I had this issue on my Sequoia and after looking at a few YT videos, I finally had the confidence to complete the job. If you have this issue, believe me you can do this job!
Just wondering if everyone is changing air induction valves they are not resealing the valley plate while the intake manifold is off ,Since the sealant fails on valley plate around 120,000 and up,They sell a delete kit for secondary air induction for The Gen 2,For about $ 950 it’s plug and play,
Hello Pete, great info video I must say. Learnt a lot. Pete do you still have the old pumps in your shop somewhere?I had the pumps replaced a few months ago with oem pumps but for some reason some reason the pump top caps are cracked and not putting enough air into the valves. Do you happen to have the old pumps? if yes would you be willing to send me the caps? Of course I’ll pay for shipping. Please let me know. Regards, Ash
I am only 5' 6" and always knocking over the milking stool . so now I rachet strap it to the wheels or front stabilizer bar , hey they don't call me SHORTY for nonthin .
@@AutoRepairTips757 Exactly, Mr barry there is no code for the pump, only I have two code p2440 Valve Stuck Open Bank 1 and p2442 Valve Stuck Open Bank 2 but the dealership's spare parts department told me that the valves and the pump come together, and if I want to get the pump later, the price will be more. Because in their view, all three pieces must be replaced
