I ran a Hino 145 service truck really similar to that for 5years and it was a full rolling shop. NO power. It barely got out of its own way but I did a LOT of work out of it before I got my F550

I bought a 2012 f250 gas with 274k last year at an auction. It was in awesome shape. Have 315k on it now and I've only had to change the alternator. High mile trucks don't bother me if they have been taken care of. I have no doubt it will go to 400k plus
Here in texas those little roll off set ups and about four roll off boxes can make a living renting them to contractors. Here a big roll off company charges a enormous amount of money to rent and dump those boxes
Great times wandering awesome items!! A dump trailer would be great but getting to central SD would add a shiny penny!!! Curious how much they sell for
@@markwietersen9285 it might be a ton, the problem is that aluminum doesn't hold up to the abuse that a steel bed does and dump beds get a lot of abuse especially hauling rock and demolition.

Back at your favorite candy store. I drove one of those Polaris jet Skis once, in fact it was just like the first one you walked up to the purple one. Fun ride that one was at the time I drove it.
You would have to go to Eastern Washington to have any fun with the off-road stuff. And the generator from Seattle is probably there because someone probably tried fueling it with Starbucks.
What a "date" kicking iron. My wife cheerfully accompanied me many times kicking iron at either RB or Murphy. Like a giant toy store. and just as pricey.
On the Trailer with the Plate even with wheel wells. In my Humble opinion, and I went through this with Equipment. The inside of Fender might have been open. The backhoe we had, it's tires contact the trailer tires. My guess is they loaded what ever backwards. Thank you for walk around. Those dump trailers look very interesting Brand new.
Dauminique, as a rule of thumb, when a vehicle has high mileage and those miles are NOT city driving, it equals about 10% of actual miles. You can see that that F150 was not a work truck. It's always a good idea to try ones best to run a computer analysis on a used vehicle.
Back end of the green dump truck was pushed by a excavator. They push on the corners when you are stuck and if they operator is not careful they bend the locks.. I always tell people to never push on the truck, you push on the load in the truck
Nice question for you... how u start getting to the customer so can do the jobs... I'm working on getting my own ride around... please answer.... and where is this auction located or name???
Buy the loud green dump truck I'll move from Oklahoma to Washington to drive it if you all pay for room and board plus pay me 35% to haul loads. Lol. That looks like a pretty truck I hope you guys video the auction
DEF tank on that green truck is on wrong side, have to pull into the pumps backwards! Have him check the video on how they did the intercooler on that older Cat!
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver That's funny, I had never noticed how many were there on dump trucks! I know it drives semi guys crazy when you get a rig with right hand side DEF tank! How do you handle it? Do you go back thru the fuel island backwards or do you fill DEF by other means?
I need a few tons (many tons really) of manure, but a full dump truck makes no sense for me to use once or twice a year. Dump trailer would take more trips, but I can probably use it more also. Who knows, this might be a case where it makes sense to rent.
Unless your a tonne miler, a aluminum box is a joke. Broken concrete and broken asphalt will destroy it. A dump truck has to be capable of doing any job.
I am with you I own box trucks I would never own aluminum one ever . Even trailers flatbed aluminum is a joke . Steel girl go steel u won’t be Disappointed in a few years !
Buy that truck & get a Kenworth or Peterbuilt & put the box on it,that would be cool 😎,especially if the Kenworth or Peterbuilt has tandems under it & in black, talking about the service truck that had all the tools left in it & also love to black razor,I would look cool 😎 in that ,to bad you didn't show any rigs bcause I love rigs mainly Peterbuilt & Kenworth, but my favorite is Peterbuilt in black with tandem drop axles
If you're going to do an automatic just go with the Allison F what I have in my dump truck I drive everyday I've been driving for 5 years with that truck haven't had a licking problems with it then eating automatics or just a big headache
After driving an Alison, I’m convinced that they still need work. They shift like trash, not enough gears, and why did they think that a truck needed to go so fast at an idle in reverse?
Well that's all we Runner Allison's and dump trucks up here where I work in Maine we've had trucks with over 800,000 MI the only thing we really had issues with is tranny lines blowing and every once in awhile we'd have to have the tranny recalibrated

I had a 2012 Kenworth with the Eaton automatic, I loved that truck because anyone could drive it and never had any problems with it
That bar on the tilt bed is a roller to keep the winch cable up off the front sharp edge of the tilt bed when it's tilted up.
The cooler cart is commonly used on golf courses selling cold drinks.
I really enjoyed the auction tour. The casual “walk-through” was actually relaxing. Thank you!
I'd leave the 77 the way it is current box suits it.

Noticed the Cornbinder parked next to that blue Pete.
alberta canada representing!! lol
Keep the old truck steel bodied so if you get a job with bigger rocks or concrete you can take that one to keep the aluminum bed nicer
That's cool all I wanted it to be when I grew up was a street sweeper.
Of course it would. Lighter too.
A lot of Southland trailers are sold in the US. When you compare them to all the makes in North America. They are in the top 5

I liked the f-150 but to many miles, the blue Pete looked pretty good.
For a dump bed I would want a half round box, with aluminum you're limited on the jobs and stuff you can haul without beating it up.
How much is the difference steel and aluminum,I it a ton or more?
@@markwietersen9285 it might be a ton, the problem is that aluminum doesn't hold up to the abuse that a steel bed does and dump beds get a lot of abuse especially hauling rock and demolition.

Dauminique, Polaris HASN'T made watercraft since about 1998. Take that Three seater watercraft.
is aluminum lighter for a better carry weight

Things on the back get bent when drivers get stuck and ask dozer or loader operators to push them out.
I wondered my self if it was a piece of construction equipment, like you say.
They also run them every so often to keep the stator in good shape so that it does not stick that way it will always work when you fire it up

How does aluminum hold up against 300 lb. rip rap? I have a hardox steel bed, don't know anything about aluminum.
Why would I haul that? I wouldn’t haul it if I had a steel box. That’s side dump work.
