- Binaural recording of Skógafoss in Southern Iceland for sleep, study, relaxation and focus. This video is not looped, although it's simply just a recording of a waterfall. This has been my favorite waterfall since my first visit to Iceland years ago. I woke up around 5:30 AM to record the audio for this video. It was so dark and my hands were totally freezing. I was expecting rain, but things cleared up quick. The video was shot at 8AM right before sunrise and the big tour buses started to show up. After a moment, it becomes white noise. Enjoy! I'll be making some changes to my channel. More nature and less city to respect the privacy of people. I hope that's ok. The goal of my channel has been to always show people this beautiful world we live in and inspire people to travel. Have a great day!

This is so amazing. I can’t bare to listen to most of these guided meditation videos, but this kind of white noise is perfect. I meditate an hour with it, but it feels like it has only been 30 minutes it feels so nice.

I live in NYC and, when visiting family in the suburbs, I can't sleep without one of your city walks as it's just too quiet! I live a block from a fire station and not far from a hospital so I really appreciate your Sounds of NYC playlist but am looking forward to more nature videos like this Icelandic one.

This is probably the most famous waterfall in Iceland. I few people were behind me. I recorded the audio before sunrise to make sure I wouldn't get a lot of background chatter.

Coming back to this comment, I was able to visit Iceland in 2022. It was nothing short of amazing. We did a road trip around the Ring Road and I got to see all of these amazing waterfalls and natural wonders. It was raining when we went to Skogafoss, but it was majestic! Best believe I stared at the waterfall for over 30 minutes. Just amazing!

Hey, great video! About recording less city for privacy, I've seen that you had to put in private some of your videos, I suppose because some people claimed the video because they didn't want to appear. If you have those issues, you can blur their faces going to the Editor Tab in Creator Studio and you can keep your video published. Also, if you are planning to go some day to Miami, FL, USA, or Barcelona, Spain, maybe we could go to record some videos together, it's always good to meet creators from the same category! :)
For sure! I’m actually going to reupload those videos. But I’m going to blur faces in Final Cut Pro. I found the RUclips tool to be clunky for me.

please don't stop making cityscapes! they're what makes you different from any other ambience channel and made you grow so much lately. there're lots of channels already that do nature sounds. if privacy is an issue for you, you could record the street sounds and insert stills throughout the video. don't kill the joy please.
I will absolutely continue doing cityscape! I was only meaning videos that feature close ups on peoples faces when walking. I will blur faces when doing them. But I wont stop cityscapes. I promise :)

Probably not, some people have a problem with my walking videos that feature peoples faces, I set them to private. All except for my rain videos. I really want to respect people's privacy. So maybe I will when I can blur all of the faces. 😅

Its private now. I did it because showing faces and privacy issues. Although I enjoy showing people the world, people have issues with me showing strangers faces on the street.

When people are out in a public space, it's a given that other people are gonna see them so what's the difference if someone sees them on the street or in a video? For a mere second or two that they are shown and no one even cares about them or remembers them they bother others... so very stupid and annoying.

It’s private now. Due to getting a lot of concern about showing people’s faces in my video, I want to respect people’s privacy a little more going forward.
@@NomadicAmbience People surrender a reasonable right to privacy when they are in a public location -- who is voicing concern? In my experience living in many locations in Europe and America, it is not illegal to film people in public.
I'm only saying this because I really enjoy your city videos where you walk around, and it's a shame that I'll have to look elsewhere for that content now.
@@MrMentalSoul I will continue to make them, but probably blur the faces of people that are too close. Unless it's in a popular area like Times Square or it's a rain walking video. It's more of an ethical issue than legal. Very sorry.
