Seeing sonic run in the air felt funny don't know why, turns out we don't need boost
Yah, it’s funny how many of Classic Sonic’s older quirks made it into generations despite how inaccurate the physics engine is itself. Also, that’s what I have always said. The boost was a fun gimmick that I honestly don’t think should have become a main feature of the franchise. I never was a big fan of the boost as it forced extreme linearity (as seen here) and removed a lot of the replay ability and fun the physics based move set had
There's this cool level you can play in SRB2 called Castle Cal. I think it'll be a really cool level you can play

@ThemFish75 I find the boost levels far more replayable than the physics based ones personally, and this is coming from someone who didn't grow playing Sonic that much
@@Dektoonics_inc. I can see why you feel that way, I grew up playing sonic gens a lot and always played with modern, you just feel faster is probably the reason but they are both the same in terms of mentally where you gotta really know the level to play well with both.

Unfortunately Shadow will only be appearing in levels from games he has appeared in before, though I can totally see SEGA making a 10-15 dollar DLC pack with some unleashed levels later down the line

Hope you enjoyed it! This stage has a lot of down hill slopes, so it’s quite easy to skip large chunks of the stage as Classic Sonic

Sonic 2 Sonic, why?
Why not? It’s the best classic Sonic from an proportions aspect, not only is he better to animate due to his smaller hands and longer arms, but having longer more flexible shoes makes things like his over exaggerated running animation look less stiff
That and just look at him from a diagonal angle and tell me OG Sonic Team didn’t do a good job conveying Sonic’s cocky confidence
But most classic games now have been using cd sprite animation especially in 3d@@ThemFish75
