Right out of high school, I had a job over summer. I was a "Greasser" looking after a fleet of scrapers on a "Road Job". They were smaller than those 641,s at your auction. I believe they were 631's. Anyway it was a good learning job, as I worked closely with the mechanic also. On some days I got to operate one when an operator got fired, or didn't show up for work, after getting drunk, etc. I also had to look after 2 D9 cat push cats, 2 D6, 1 D8, a 450 JD, 2 Cat graders, and a few other pieces of Equipment. I was a greassy dirty job, but also rewarding for learning about equipment maintenance, and operating. Those scrapers and them D9's bring back memories. Thank U.
My brother bought a year old Kenworth service truck with an auto crane, from Auburn Washington when the economy collapsed last time. A Kobelco dealer went out of business & was selling everything.
My young son, & I flew up from Colorado & drove it home.
Brother still has it, but they rarely use it.

Back in the 70s when it got very hot here in Pennsylvania my uncle is driving dump truck a big dump truck and we used to as kids go up into the dump trucks bed mpora lowbed diesel fuel and the dump part of the truck so that the dirt would not stick to the bed. Just think of all the crazy things Hazmat would say today if people still did that. Thank you you too for the video y'all are too much and funny. Other people's junk make someone's treasure

I used to drive a 05 KW roll back. And it also had the right-side window switch also on the dash. I loved driving that truck
always a special project when their equipment came into the shop

That T880 has your name written all over it Dauminique! Bobby needs the f600 service truck! But to be more practical though that new F150 would make you a very nice all around family truck. Awesome video and loved seeing what was there.

On those stellar crane controls you hit the boost button to link the controls to the crane. I really like my stellar service body and crane
to work the crain you have to have the outriggers down to turn the safety switch off
I was looking to see if anyone else saw that the outriggers weren’t down .

At work here we were looking hard at the D9s the D10N was a cream puff
There's a oversize load sign above the back of the cab,so they probably had a lowboy trailer hooked up to it hauling oversize equipment like a big dozer,crane,grader or big dump truck like they use in mines or construction
As a driver of a dump truck you had your needs also

You need to put the jacks/outriggers down.
They have weight sensors on them that lock out the crane before that will work.

Well safe say Mr.JR must been a Ford guy to use gravel & pavement vehicles luv 90s Ford L900 the red one with service body & 28:37 I could use a couple of those mobile offices to live in also saw bunch of rims & tires too.
I have cerebral palsy and a desk job. Watching the video I could think was It would be cool to own that F 600 I have no use for it. And I couldn't afford the fuel so I would just have to park it And put a garden Gnome in the driver's seat but it would be awesome

The problem with those service trucks they are overloaded. Guys with F550 trucks are way past the 19,000lb gvw limit on the truck. It's better to go with a medium duty truck like an F750. The truck tractor would make a good dump truck if the wheel base is long enough. Slap a dump box on it. Everything there is the wrong color, not a big fan of red. I laughed when Bobby was hinting you are chaotic. Us cancers can be messy, but we know where everything is. My pickup can look like a war zone in the cab, but I know what I need is in there. It's just the way our brain works. We can multi-task.

What I'm trying to get across is that truck would be overloaded too. If Bobby ever wants to go to a newer service truck a single axle 5 ton is the way to go. Every heavy duty mechanic in my area has gone to bigger trucks.

I never liked going out on rental to JR-BEND-OVER-HAYES, you drive 2 hrs from Lk. Stevens to their pit in Ravensdale for a 7:00 A. M. start just to watch their whole fleet of trucks show-up at 7:00 and "CHEAP-SHOT" all of us rental trucks and get loaded first, so we sit an hour or so til we get loaded and at sign-out time at the end of the day they started whining about starting my time at 7:00 and charging for travel time one-way!
