The AC50 Pack for Kemper, ToneX, QC, and Helix seeks to capture the sound of a 1960s Vox AC50. Featuring a Brilliant and Normal Channel the AC50 takes the AC30s iconic sounds and beefs it up with a pair of EL34 adding a larger amp amp feel. To me the AC50 has a sound that is best described as an AC30 meets a Marshall Plexi. Kemper owners will find liquid profiles of all channels for each speaker IR. ToneX and QC will find Directs and Studio style captures with included IRs allowing for you to choose the speaker you would like to use.

I would love for you guys to do an old school review of the FENDER CYBERTWIN to see how it compares by today’s standards.
I own one and I still absolutely love it😆
Funny thing is, because of its unique self turning knobs, everyone that sees it function and hears it absolutely loves it too. The self turning knobs were the first of its kind and are still mesmerizing haha
But I’d really be interested in your thoughts on some of its presets, especially 65 reverb deluxe and some of the others. You should check it out! Not only that, you should do a show on 5-10 early 2000’s modeling amps and compare them to either the real amps or today’s modelers.

I bought previus AC50 (Direct + Studio) that's my sound dede!!! ... should I update with this one? Do you think having the liquid option would make a difference?
I really like the addition of the Liquid Profiles, but of course I AM a little biased :)
Definitely if you love the other AC50 profiles, these are worth a shot.

So many of these packs sound so good you really do wonder, What is the Kemper 2, the QC 2 or whatever even have to offer lol
@@Paul-D I am also scratching my head but I think most of the obvious improvements are to software compatibility, mobile and Bluetooth connectivity, plug in versions etc. Touch screams aren’t bad either but I do like a more tactile interface.

Really liked the passion and feel of the opening solo there Sooze. In your head are you thinking about the chord changes when choosing note selection there, or are you just choosing scales and and going by feel?

Thinking mostly melody and range I want to stay in for the solo. This tune uses the Bb in key of D, so sometimes you have to roll with a few odd notes in the key.

We’ve done several Mesas - the Lone Star being one of my favorites. Mark V also sounds stellar.
