@@MrIrule111 From what she tells us, its way worse than the corruption of Light. At least the corruption of Light was an aetheric imbalance, which could be fixed slowly but surely, but it doesnt seem that way now. Its more that the soul itself is getting destroyed, probably from the massive strain using so much feral souls causes, and thats something we, for now, dont know how to fix outside of getting a denser (or more complete, if you know ShB story) soul. TL;DR, fixing aetheric imbalance is one thing, fixing the soul itself is another beast entirely.

And Metem living his best life, having to hear this kind of bangers (since it have public scream I guess the music is on during the fight, like it was for New Jack in ECW) and hyping up a fight who is already hype as fuck since the Light-Heavy Champion is by itself an attraction due to the lack of regulator and also hold (and win) against a legendary heavy weight, currents cruiserweight gonna piss themselves by seeing such a monster joining their fights at the next tier

If Metem really isn't in on this whole soulfuckery, he's gonna be needing a good deal of therapy after we fight our way up the ladder and he just has to keep commentating like nothing's wrong(and one or two people probably end up losing their life on the way).

More likely we skipped cruiserweight and go straight to heavyweight next tier and last tier is facing the president.
I Think instead of “white light” it’s “What light, left here inside, I’ll suffocate, if that’s what it takes.” And instead of “fill my life” it’s “I’ll bet my life before it’s lost”.
It might also be 'supplicate' instead of 'suffocate' - i.e. she's so desperate she'll throw away her pride and beg if needed. But I'm not sure.
I'm hearing "I'll mend my life before it's lost". Which would also fit, given the whole reason she's trying to take our soul.

Hello! Yes, particularly the repeating vocals - "give it all to me/to me/to me", etc - reminding me of Through The Fire, from Sonic and the Black Knight.
I like the couple of lyrics from Thunder Rolls, or Ramuh's theme.
I love the first line. "Tonight the city bleeds blue red and green." Like, it doesn't make sense.
Until you realize blue red and green are the colors that represent Tanks, DPS, and Healers. It's a fucking threat, lmao.

I imagine once we make it to the top, we'll either free all the souls they have in reserve and use Azem's crystal to fight the president since there won't be any more champion souls for us to use, or we'll be locked out of their system before fighting them so we pull out the crystal as a backup plan.
@Bladehound83 I was hoping we could use the crystal of Azem to cure wicked thunder and the other fighters. Or, we bring in G'Raha and use his soul tech.

This sounds a lot like older Paramore and I'm here for it
Against The Current (the band Chrissy Costanza is part of) is logged in my mind as "old school Paramore" - the Paramore I loved pre-2010: the last album I liked from them was Brand New Eyes, but RIOT! and All We Know Is Falling were my jam. What came after sounded too estranged from the perpetual teenage angst in me.
When I discovered Against The Current around 2012, they reignited my interest for the sound that Paramore used to have.

Chrissy Costanza has been one of the most underrated female rock vocalists for years. Serious vocal power in this total banger. Soken’s written a lot of amazing rock songs over the years, but this might be his best.

I think there's 2 or 3 words missing in "And found the price too high ...... (probably "to buy?")" and also I think it's "This ticking clock" instead of "The clock is ticking", but everything else looks perfect to me!

It's sad her soul is singing this to the WoL like she expects them to cast her aside like all the rest, but they're one of the few who would never cast someone like her aside. We've shown it time and again, if you're weak and downtrodden we will save you.

The only line I can't make heads or tails of is the one between "as I walk in the dark unseen" and "the colors in my mind are fading". I keep hearing something like "I thought greener side was stretching" or something like that. Makes no sense. As for the rest... here's what I hear:

For some reason I feel like this would play in the background of a late stage in a Double Dragon or Streets of Rage game. Like you're running around on rooftops in a thunderstorm after the big boss's second-in-command.
This is the only upload of this track that isn't compressed to all hell, nearly every other upload has horrible distortion on the low end. Now I'm wondering who all ripped off one another 🤔
