That is lovely, I really like the effect, both the green base lighting and the speech reactive lighting look great, it's delightful that it's so small yet does so much. I'd be proud just to own that never mind have built it!
Dang! This is another masterpiece Boyd!! I have so many favorites of your builds now. This, the Duel truck and the doomsday machine are my top three at this point. So cool!!!!😁😁
The voice of Nomad in "The Changeling" was Vic Perrin, NOT James Doohan who did a lot of incidental voices for the original Star Trek. I thought it might have been Doohan (he WAS the Guardian of Forever, the M-5 computer, Sargon, etc., etc.!) but it's always good to double-check! Perrin was seen onscreen in the episode "Mirror, Mirror" where he played the leader of the pacifistic Halkans who wanted to deny mining rights for dilithium to the Federation and Klingons because of its use in the power drives of warp engine reactors. Perrin is probably better known to many of us as the "Control Voice," the narrator who opens all the episodes of "The Outer Limits." He also did the voice of Sinestro, Green Lantern's (Hal Jordan's) arch nemesis in "The Challenge of the Superfriends" animated series for the first several episodes.
Pretty cool, I wish you would hang a black cloth or make a dark screen box for shooting your models when they are done! It would look so much nicer that clutter and lighting is very distracting and makes it hard to see great detail!!
Heckuva lot of work but the end result is very impressive. Hmmm-- if you had drilled into the corners... carefully... You could have gotten a lot closer to "flat" using your grinder.
I really wish the top was cast on the thing. The I could have used a file to get the inside cleaned up a lot better. Still' it's a nifty little kit and better than nothing :)
Thank you Boyd. That was fun. I've always liked NOMAD.

It brought a tear to my eye.... Great job, and take care in the days to come!
Very cool Boyd. I hope you and yours stay safe during the storm
That is such a cool model. The voice sounds like a mysteron from captain scarlet.
Thats so cool!! Great job with this kit!!
Thanks Steve, can't wait to see you build that Big Bopper kit!

Great work, Boyd! Do you think you could walk us through how you hook up the momentary switch with a sound card in a future video?

Boyd great work on nomad ....you are perfect lol
Love this TOS build Boyd. Will you add 'The Changeling' or the name 'Nomad' to the base? May match your doomsday project quite nicely!
Scott
Yes, I'll get Jerry at Hdamodelworks to do a graphic for it a little later.
Awesome!!
Looks like Nomad and the soldering iron would make a nice couple! Tee-hee, tee-hee, hee-hee.
I never know NOMAD kit out there Boyd
Your dremel looks like it could be another version of the probe.... needs lights though!
Sweet
Yeah but can it hover?
Excellent work
. Please use (much) more light when filming.
Peace B w/ U

wow
Poor Nomad. Misunderstood big time. Boyd be careful with that storm buddy. Keeping my fingers crossed no one gets it bad.
Thanks Omar, we're supposed to get a lot of rain like 10 inches in 2 days. I've got the kayak ready in case I need to go anywhere ;)
TrekWorks let me know if I can help in any way buddy. Living in south Florida hurricanes are a way of life. Good luck and raise shields! :)
