Sphinx of Magosi is really cool because you can hold mana for counterspells / instant tricks and if a good oppurtunity doesnt arrise then use sphinx’s 3 mana ability to draw. Cool card! 5-something sounds about right still
Forgotten creation goes insane with Rielle, the Everwise. But yeah getting a new hand every turn isn't the best, because the original hand probably mostly had top-end and the new hand will have a bunch of low cost cards and lands as well

Forgotten creation is an engine piece in madness/wheel/discard myself decks. I love it!
I still run Rainbow Vale in all my commander decks. Fallen Empires was so good.
