The embassy in Addis Ababa is issuing immigrant visa interviews. Slowly but surely. They are now giving interviews for immediately relative immigrant visas for cases that got documentarily qualified on June 2020. I got interview letter/email on August 11,2021 for appointment interview day on September 16, 2021. IR2 documentary qualified on May 2020. It took 15 months.
We’re waiting on interview as well. My spouse is in Addis waiting to get interview scheduled at the US Embassy. Our DQ date is Oct 2020. Hopefully we will get an appointment soon. Are they still open?
@@jakekahsai775 hello. They were open up until last week. But due to the situation in Ethiopia the US embassy is not at the moment processing immigrant visas. They are only doing US citizen services. We know this because they have announced it on their website and they canceled interview appointment for people who had immigrant visa appointment scheduled for today and before.

Our case has been documentarily qualified since July 2021, and has been stuck at NVC. I sent an inquiry to NVC; however, they redirected me to the Consular section in Uzbekistan, who in their turn, asked me to contact NVC since the case is with them. Thank you in advance.

Medical is completed now but embassy call agent informed me my medical expiry date is too close to my interview and therefore should get an earlier date. Can't find an earlier date on the platform. Hi Jacob. I got married to a Pakistani man in June 2021. I had to come back to USA because I was on a 30 day visitor visa and my health was suffering due to extreme heat. I am just about ready to file the I-130 form to get my husband to USA....but I need to expediate due to my age (66) and that he is my husband & caregiver. He is medically-trained with 4 years working at Victoria Hospital in Bahawalpur and 2 years as a junior Pharmacist. There is a great age difference between us and so much love. I am 66 and he is 22. We both agree that he can adapt here better than me adapting there......he is young and resilient. He has a Bachelor's degree and he is 2 years in pre-med. I want to spend enough time with my husband before it is too late for me due to my advanced age. We know the US Embassy in Pakistan is not issuing visitor visa or any visas right now. They are not open. Now what do we do to expediate?

Hi, my brother had the same case like you. When his paper came out he was in the Middle East. He had to go home to Philippines since the address of the beneficiary (him) was in Philippines. The US Embassy Manila issued the visa. He successfully immigrated to USA in 2019. Good luck to you!

We received email on October 1 from. Bogota embassy saying the embassy is open for business as usually. 2 weeks latter we received our package. Currently doing medical and income and can schedule our appointment within 30 days.
I had administrative process for my k1 and i received a phone call from the embassy ,told me your process is done and you should send your passport and then they updated my case twice after they received my passport and they hold my passport for 17days now and when we emailed them they respond saying this case needs administrative process!!! And my status it shows refused again now !! What i should do
