The fact that I’m not the only one who thought about this shows how much people want another game. Understandably game dev and art is incredibly hard and most creators like moving on from old projects. But I always felt that this game I grew up with needed more. So don’t stress too much but I look forward to what you have to offer.

To be fair. Alot of people have theorized that orange princess/clown princess IS pink knight. Her rainbows and bear/squirrel things, and penguins in her magic are all things that show up in the final clown scene at the end. Not to mention the official art of orange princess holding the lolipop.. pinks starting weapon!
Woah! I saw this in my recommended and did not realize it had less than 500 views. This seems so well done and thoroughly thought out that I can see it being something that The Behemoth would actually make. The designs are on point, the areas are unique even though they are based on typical fantasy tropes, and the humor is spot on. I think the biggest things that make games from The Behemoth so special is the love and humor that are put into them, and you got it down to a science. Wonderful job, and I hope to see you succeed on youtube! (p.s i love the sheer pettiness of getting rid of the clown princess)

i have a couple suggestions for the ideas you had. that undergroung king could have like a big rusty pickaxe laying on his shoulder and he could spin like crazy. for the dodge mechanic you could allow the joystick to choose whatever direction you want to dodge

Dude, if Behemoth ever makes a sequel to Castle Crashers, I hope they base it on this, I literally only saw half of the video and I think it's really cool, it even made me want to animate some scenes, but i still much bad on animation, goo job man
You do such a good job of emulating the art style, really helps to envision what another game would look like. I know the behemoth has said they wanted the princesses to be playable so they think the idea of them being the main characters in the sequel is right on the money. Also love the idea of the pink knight being a starter knight this time around and having the orange princess be unlockable later. Good work 👍🏻👍🏻

This is a good pitch. Not extremely overcomplicated twists. Simple and understandable ideas for making things work without remaking a formula that works so well. Big villian, four henchmen, four knights ready to save the day. You almost gave me a heart attack when you showed no orange clown knight. But, I'm into the idea of changing a little bit the main characters roster and story unlockable characters from the past game. Amazing job, man!

a little thing you perhaps should add in the lore. after the knights sleeping they get kidnaped and get cursed by the fairy because before the first game they went to the fairy floating island and destroyed their island, on with the land remaining, and after that she tried to find them but they were having their adventure, but now she got help and the knights were sleeping, so yeah. and because of all the noise it did it woke everybody, the king decided to check on the castle crashers and didn't found the knights, and since he doesn't know anybody who is good enough to rescue them, he decided to train the princesses and give them new armor (made by the blacksmith dude) and sent them to rescue them (and they also notice that the moles are trying to do some evil shit like you said but i don't know how to put that in here in a interresting way lol)

I'm kinda thinking of making a dlc idea cause tbh I don't really need a sequel personally. Behemoth has said that they were gonna make a dlc about a boss. So painter brought custom characters and a new coat of paint, ha. But the one thing I think is missing is the other boss they considered, everyone's favorite the Necromancer So I was thinking the Necromancer dlc, "Live Again" or something. The dlc's theme is reviving cut features. So stuff like the Troll as a character? Maybe the princesses as characters. Characters having unique moves But most importantly finishing up a loose end, a mini story arc. Behemoth said the Necromancer isn't dead. He has to die twice. So I want a story where we finally fight him again and finally beat him for real. Might do some writing for actually planning this hypothetical out but I just wanted to ramble about it

great work man🎉 as for the villain you could use the fact that necromancer didnt die on camera and dan paladin confirmed he is alive but i also thought of an creature passing by the evil wizard's clothes lost on the fall and wearing it for fun but the evilness consumes him so that he kind of gives the same feeling but to change the story so its not repetitive you make him grow so strong he rips the clothes off like saying thats hes now stronger than evil wizard (i thought of making the necromancer a surprise and make the players think he is the main villain but he turn out to be secondary again with the surprise of the new villain or something)

I was laughed at for a solid minute when we beat the game. I was the best at the mashing game so I had bragging rights though. I wish you the best luck on the project

Most big game companies are always under fire for going for the easy money. But in a time where couch co-op campaign games are so far and few between, I started really getting excited at the idea of a Castle Crashers successor. Especially after Alien Hominid Invasion turned out to be a procuedral generation "every run is different" type of game. It was still fun, but nothing can replace bespoke, handcrafted story expierences.

Castle crashers was my intro to the behemoth and their stuff. I've loved battle block theater, and pit people was pretty good too. I just really enjoy their stuff. If they make CC2 I hope they do it because they want to and not just because of fans.
This is a fun video. I'm against the clown being an eldritch horror but thats just me. I think the mole boss is a fun idea and comedic, perfect for a behemoth game. I'd also like the necromancer to come back as a lich personally, it would be a natural progression of his character I think.

with the announcement of that new dlc, we can see what a more uhh modern of evolved art style the game would take, while in most of this video we can see that you can replicate really well the original art style of the game, i wonder if this will make you choose to change the style to match the dlc or keep it this way as it is right now? it looks nice tho, it feels like a sequel that came out shortly after the main game or something, and i like all of the ideas overall, the mole people could have very fun stuff to play around with their society. also with unlocking the original knights. would make sense to have them already leveled up? idk, but like having them at level 25 or 30 that is around the average level you get when completing normal mode, and also allowing to play the new knight right after unlocking it without need to replay the game from the beginning, i dont know how that would work

What program do you use to draw and make that lil video? Do you just record the drawing process or does the app you use do that progress recording for you and you can download it later?
@@avlis6655 I used PurRef to hold all of my images and gifs on the same single screen, and then I used OBS to capture and record my screen as I dragged around the canvas

The whole plot of the sequel itself reminds me of a Visual Novel that would get this video age restricted that also has a new Protagonist saving the previous one.

What program do you use to draw and make that lil video? Do you just record the drawing process or does the app you use do that progress recording for you and you can download it later?
@@avlis6655 I used PurRef to hold all of my images and gifs on the same single screen, and then I used OBS to capture and record my screen as I dragged around the canvas

@@avlis6655 Procreate, a drawing app for the iPad automatically records timelapses of your drawings and paintings. So I just exported those as gifs

@@avlis6655 You can always use OBS to screen record your PC in real time, you'd just have to manually create those timelapses recordings by speeding up the footage. And yah, my pleasure! No problem at all

@@blyeart This would spawn a Interquel Visual Novel explaining how the Princesses were trained to defend themselves and they were Introduced to their lost Sister, Pink. The whole plot of the sequel itself reminds me of a Visual Novel that would get this video age restricted that also has a new Protagonist saving the previous one.
