    The Omega Dubai Desert Classic, which is the oldest European Tour tournament in the Middle East and the longest-running on the Race to Dubai outside of Europe, returns this week to Emirates Golf Club for its 31st edition. A strong list of European Tour winners headline the field, including Race to Dubai Champion Lee Westwood and last week's victor Tyrrell Hatton - who moved to a new career-high of fifth in the Official World Golf Rankings following his fourth Rolex Series win in Abu Dhabi. Meanwhile, Justin Rose and Paul Casey each make their first appearances in this event for over a decade, World Number Four Collin Morikawa tees up for the first time, and last year's runner-up Christiaan Bezuidenhout arrives in Dubai following two victories and three further top 15s in his last five starts. Lucas Herbert returns to defend his title after claiming a dramatic play-off victory last year to earn his maiden win.
    Welcome to the Official RUclips channel of the European Tour. Every week you can find extended tournament highlights and individual player highlights from the likes of Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood in events on the Race to Dubai. This is also the home of the 14 Club Challenge, Little Interviews, Fastest Hole and many more challenges, pranks and world record attempts featuring the biggest golfers in the world.

    imagine interviewing amateur golfers like that after a strong front 9 in a Saturday medal. You could absolutely guarantee they'd have the worst back 9 of their lives. Such mental strength to be able to talk about being -5 and casually saying you're looking to go lower and lower without shanking the next one.

    I think players should have to work through any distractions, but Euro Tour, please don't interview people during their round! It's just disrespectful.

    • @Somefatdude
      @Somefatdude 3 года назад +1

      Have you watched other sports where reporters ask questions of the players and coaches? This happens all the time in sport. Asking questions while they walk to the ball is just like a end of period question of a player or coach. Nothing wrong with that. And as stated above, they can always refuse. Nothing disrespectful here at all.

    • @Spaxcore
      @Spaxcore 3 года назад +2

      Also, the Tour is like one huge scene. Everyone knows everyone, they all travel around the world together, they've been playing together since high level amateur comps. It's not like some random press guy running up and asking questions, the presenter knows Tyrell.

    • @garthfairfield8043
      @garthfairfield8043 3 года назад

      @@Weirdkid9022 that behavior isn't personality it's character flaws in my opinion. Imagine every player on the course was whinging like Tyrell after nearly every shot. Now Beef is a "personality" and I haven't ever heard him negative on the course and he'll probably never be as good as Tyrell. Anyway I just don't much like Tyrell can't deny he's a brilliant golfer though hope he grows up to be Britain's next great golfer and maybe a man too.

      @@garthfairfield8043 yeah it’s funny that when tiger starts shouting and swearing everyone comments, “he’s only human” and “looks like me on the course”. However as soon as some English bloke no ones really heard of starts doing it people think it’s out of order
