I personally like the idea that this is because people kept mixing up kobolds and goblins, so the warrior of light can't remember whether titan is the god of the kobolds or the goblins, so titan just has gobbietech
In the lore, the Heritor Primals are twisted manifestations of the Primals created by Eden based on the Warrior of Shadow's emotions and memories from fighting them. Considering this, the distorted, overpaced snippets of the original themes of the primals makes complete sense. You're essentially fighting a fever dream of some of the most intimidating battles you've had.

but it's been confirmed that the reason Eden!Titan is so techy is because the Warrior of Light was thinking about both the goblins AND the kobolds when summoning it, because of the overdweller/uplander thing
I am sure this was in the minds of Soken and the scenario writers. No one, NO ONE pays more attention to nuances and narrative appropriateness of their music than Final Fantasy teams.

Man i really loved this fights music, and fight (normal and savage) when it came out,it was so fun to do allthough sometimes i wanted to kms but overall,this fight was amazing so thank you for releasing the lyrics

I think that something would be very wrong if he were just lurking up there. A scientific and geological marvel he would be though. Especially because he's the equivalent of a faded, distant memory of the real deal born from the memories of a warrior who's had at least a decent dose of head trauma.
Let's just gloss over the fact that this is Final Fantasy, the game where we kill shit with the power to obliterate everything we've ever known for loot, over and over.
This particular track reminds me a lot of Yell Dead Cell from MGS2

Even now at the end of EW patch cycles, this is one of the most painful raids to pop up in roulette. I see far more wipes to this guy than I've seen on any Panda raid.

Landslide is a very good example of a track where i would personally say the near illegibility of the vocals detracts from the experience. There are a lot of ways to convey rage in audio other than filters, and the methods that are present are actively blocked out by said filters.
I'd agree with you, if you look at landslide in a vacuum. But, if we go with the story of what these raids are, I say it actually adds to the experience. This is the WoL/WoD using just their memories to recreate the first major fights they actually had, to essentially relive a potentially traumatic experience for them where the danger was at a much larger scale than anything that they had handled before hand. And so I'd say the near illegibility of the vocals isn't meant to convey rage (that was conveyed by the original song), it's meant to convey how the WoD's memory of the fight isn't perfect, how they specifically remember the major parts (hence why the "under the weight" parts are a lot clearer than others) and also how their memories are kinda mixed up (such as mixing in some goblin memories, hence why titan has mechanical bits that wouldn't make sense for the kobolds).
but that's just my two cents on it
