I graduated high school in 1970. In my senior year we went on the "Walk For Mankind", a 40 mile walk around the Twin Cities and we got sponsors to pay us by the mile we walked. We started in a football stadium and it was raining. Just before the start of the walk, the sun came out and everyone started singing "Here Comes The Sun". It was AWESOME!!!!! One of the most poignant moments in my life. And, yes, I did the entire 40 mile walk.
You have to remember that the Beatles are from northern England. In the winter, the days are short and the nights are long and cold. By the time the spring comes, you are literally hungry for a warm pleasant day. To me, that is what this song is about: The joy of a beautiful spring day after a "long, cold, lonely winter." It is a great feeling that restores your faith in life.
But yes, it is a great song that each of us can interpret in a way that works for us. Thank you for taking the time to share your reaction to this beautiful song.
George Harrison is the one underappreciated Beatle, IMO. He was a great guitar player and did some incredible songs. He composed this song.
100%
HE WAS NEVER UNDER APPRECIATED DUMB TRUCK
@@bazookajoe6760 He got 2 songs per album...Lennon-McCartney got the rest, Ringo occasionally got one...my 100% response is that John and Paul kept him out of the songwriting lime light.. may have just been greed rather than under appreciated..(he was the kid in the band though)
which is why he had a catalogue the size that All Thing Must Pass was a triple LP... that was my point of agreement with the original poster. If you were replying to both of us, I’ll not a clever expletive....his solo career was not under appreciated by anyone that I’m aware of...
@@sst3d it was there egos but if you know music he was very well known
@@bazookajoe6760 I’m not disagreeing ...just saying how people could see it that way..fuck I was born in 55...And I know music
We’re on the same page brother...different words I guess, but we’re agreeing
It’s amazing to think that George was just 26 years old when he composed this masterpiece❤️
Jimmy Page was 25 when he recorded "Whole Lotta Love." Mick Jagger was 25 when he cowrote "Sympathy for the Devil." Pete Townshend was 23 when he wrote the Album Tommy. And Bob Dylan was 24 when he wrote "Like a Rolling Stone." Classic Rock was a young man's game.
Actually George had not turned 26 yet. 25
@@robrob141 You’re absolutely right. I stand corrected.😊
It sounds so simple but it is gigantic!
Paul was barefoot. George on accoustic guitar and Ringo on the drums
Yer smile is brighter than a 1000 suns. You can never go wrong with The Beatles. A beautiful song for a beautiful woman. Thank you. 🤘🏻🇬🇧🖤
Thank you!🙊❤️
"Limitless undying love
which shines around me like a million suns
it calls me on and on Across the Universe..." - John Lennon
"Here comes the sun" can be a spring song. The light that comes after the dark winter. It can also be a love song. That light enters one's life. In any case, it is a beautiful positive song with some superb soft sounds.
My self at 61 years old
And having worked outside most of 40 years ,in Northwest Ohio.
The sun coming out in the spring always feels so good .
Here comes the sun I would sometimes tell my fellow workers.
"Tell me why I want to cry... no, you tell me because I felt like that 52 years ago when I first heard this. And now watching you, I have hope again that at best the Beatles were able to express sentiments of love, connection and the wonder of being alive. And that is a universal human truth even if I now am old and sometimes lose sight of that.
A magical, sweet song. Thank you, George. Thank you Beatles. Thank you Morenikeji.
"Four lads who shook the world." Early on, Beatle George said all they really wanted to do was make a record ...
One thing that is constantly overlooked is the fact that there never was a 30 year old Beatle...
Wow, I never realized that!
One of their best songs. Thanks George
It was ringo on drums, George was lead guitar and vocals. Cool reaction.
@@wgdavis5353 lol didn’t notice that it should actually be like this 💫 RINGO 💫
George also played the harmonium and the Moog synthesizer (programmed by Mike Vickers), and of course some of the handclaps are his.
I don't see how this can be Ringo. Ringo admits that he can't do a roll properly between the snare and tom because he's left-handed, and he can't make that reach with his right hand. You can clearly hear in this song a roll between snare and tom that is followed through properly.

Ringo did some excellent drumming on this beautiful song by George -John and Paul-beautiful lyrics by George!!
Beautiful song by a beautiful soul, George was such a good hearted man. So great to see such a beautiful young lady who admires his music. Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you🥰
When I saw the Beatles in 1965 my ticket cost all of $5.50 and it was magical. When they came running out onto the field a billion flash bulbs were going off and they didn't stop the whole concert. It was like an out-of-body experience. You just couldn't believe you were watching the greatest band in the world! That experience set my whole life in a musical direction that lasts even to this day! I sang and played "Here Comes The Sun" at my 50-year class reunion because it is probably my favorite Beatles song.
2:56 Always gets me; top down shot of the four of them standing together as the world turns and their shadows circle around them. Just something about that imagery that hits my heart hard.
The genius of George Harrison. A beautiful and captivating song. Excellence in music. Thank you George.
It's always "Here Comes the Sun" when a new video by Miss Mo arrives!
The lyrics describe the ending of a long, cold, cloudy winter, and the arrival of sunny warmer weather.
Keep abiding in faith, hope, and charity, baby girl!
The Beatles are a group that defined music for a generation and decades.
The simplistic sound of so many Beatles songs is their genius. They make the complex seem easy and natural.
Hmm, true
You enjoyed that song in just the way it was meant. Your reaction was a work of art in itself. Beautiful thanks
A fitting song for the youtuber with the greatest smile to be reacting to.
Thank you!🙃
Perfect blend of acoustic and electronic instruments. The group plus a Moog synthesizer, George Martin added strings and woodwind - life-affirming music! I'm so glad you're enjoying this music - it is absolutely timeless!
Another masterpiece from the world’s best band. George was an under appreciated genius. More Beatles please. Love your reactions.
One of the George Harrison songs , with him singing lead , he wrote a few for the Beatles but saved most for his solo work , his first album had 3 albums worth of song on it , his solo career was very good , my sweet lord and without you and got my mind set in you are favourites of mine
My Sweet Lord is a masterpiece.
@@clare1061 agreed
Number one album and I think he had three total in 70’s
R.I.P George. Beautiful music.
John Lennon was in hospital after being in a car accident and does not appear on Here Come The Sun. Those pictures of the 4 Beatles on the grounds of Johns estate are the last pictures of the 4 Beatles together, as the Beatles. So when Paul waved to you Mo, he was still a Beatle :-) Great reaction Hun, RNB
He’s always been a Beatle and always will be.
It is fitting you react to this song because your beautiful smile is also like sunshine. I just love coming here for your reactions, it honestly brightens my day too.😊 You couldn't have picked a better song.
Oh and don't worry if you feel emotional because the message The Beatles are giving is true joy, something we all crave for now days.
❤️
Thank you 🥺❤️❤️❤️
The feelings you reflect on this beautiful Beatles song also make me smile. Music is magic. :)
The sweetest song of all time! Thanks for sharing. Keep smiling!
Thank you!❤️
To truly appreciate what a tremendous band they were just look at the success they had as individuals after the band broke up you can realize how much talent was in one band.
Paul was the barefooted Beatle on the Abbey Road album cover from which this song is taken from. TC.
I believe there was a rumor (probably done for publicity on purpose) that Paul had died and was therefore depicted as barefooted. There are faint lyrics at the very end of "Strawberry Fields Forever" (I think it was) where the faint voice says "I buried Paul".

Yes...when I hear this melody,it makes my day ❣️ George is one of the best composers all time...Hé left very beautifull songs bevind so that we remind him as the"silent force"behind The Beatles...🌹
Beautiful song by beautiful George Harrison. It's purely magical, always lifts me up and feels truly purifying. Thanks for the beautiful reaction! See so much beauty at once, it's George's signature!
You were marvelous as usual.. You should learn as much about The Beatles as possible, as they are responsible for the many directions music has taken the last 58 years, and still..
The most played Beatle song on Spotify.
Is it? How interesting.... I would have thought Hey Jude might have won that title.
@@ivanjulian2532 I just googled 'top Beatles song on Spotify'. Billboard says it's Come Together, then Let it Be, and Hey Jude in third place. It has Here Comes the Sun in 6th place. I guess it changed.
Lots of Beatle songs make people want to cry. They draw you in with beautiful melodies, songs about love, and make us feel like we're just hanging out with them and then when the song is over, it's like they have to leave and we can't go with them. I've always felt that way.
rubbersole ... George Martin agreed with you. He said in an interview that their songs were not what initially attracted him to them as a group. It was their charm. He went on to say that there was a feeling of loss each time they left the studio, as if a light had been turned out.
The song is almost as beautiful as her smile.
This reminds us of how we sometimes forget everyday natural things can be so inspiring, just like your smile.
Sometimes, listening to the Beatles brings up emotions like a long lost first love. Their songs will remain forever, but to have been in the same time frame as they delievered each one...just sad in a way. The way the world has changed too!
Said it before and im saying it again, The Beatles, GREATEST rock band ever
1:48 This video you're watching was put together for the song's 50th anniversary in 2019. The "footsteps" sequence is a reference to the cover of the Beatles' _Abbey Road_ album, showing them crossing the titular thoroughfare, famously with Paul McCartney (the one who later waves at us) barefoot!
Just like yourself a ray of sunshine 🌞🌞🌞
(If my memory is correct) "Little Darling" is his daughter. He is singing about the end of winter, how snow is melting, spring is here and the warming weather is arriving.
I don’t think George had a daughter
He has a son Dahni Harrison.
You guys are correct. I shouldn't write these when I am so tired. I usually fact check my comments, I didn't and that was a mistake. Another lesson learned, make sure you fact check yourself.
@@doubleubee7523 yeah I catch myself on that sometimes. Who is little darlin though? Now I must know lol.
You'd loved Something by the Beatles too it's my fav song not only for this Legendary band...
Thank you Morenikeji, for your reaction and for letting me spend a few minutes on your channel! For future great Beatles reactions please consider Because, Blackbird, Baby's In Black, Here There and Everywhere, And I Love Her, From Me To You and If I Fell! I look forward to your future videos!! Peace!!
You can listen to just about any Beatles song, and the reaction is, you fall in love! Simply the greatest rock band ever, and it's not even close!
This song always evokes good vibes !
What a cool lady...God please make more like her
I remember over a year ago, in the height of lock down, Radio 4 once played it at the end of PM to cheer the listeners up. Moved me a bit. Eyes started to well up. Also reminds me of Captain Tom Moore's saying - "Tomorrow is a good day"
In thier prime and shining
Yes wondetful and George did great job! Love all their music.
Paul McCartney is the,”barefooted Beetle” to whom you refer. He’s barefooted on the album cover.
Mr. Harrison, however, is most correctly credited with the two most beloved (and played, and covered and recognized by musicians-to include Frank Sinatra) songs on Abbey Road, and indeed in pop music to ever be written and performed.
But hey, otherwise, no big deal!!
WOW! Great video and reaction. Mo, your wave back to Paul was perfectly normal. The Beatles always draw us into their songs so wonderfully!☮☮☮☮
Thanks for including my favorite song of my favorite band. I can see you are a very sensitive person with a beatiful smile. I'm your fan from right now
Again.....another visually beautiful reaction!
Thank you 😍
If there is a better feel good song than "Here Comes the Sun" I don't know what it is.
Yes....Indeed...A very Beautiful and Timeless Song by The Beatles. ..Awesomeness
I've never seen you so happy and radiant listening to a song.
Just seeing you light up listening to these songs makes my day.
its the masterful sound that comes from this beautiful song
George also wrote and sang "Something in the Way She Moves", a very popular song. George wanted to write and sing more, I think it may have been the beginning of the Beatles break up. It had to happen sometime, unfortunately. You are so right about your feelings on "Hear Comes The Sun".
Great music is universal and spans multiple generations. It is eternal!
What a perfect song to go with that beautiful smile.
Beautiful reaction as always
You're back. Hooray. And this is such a song of hope and possibility, and we all need a little bit of that in our lives. On the 4 May I saw the first swift returning (it's a bird similar to a swallow), which is something I always look for. Their return always marks the beginning of summer for me and puts me in mind of endless months ahead.
You waved HI to the most talented musician to ever walk this Earth
This was the first song I heard on a true stereo system and the instrumental blew me away. Hearing it again takes me back to that first time.
Love that you love it Morenikeji my favourite and most beautiful Nigerian woman.
Absolutely beautiful reaction to this lovely song. Your smile made my evening. 😊🌹
Beautiful and Awesome Reaction.
Wonderful and Amazing Song.
Am glad I listen to this song all the time.
I got it in my home.
The song Always warms me up on any cold winter day!
It was Ringo Starr on drums. George Harrison was the lead guitar. Paul was the 'barefoot' Beatle and he played bass guitar/piano whilst John was rhythm guitar.
Beautiful song. Beautiful reaction!😊
Yes I agree. Plays the fire out of the guitar on Revolution. Very good guitarist.
Such a great song. Thanks for reviewing it.
youre smile is amazing!!! love it!!!
What a Great Reaction Dear! A Beautiful song! Just one Of Several Musical 🎶 Jems from The Late, Great GEORGE HARRISON! But what I Love is how this Video is Specifically Structured to this Song. And how all the Reactors that I have seen , always WAVE 👋 Back , When PAUL WAVES at the Camera! 🥰 Thats Too Awesome!! ❤
Keep doing what your doing! Great stuff!
One of my favorites!
WOW! Your reactions make my day!
Thank you for this video.

Your huge smile at the start is wonderful
2021. The first few notes touched your heart & soul. Here Comes the Sun. Actually it could mean, Here Comes the SON..!!!❣💥😎🙏 💘 Love your reaction....
Love this song.
One of the greatest songs ever written
The Beatle who was barefoot in the animation on this video was Paul McCartney as he appeared on the album cover without shoes.
Ringo Starr was the drummer.
the Brefooted Beatle was Paul McCartney. the Abbey Road album cover had them ina crosswalk and Paul was famously barefoot, for the photo, generating alot of speculation to the Paul is dead rumour. some even say that Revolution #9 played backwards says "Paul is dead" which we all know wasn't the case and still isn't 50 years later.
the 70's group Klaatu had a song, SubaRosa Subway that in the end played backwards sounded like "It is McCartney. Believe me!" There were rumors that Klaatu was really the reunited Beatles.
that bass riff is incredible
SIMPLE.... MELODIOUS....RESTRAINED PLAYING..., BEAUTIFULLY PRODUCED....A POP MASTERPIECE.
George's song is such a really light and uplifting piece. I luv this song, it projects a beautiful morning of hope and opportunity to the listener......
Your sweet reaction is as lovey and bright as this wonderful song by George Harrison. George’s other song on that same album is “Something”, and that song is another really incredible classic.
One of my favourite songs always on my play list ❤️
You are so cute, I love how you were so brought up when they showed the first clip of them, and Paul was waving and you were like a kid, so happy and waved back hehehe. great reaction !
I subscribed :)
Your the sun the world lights up when you smile
Your smile, and dimples our like the sun rising.😊
Never get tired hearing this👍
Your reaction is beautiful ! Cheers !!
My favorite Beatles song.
You have a beautiful smile love your reaction beatlez r one of my fav bands after 2020 I feel like the sun is finally Appearing thank u
Here comes the sun whenever Mo smiles! This song reflects a difficult time for George Harrison, he had been steadily feeling more and more trapped by being 'A Beatle' over the latter period of the band. This song has a palpable feeling of freedom and release from the pressures of the group, and his joy of the simple pleasures of nature. He was meant to be in another (likely turbulent) business meeting at their 'Apple records' office, but instead he hid away at his friend Eric Clapton's house and wrote this song instead.
Here Comes The Sun is the most feel good song ever. I can't hear it and not smile.
Awesome music to drift off to
