I love the reviews, but I want to see the apps themselves. Some of these it looks like you mostly show their website or demo video. One of the biggest pains in picking an app is signing up to see what they actually look like….
"We never did think it was going to be good..." 🤣 we appreciate your candor so much! You're right, this is the direction Morgen is moving so we appreciate you taking note.
In the Structured app segment, there is a few seconds where Todoist and Sorted 3 appear in the video for no apparent (at least to me) reason! Overall nice video, good to see TickTick making the list, it gets overlooked more often than not while it's got a very robust feature set for a very reasonable price.
Good video, Thank you! Great not to see a mention of 'Evernote!'. Finally! Well done. Great work. My take.. Sunsama all day.. slick, great integration wtih Todoist. Too expensive for me though. Akiflow close second... love the UI, better price, just awaiting the Todoist integration to be fixed then I'm in.
Hi Francesco, Thanks for a great video. I was curious how your personal set up looks like? Are you a one app for one thing kinda guy or do you prefer something like Notion? Calendars etc. It would be nice to see how you work a full day / week and plan, review etc (also if you journal?). Thanks!
My biggest issue with these apps is the capture element. I’m unable to easily connect a calendar specific to my tasks. I’m forced to use a csv file for batch task adds and not many apps other than Todoist can handle that capture method.
Im Brazilian, so i would like to see some free applications, because pay it on dollar here its really not cheap. So if you could show the free versions of some applications like this, or this application, just showing what it can do for free
Aha, no, Fantastical does have task abilities so you could argue it is a daily planner app, but I'm not sure it has as much task function as apps like Morgen, Amie which are on the fringes of daily planner. This is a tough category.
Amie is more of a calendar app, like I said with Morgen at the end, I squeezed that one in, but yes Amie does have the same function as Morgen too, so consider it there too.
Wish Routine wasn't so half-baked and their progress is slooooow. Sunsama is what I used after trying all of these. I still wish something better could come out. Most of these are not well designed.

Very helpful video. I’ve found that combining these planner apps with Astirna New Tab has improved my productivity significantly.
As the solo-dev behind Ellie, absolutely honored to see my app being mentioned among these incredible apps 🙏
Thanks for the review!
Good man! Keep it up
Tick tick is winner for me. Simple. Comphrehensive. Gets the job done. Lovely UI

Overall nice video, good to see TickTick making the list, it gets overlooked more often than not while it's got a very robust feature set for a very reasonable price.
I think going forward you should chapter out free and paid apps
I love your videos, however, I wish you would highlight platform availabilities. Thanks in advance!
I will make note to include these.
In case you're wondering, Morgen is on MacOS, Windows, Android, iOS... and even Linux.
Why is your thumbnail so angry? 😂
It is tough job ;)

Hi Francesco,
Thanks for a great video. I was curious how your personal set up looks like?
Are you a one app for one thing kinda guy or do you prefer something like Notion? Calendars etc.
It would be nice to see how you work a full day / week and plan, review etc (also if you journal?).
Thanks!
Fantastical displaying natively Apple Reminders (or Todoist) is the best combo.
Yes, Fantastical does work well with that.
Does Things do this as well?
good calendar
Great content!
Thanks Dustin, I need to reply to you
one of the simplest of all was missing with more than 1 million downloads, the weekly planner APP, liked the comment who likes this app
I would love to see a video with self-hosted or free/open sources productivity tools, like Week To Do for example.
Thanks - we've got an open source note-taking apps video coming.
Are daily planners also useful for time blocking?
Yes, all of the daily planners mentioned in the video, except for Todoist, allow timeblocking of tasks.
Very much, they align most with it, aside from calendar apps.
Todoist will probably add calendar, which does window it into a daily planner app, blurred lines here.
@@toolfinderhq thanks for the info. I will try a few to see which fits best with my workflow.
Fab breakdowns!
Thank you!
great video!
Thank you.
what is the best diary app
for for linux and android ??
My biggest issue with these apps is the capture element. I’m unable to easily connect a calendar specific to my tasks. I’m forced to use a csv file for batch task adds and not many apps other than Todoist can handle that capture method.
Could you review Pagico 10 please?
Which rank Amie Calendar gets?
I love the way Amie is built, very smooth.
Amie is a tough one, check our best calendar apps
Is there any one time purchase planer? If it's monthly pay it is a sam
Im Brazilian, so i would like to see some free applications, because pay it on dollar here its really not cheap. So if you could show the free versions of some applications like this, or this application, just showing what it can do for free
Where is Nozbe?
Nozbe is more of a project management software.
Todoist and TickTick have also project managment capability but are present on video

Fantastical really helps me organize my days. Sadly, it didn't make the list.
Because its Francesco

This is a tough category.
And it seems this year is still Google calendar and Google tasks for me
Why did Amie not make it into this list? Yes, the email feature is bad, but everything else looks and feels amazing!
Amie is more of a calendar app, like I said with Morgen at the end, I squeezed that one in, but yes Amie does have the same function as Morgen too, so consider it there too.
I’m a big fan of amie
Twos should be in the list. Or at least will be the top 5 in a few years.
Twos is more of a note-taking app, but yes, super for all-round lightweight use.
Things?
More of a to-do app, than planner app
I would like to know the difference if you don’t mind.
Wish Routine wasn't so half-baked and their progress is slooooow. Sunsama is what I used after trying all of these. I still wish something better could come out. Most of these are not well designed.
There's also micro habits. Check em out
This is an app category I dont understand why it exists.
to schedule
Most calendar apps are free to use. @@xNezrx
Why not? Seems straightforward to me
A take it or leave it category for some.
Daily planners are for those who prefer to use a single platform for both managing and scheduling tasks.
