Zach, thank you for not editing out Luther’s non-PG rated comments. This interview just would not be the same. Kudos!

Phenomenal interview. Saw Luther at the first Bonnaroo and countless times since. Ate breakfast with him on a JamCruise once. He’s a sweetheart

How could anyone not like this guy? Energy Flows with every word he spoke. The first time I heard of Luther was in The Black Crowes video cover of “Oh Sweet Nothin’” Luther went off playing a Gold Top P90 Les Paul, I probably account for 100k of the views. Lol 🤘🏼🎸

Dudes cool as hell.. I seen him at a small club in 2019ish in STL..
The opening band was a local soul band that freaking killed it.
I'm a lifelong CrowesHead and Luther just started talking to me and sat at the table w me to watch his opener.
    Good times.. good times.

This guy played the solo on Shooting Dirty Pool by The Replacements (the greatest band in the history of bands. It’s scientifically and mathematically proven. Take my word for it)
North Mississippi All-Stars and so much more. Most importantly, he seems like a sweetheart of a guy. Great to see him doing well. His daddy was a legend too

I still have a NMAS 51 Phantom concert poster i ripped off the wall at the 5 Points Music Hall in Birmingham AL circa 2001. I saw them a few months ago. They still sound good.

Thanks Zac! A lot of background on an artist I've enjoyed tremendously over the years but never had much info about. Good stuff!

Does anyone have any further context about the comment Luther made about Prince’s mod using a washer at the neck joint/heel. ????
I’d never heard this referenced anywhere else before this interview.
