I was granted a slot on my FAC just after lockdown for a 6.5 creedmoor and am interested to hear how the UPR compares with the Bergara B14 HMR. Your review of the HMR made it my first choice, so I'm looking forward to more of your input.

@@Troglodyte-gz4fm tbh not a fan of the upr price and how thin the barrel is you can get the tikka tac a1 which is a fantastic rifle for money. Way better than the upr in my opinion. I like the hmr because it's only 900$ takes remington 700 scope bases triggers and stocks.
@@Troglodyte-gz4fm plus the thicker barrel is nice For a varmint rich environment. I really think the ctr barrel profile is its downfall. The action is fantastic love me a tikka action
Anyone happen to know the distance between the two front sling swivels for the purpose of mounting a rail?? (have ordered a UPR in 308 w/24" barrel) Plan to use an Atlas BT10-LW17 bipod w/quick release btw Thanks for any info

I think Tikka ended up switching all their threads from metric to imperial because most of their market is the US

tylar haugan Yes a tikka’s a wonderful thing, but I have yet to be swayed from the Bergara. Thanks for replying. 👍
Tested one of these in a store couple months back and for me the stock felt like ass. Like a worse version of a mcmillan or a pse composite stock.
I love tikkas got a few very disappointed with the ctr barrel profile little thin
Still shoots straight i prefer the barrel a little lighter it just handles better
