏻
