- Kawal Kishore Saluja and his family run Chache Di Hatti, a hole-in-the-wall eatery in New Delhi, India. On the menu is one single dish - Chole Bhature.
What sets Chache Di Hatti apart is their chole masala - a secret recipe handed down to Kawal Kishore by his father.
The eatery has been serving Chole Bhature since 1957 from just that one location and Kawal Chacha is in no hurry to make any changes. If you are in New Delhi, and want a heady Dilli ka nashta, do go over to Chache Di Hatti. Be prepared for the long queue, and the most amazing taste!

The part at the end about not chasing something new when you already have something secure really hit home.
There are a few great spots in my city. I sometimes tell the owners’ “please never change”.
Agar KFC MacDonald yahi sochtey woh aaj top par nhi hotey .
That's prolly why they're still stuck in the same place since decades....risk nahi loge toh growth hoga hi nahi.
maintain and grow
Where will the growth come then? You have to take risk to realize your potential.

They have same taste , same way of serving .. I have grown eating chacha ke chole bhature especially aloo wale.. I have seen both the uncles feeding ppl since my childhood.. just one plate of their chola bhature and you feel like you are in heaven 🙂🙂
Same here, I remember going there since 1980. Tastes amazing. It is very popular. We used to even get it during lunch or for work party at the University.

This happens when you are in love, you don't want to expand your life, you just want to extend it. This gentleman is in love with his work, he's not racing for food chain restaurants and Money, just enjoying.
Their consistency is key apart from the obviously great taste- even their bustiers are stuffed.. love this place, the food and the people selling are very kind and talk respectfully too
WTF is this comment. They sell bustiers along with chhole bhature?
I grew up in Delhi, moved out of India and watching this video made my mouth water so much and made me miss the food. I just have one request for them, please start opening the shop on Sundays!! Chole Bhature are the staple breakfast for Sundays!!

Right from my KMC days in eighties, I have been their regular client. Very well said by owners that the branded chole bhature costing 150-200 per plate are worthless compared to their offering. I have observed the Haldiram or Bikaneri bhature turn papad after sometime whereas Chacha ke bhature retains the softness even till next day. Their only emerging competitor is just round the corner to their shop I.e. SS Amritsari kulche wala
Chole at Haldiram are horrible..
@@madhusudanhora2339 Very true. The choles & bhatures served by these famed HRs & Aggrawals mushroomed at every knook and corner of Delhi are just waste of money when pitted against pindi style chana bhature of Punjabi migrant owners.

This is my all time favorite place. We used to live very close to this place. Now, whenever we go to Delhi, we get Chole Bathure from this place.
I have grown up on their chole bhature. The taste hasn't changed in all these years. I make it a point to eat chache ke chole bhature whenever I visit Kamla nagar

Ate zillion times in College for Breakfast. Inspite of Inflation, they've kept the rates so reasonable.
90/- is reasonable?
What in the world you live
We get a whole thali, means a meal in approx 100/-
@hello
Well if you mention "world" in your comment then even as per current world's standard 90/- is fairly reasonable price which is equivalent to $1.13. India's scale of earning as a overall including rich or poor is certainly mediocre. It's just India as collective figure could not provide that level of earning which developed or developing parts of the world are insured with.

The whole video was too satisfying....... But the last statement of the Shop owner has broken my heart.
That's the small mind of our indian citizen..........
Instead of seeing it as small mind try to see the reason for it {it is not driven by profit alone otherwise look at how food is getting homogenized globally}. Diversity only remains when it is rooted locally.

Radhe Shyam's too overrated. People who havent had good chole bhature overhype it. As for Shri Ganesh Corner, it serves cow dung and not chole bhature. Dont know about Nagpal Ashok Vihar, but Nagpal Gandhi Nagar sells good stuff. Sitaram used to be good but now its quality has degrded a lot.
