I currently shoot on my old canon lenses with the fringer adaptor haha, mostly the 50 1.8 or the 17-40. Both great but I want to get my hands on xf mount lenses now!
@@bentarlinton8707 very nice! You should also take a look at Viltrox lenses for XF mounts. Amazing bang for the buck. Thats the majority of what i use these days. AF is superb as well.

I mainly shoot portraits and do bts for my channel so I feel like a wide open 50mm equivalent lens would be perfect for me! Keep crushing the content ace!

@ the perfect stealth lens for street. gets you in nice and close without being up in the face of your subject haha. man the xt2 is the OG camera. I had one for the last 4 years up until last year!

Was drawn to this video due to the x-s10 (Since i recently just got this said camera). But stayed for the shots. Awesome "live" like presentation of the pictures. Tbh this lens I would use more of a portrait photos. Just getting into photography/videography so learning as I go by.

I shoot an xt3 and love how you approach portraits in natural lighting. I’m not a strong photographer and I know it’s not the equipment but I think this lens can help train my eye and shooting process.

I'll definitely use it for street photography. There are situations where you need a bit of shallow depth and subject background separation. I believe this will work great 👍🏼
Definitely would work very well! Theres a lot of street photographers out there that use this lens for that reason! What camera do you use?
@@AceNoguera I use both Sony A7 series and Fuji XT series. For streets, I use Fuji. By the way, you are the reason why I bought Pergear 25mm. And guess what, I'm really really happy with the performance. This Leica looking lens is so great ❤️

I work in an old age home here in Canada, and would use this lens to take portraits of the residents as gifts to their families. There are so many amazing stories to be told within the faces of the elderly. Each wrinkle and crease is memory or experience, and I'd love to capture that!

@@AceNoguera I use a x100v usually! I have some film cameras as well. I have a few videos on my channel with the x100v and the x100f I have a Leica Q but it’s been in the shop for A WHILE, may never get it back :(

@@hunterhart1 thats awesome you got a Q! yea with all those other cameras you got it covered definitely dont need a A7iii. I considered getting one before i upgraded my fuji systems. Glad i stayed with fuji.

@@visualsbypreet yea the AF on that is sick. Sharp too! Thought about getting it but been sticking with the 16mm 1.4. Looking forward to getting the viltrox 13mm 1.4 when it comes out. Thatll probably be my go to once it does!
@@AceNoguera Cool bro, one big selling point for the 18 is size and weight, the effect of that is lighter set up, carried often, more content.
@@visualsbypreet yea! thats one of the biggest issues i have with the 16mm. Its massive and weighs a ton. The viltrox one will definitely be smaller and much lighter thankfully.
Great sharpness even at f/1.2! I've only used old vintage lenses on my x-t30 and they tend to be really soft even at f/2.. I'd like to have a chance in winning this 🤞

unfortunately this is for APSC so it wouldnt work. It is great on the a6000 series camera though!
I'd definitely use this taking beautiful portraits of my 3 gorgeous kids & wifey of course! Plus my weekly walk in the streets to distress from having 2 kids on online school! Lol It would be perfect for my awesome Xs10.💯
haha 2 kids in online school, man im sure that a handful! Thankfully we do have some creative outlets like photography to release a bit huh? Ive yet to take this lens out for street but i really want too. Its mad cold outside right now though haha so i havent been out much.

I would love to use that for my portrait weddings and portraits, and use it in my street photography portrait, I have used a 7artisans 25 f1.8, love the results now i want to see on a 35mm f1.2 and I'm a fujifilm shooter too, gotta love fujifilm,

I am going to use it to capture street art and use it to showcase some great artists. I also plan to use it to document my adventure videos and hopefully have footage to create a documentary.

Oh boy, i wish i could remember! This was awhile ago :( But the final look was a preset i created in Lightroom for these images, I shot the images in RAW so the recipe on the camera didnt make a difference to the final outcome :)

Field curvature is visible esp when wall or something flat in background. Have you tried ttartisans?
I have and it seems to have been worse with them.
@@AceNoguera Thanks for quick reply. I was thinking of 35mm 1.4 ttartsians (not 7artisans) and then saw your video today. So now reconsidering the decision. I do not like field curvature but if here it is better than ttartisans, great! So between the two lenses, which one is more pleasing for you?
@@twocupsstudio For me personally the Pergear seems to be a little better in all aspects than the 7artisans
@@AceNoguera people say ttartisans renders better than 7artisans. For you Pergears is better than 7artisans. so now its between pergears and ttartisans. If field of curvature good in ttartisans, will love that, otherwise this Pergear seems interesting and love the build too

Street photography FTW seems like most would use it for it. Its a great focal length for it! What camera system do you shoot on?
Look how stupid the full articulating display is. It’s soooo annoying for stills photographers
haha yea man, it kinda bugs me more than i find it useful for sure. It is nice when i use it for vlogging though. But i do have i cant slide it out and up like on the older X cameras. What fuji are you shooting on?
@@AceNoguera I have the x-H1 and currently I’m hoping for x-H2 with traditional flip out screen 🙏 i skipped T4 series because of this annoying screen. I also have a EOS R and I hate it there so I didn’t want to get another camera with this kind of display :/
