how to use this kata in combat

You do not "use this kata in combat". It is just meant to practise basic body movement and coordination. Sparring never exactly looks like kata (except maybe in a Hollywood movie).
keisuke185 Dude wake up katas are not meant to sparring, but they refine your blocks, strikes and for improving your speed and concentration and to exercise your body to burn calories ! also there are self techniques in katas which you memorise over time, like in this kata a person catches your hand and you apply technique to release your hand and do jodan hammer fist strike to face, it is the application ! . If some one suddenly catches your hand you do it , thats it the rest part of kata is only practice of blocks and punches to refine and improve speed and timing , hope you understand !

No puede ser que un kata sea tan mal ejecutado como en este caso. Un 7° kyu lo hace mil veces mejor. Alguien que le explique que al avanzar el pie de adelante debe quedar quieto, se desplaza el peso del cuero y el centro de gravedad hacia adelante. Muy mal ejecutado.
