*Disclaimer #1: Looking back on the whole event I really should’ve just taken shelter. Please if you are ever in the same situation TAKE SHELTER and do NOT do what I did! I am a officially trained weather spotter, but even that does not excuse my actions that day. Be safety smart y’all!
*Disclaimer #2: I was NOT going as fast as the video makes it look/sound. My car is a slow 4 cylinder with a CVT transmission and it always sounds like it's going way faster than it is. Really at most I was going 40-45 MPH so DO NOT give me crap about it.

Today I had decided to go to see a noon blast siren near Chicago, and I ended up being late and missed it going off (SirenDude1003 got it going off go check out his video). While I was on my way home I got a notification of a tornado warning for McHenry County. So I quickly zoomed into a Walgreen parking lot and began filming. The video shows as follows (it has been heavily edited due to strong language and personal conversation). The sirens activate at 4:46 and Whelens plus a nearby 3T22 can be heard. Prior to that, a 2001 can be heard from I believe McHenry doing attack. Thanks for watching and I hope you all enjoy the video!

If a tornado warning is issued for my area, I have time to walk to my HOA’s siren and get the activation. That is if we get one, this may be a dead year for my area, unless the tropics do something, which by the looks of things may just happen sometime this year.

Island Lakes sirens go off at 4:46 and the 3T22 is not a 2T22. The maps say it's a 2T22 but it's a 3T22!

I remember being upstairs and hearing the alert on the TV. Thought to myself "probably just a watch". Sirens went off a few seconds later. O_O

I like the sound the 3T22 makes when it goes off. Sad to see that they are slowly getting replaced. The 201 sirens sound similar to the 3T22 sirens

Luckily I have a weather radio to see what's going on with the weather, I live in Decatur Illinois, and the city is starting to replace all of the ASC RM-130 Sirens with FS 2001-130 Sirens

In Seattle during a prolific lightning storm there were sirens going off but they appeared to be from police or fire trucks. Since Seattle does not have tornado sirens perhaps fire and cops substituted their sirens instead....

I believe those 2001s came from the 130s in Holiday Hills, which is part of McHenry's siren system.
Disclaimer about the sirens: When a storm like this reaches about 20 miles or less away from a siren, either the siren will automatically or remotely be set off to warn people of danger that is about 20 miles away or less.
They are actually sounded if the county that the siren Is in receives a warning

From what I saw, the siren was actually a 2T22, characterized by its telltale lack of a solenoid box.

My dad’s backup car’s a Subaru, but it currently has a butt for its driver’s seat, as my dad’s employee’s using it until his car gets repaired or until he gets a new car. The last time my dad drove that 2015 Subaru Outback, he got a ticket from the Pennsylvania State Police, but the trooper was nice enough to make it a simple citation with nothing against my dad’s record and no points on my dad’s license. It was a speeding ticket. Wasn’t watching his speed.

I recorded a video of my fedelcode model 7 going off with the Wentzville mo whelens that are st charles county controlled the sirens went off because someone spotted a twister in Cottleville and the national weather service labeled it as a tornado. I lived too far away from the tornado but I was still in my basement and recorded all the sirens going off same situation just not with those storm clouds but rain minutes after the sirens in Wentzville were turned off then they went off And record them going off in a 40 second video of them going off.
