- Tyrrell Hatton produced a dominant performance to win his fourth Rolex Series title and make the perfect start to the 2021 Race to Dubai at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

The European Tour season gets underway with the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, one of four premium Rolex Series events which underpin the 2021 season. Race to Dubai Champion Lee Westwood begins the season as defending champion in Abu Dhabi, and will be in the company of World Top 10 players Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas. Matthew Fitzpatrick, who claimed the season-ending DP World Tour Championship in December, tees off alongside Ian Poulter and Tyrrell Hatton, who is the highest ranked Englishman in the field. While Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood and Shane Lowry also feature in a star-studded field at Abu Dhabi GC. Can Westwood become the first player since Fleetwood to win consecutive titles in Abu Dhabi?

Only if he can play three consistent rounds. He always has one or two spectacular rounds and two lackluster rounds
He's never gonna win the masters. Boy do I hope I'm wrong, but his prime has come and gone and I don't think it's going to happen. Rory isn't exactly the mentally strongest person out there and those demons from 2011 aren't getting any better for him.

Hatton drove it well today - certainly longer this year - looks like he is hitting the gym - good for him. BUT the big difference between him & the rest is his short game - amazing! I heard he is now ranked no.1 in the world for putting - it looked like it today!

Wasn't a huge fan of Tyrell in the very beginning however, I am quickly becoming a huge fan.
He played incredibly well here but he has been making huge strides in recent months and long may it continue.

He said once he used to try for a straight shot every time and didn’t move the ball left to right or right to left but seems to have moved to a fade. Definitely paying off. Solid stuff.

Rory should have to apologize but because hes on a certain side he doesnt have to. For the PGA to cancel a tournament that was awarded to Trumps NJ course back in 2014 is pathetic and it shows you who controls them and its a sign of weakness. Golf and Golfers are here to entertain us and not to run their mouth with reckless opinions. Knee jerk reactions to situations that occur are bad decisions as things change drastically in time, usually it takes a 180 in a week or so and it sure did. Lets keep the politics out of sports. You want to come together well this is a good place to start.

Tyrell played very solid golf, but as far as I,m concerned Rory beat himself, as he has done so many times before!! silly mistakes, short irons today into the green were terrible, he is his own worst enemy!!
