I met Sonny back in 2004 and all I can say is what a great guy and he was so friendly and kind to my kids! He is a very humble and down to earth gentleman!
Sonny Shroyer is from my hometown and actually went to the same church as my family did when I was growing up. (I was born in 1980, so of course he was filming the show most of the time I was very young.) I remember him being home from shooting when I was about 5 and my mum wanted me to meet him, as I was a huge fan of 'Dukes'. My 5 year-old mind could understand Mr. Sonny was Enos, and vice versa. After the show went off the air, he was home much more and even told all of us kids in the youth group to not mind him swearing as the coach in 'Forrest Gump'. Great guy...a complete class act.
Lord he is the most adorable thing ever.....I love Sonny so much. I met him 2 1/2 years ago and we have been friends ever since. I have had great conversations with him, and he still has those intense eyes as he talks.....he truly studies you and gives you his full attention. I have never seen an interview with him this young....such a sweet, pure and precious soul he is.
Her "Lee Press-On Nail" on her right index finger is missing, LOL. She didn't do her research good enough on the General Lee. Sonny was such a handsome man back in those days. FYI, he used to be a model before joining the Dukes.
FYI, not all General Lee's were 69's....... when 69 Chargers became hard to find even the 6-cylinder versions...... the show's producers started refitting 1970s Chargers since the only differences where the rear tail lights, you learn to improvise when you're destroying three cars a show of a classic muscle car.
He's such a sweetie, and handsome too, God bless him!

Never realized how soft spoken he was in real life.
I like Sonny Shroyer!!! He is a great actor and I loved on the Dukes in Hazzard.
I love his laugh
I just realized that he played the football coach in Forrest Gump.
I have met him IRL 6 different times, I have also met Bo, Luke, Daisy, Sheriff Little, Enos, Cooter, and Cletus
He looks like George Strait a little bit. They smile the same and make similar facial expressions.

She also says "97" Dodge Charger later in the interview. Good grief, they couldn't get someone that had some knowledge about the show. Pathetic.
