I am seriously considering getting drunk and ordering a Tikka T3X UPR 308 tonight. I can't afford this but I am certain if I drink enough, I will just put it on my credit card and woohoo, new rifle! Worry about paying for it later! EDIT- Ordered one, woohoo! Comes in tomorrow! I am officially broke and in debt but I'll have a sweet rifle!
Same lol
I did the same thing, I will pick it up on March 1st. All I keep hearing is that the world is going to end or the country is going to collapse.....might as well have a nice rifle!!
@@garzilla4624 LOL did you do it?? I just saw this ... right after I made that stupid comment, I did in fact get drunk and order this rifle that I couldn't afford and I fuckin LOVE IT! Best ever , it looks and feels and shoots like it should cost 3X the price... and yep, the world is definitely probably maybe going to end and country collapsing with it, motherfuckin right, might as well have a nice rifle brother! LOL , made me laugh, hope you & yours are all good and you got it... 💚😅💯🏴☠
@@Ser_Arthur_Dayne I have already shot it 1000 yards and am working to go up to 1200 yards lmao! I love this rifle so much!
This company makes the best rifles hands down.
Thank you for your compliment!
Yes they do, that is why I now have two ;)
I have three Tikka’s, just a fantastic platform, with a smooth action and phenomenal accuracy that punches way above it’s weight class for the money. It is also very apparent and appreciated that Tikka has paid attention to their customer base and upgraded the stocks and additional components while still jeeping the price attainable for just about anyone. I am sure my Tikka 30-06, 7mm Mag, and 300 Win Mag will outlast me, and still be enjoyed by my son, and grandsons well into the future😎👍
Yeah good as long as you don't have a problem... Then no help at all...
@@Tikkainternational I recently picked up a T3X Lite in .300wsm. Will this stock be available for my gun? I love the precision/sport style stocks like this.
I love this rifle. It seems to be a perfect combination of features that make it appropriate for long range precision as well as high country hunting duty.
Now please offer this in 7mm mag with one in 8 twist or 7mmPRC. I would buy the 22lr to train with and the centerfire to hunt or do long range practice. The right thought process just not enough caliber offerings. Hope someone reads this that is in marketing division, it’s an older video. Been looking at these since they were released but again none of the new popular calibers. I’m sure others would love 6.5 prc as well as the 300 prc in this platform. Come on tikka , offer us some more choices.
I have Tikka T3x UPR stainles .308 and Sako 85 Varmint Laminated Stainless .308. Both are really accurate but I like UPR`s ten round magazine. Magazine it`s same like Sako .TRG.
I bought a T3x Varmint in .260 Rem last year. Damn, I love it! It's the most accurate rifle I've ever shot! 10 shots - 1/4 MOA at 100m!!!
Will the stock be available as an aftermarket item? How much will it cost?
I realize this is a 4-yr old post so I am late to this- but I own one of these and did some research, and then did some *RESEARCH* ... apparently in Europe, a particular Irish composite stock company is very popular ... the dude in the video who was in charge of this project approached the Sako/Tikka stock factory and said "Hey can you clone this stock, maybe even make it better, and make it so we can include it on a high-end rifle for virtually no extra charge?" - and the stock factory was like "Yeah sure no problem..." - and so you wind up with an almost identical clone, it's a little different but ALMOST identical, to a stock that was $1,300 USD (after conversion from Euro) BASE MODEL, not including options, basically for free. Instead of spending $1,200-$1,500 for a Fiberglass & Carbon Fiber stock to put your rifle in, you get it included with the Tikka T3X UPR. And I actually talked to the boss of the Irish stock factory they cloned this from- he actually answered my email in like 15 minutes, it was amazing, and told me exactly how it was the same & how it was different etc. Again I'd probably rather have the $1,500 custom-ass Irish stock but how in the world can you say No to something like this for basically free? Amazing. And the rifle shoots like it's a $3,500 custom job.
Thank you 😊
Please bring them as soon As possible! I will have these UPR 308. .. NOW. Wait too Long already..
Please make this rifle available in left hand.
Yes please
Second yes please
Left hand or at least something ambidextrous
Left hand please!
Yes!!
Should have the rail on the T1x too, as standard.
Do you have a part number for the polymer trigger guard and mag well for the .22LR? I've got a 6.5 UPR and T1x to swap into the stock as a trainer. Beretta Australia doesn't appear to have a part number for it.
Thanks in advance.
Neat lookin performer
I hope tikka.fi see my question and reply. Is Tikka T1x UPR stock interchangeable with Tikka T3 CTR action? or is it interchangeale with T3 / T3x. thanks
When will these rifles be shipped to gun dealership?
I’ll take one of each please
When will either of these be available in the US?
Nice. Can I have them? I want to get the Hunter with the wood stock and fluted SS barrel. Bought five rifles recently so I’m on break until spring but I’m doing research for the next round.
Please offer different caliber, twist rate options and magazines that don't limit the cartridge length for handloads. Love my T3x in 270win but the twist rate and magazine length are hindering the products full potential.
Is the T1X UPR going to come in left hand?
Hopefully, going to buy one if they release it
Guys, please, please, use 1/10 or 1/9 twists for your .308... i'd have bought multiple rifles if you did this.
Umm they do.... my T3X Stainless Lite in 308 is a 1/10.
1/11 is a solid barrel twist
@@InstinctiveFirearmReviews it is not.
@@bjornegan6421 seems fine for alot of guys using this setup for PRS etc. 168 Gr even into 170gr 308
@@InstinctiveFirearmReviews 'seems fine' is not proper.
Waiting on a 6.5 PRC offering from Tikka
And now the 6.8 Western.
Any options to purchase just the barreled actions and magwells for those of us who would like a custom stock or chassis?
Can you buy the stock separately to put on my Tikka T3x Super Varmint?
When will the T1X version be in the U.S.?
It's available now. Mine is on order for early July
How much is the UPR in the US ?
Both rifles are NOT left hand friendly due to the fact that you cannot swap the cheek riser tightening knob to the left side of the rifle.
Don't shoot wrong handed
its like bergara HMR B 14
Tikka what are the part # to make t3x one fit into a t1x?
WHAT RIFLE MODEL HAS THE THICKEST BARREL STOCK WHEN YOU BUY NIT FOR LONG STRINGS FOR LONG RANGE SHOOITNG?
The rifle comes with the thin ctr profile
Is the rail removable or machined into the action?
Very beutiful
what a pity this external nut, a pusher would have made this stock ambidextrous!
Never got my promotional magazines😢
Si elle etaient en francais se serait bien
I understand the roughness of the stock. I just do not like the look of it. It looks out of place.
Tukki on kyllä ruma.
I would even look at theses... I own 5 tikkas been good guns but I have a t1x that broke a fireing pin and no one will even get back to me about... Wost service ever.... Bet no one says any thing on here eather...
The .22lr version has a terrible stock design. The bottom of the butt will not ride a bag well. You adjust the small elevation changes by sliding the bag back and forth. Can't do that with this design.
Who needs a bag on a .22LR???
