Nizzahon! You're KILLING it! These top 10's are awesome. I think this is the longest streak of top 10's that really made my friend and me excited. My friend is also my roommate, so we watch these once a week, along with the "How good is...really?" When she (friend+roommate) can understand a card, and even remembers playing with it, it makes it so much more exciting. We both quit magic around the same time. She started in Ice Age and stopped buying cards in Onslaught. I started, sooner you, in Masques' last set...Prophecy? I forget...the crystal symbol IIRC. Apocalypse has just dropped the week prior too. I quit in Mirrordin. Anyway! We played the short lived Magic 2014 and stinker 2015 video games on Steam, and I returned to MTG once for Innstrad. So for us, knowing the cards, is a big plus. Even though we don't play with the cards, we know about Ragavand (sp?) and other such benchmarks. Even seeing cards we never played with, but define a category are nice. It's our version of a game show quiz, to guess with each other what's on the list.
I remember Ash Zealot being hyped up to the moon when I first started playing. She was never the powerhouse that people thought she would be, but it's good to see that she had at least some high-level success.
The snoop has the most interesting history/score combined of any card you’ve featured. Usually a cards points are primarily in one or two formats, or dominates every one it’s legal in. I’ve never seen a card get steady points from almost every format like that.
This was a great video I really love the pacing you didn't take too long on any card but Still gave enough information As a long time Agro player This unlocked so many memories that I forgot about I haven't even thought about ash zealot in years But I used to play it all the time when it It was in standard
I have to salute a long-forgotten comrade. "Power Surge" from Alpha Limited. In a time when mana burn still existed and the pace of spells was slower (after all the bans and restrictions happened), that card was more of a nightmare than Eidolon of The Great Revel.
Searing Blood is awesome. Wasn’t sure it would be in this list. I’m not sure how good Eidolon, the great Revel is (do you put it in your deck or not) but having it in play has probably gotten more of my opponents to concede than other card on this list. Wait, that may be the red creature (remove a card in the graveyard from the game, whenever a player plays a spell of that type, they take 2 damage)? The 1 mana haste first strike knight that gets bigger for each ‘champion knight’ or whatever it is you have in play? But that’s a mana. . .
Ahhh red, the very aggressive colour that I honestly don't care for much. You might not know it, but I sometimes pay RR in order to request "Top 10 Vintage Cards (Minus Power 9)", so that's a thing.
@@TheGloriousLobsterEmperor that's exactly the point - did you listen to the part of the video where there are two few cards with RRR and this why the format changed from the other set (GGG, BBB)? I don't think we'll get the RRR list.
Living language. Words are pronounced how people pronounce them, and I can guarantee that almost every person saying Eidolon in a given day are magic players.

Indestructible creatures also die from "Wither", when their defense reaches zero. Badass mechanic.
Agreed. Whither was fun - infect was too much.
That's like the third or fourth reason I love Hateflayer :D

Glad you enjoy these so much! It means a lot.
I am really upset that the glorious Mogg Squad costs 1R, otherwise it would have been an easy #1

New deck, 4 each of these 10 cards, 20 mountains, go get'em.
Would probably work
You'd need at least a set of Barreling Attacks to punch the damage through.
Wow, surprised Fork wasn't anywhere to be seen.
You should still do a small video covering all the RRR/UUU/WWW cards with points
Or rather a normal sized video with the top 10 among all three.
This was a great video I really love the pacing you didn't take too long on any card but Still gave enough information As a long time Agro player This unlocked so many memories that I forgot about I haven't even thought about ash zealot in years But I used to play it all the time when it It was in standard
Oh, so Eidolon of the Great Revel and the 9 others?
Edit:
yup

Great video Nizza!!! Please do a top 10 on high toughness low power creatures if possible!!! 😊
I really enjoyed the scorching shot artwork. It reminds me of mortal kombat. Erron Black using Scorpions' spears
Lots of great art among this top 10. Conspicuous Snoop has to take the cake for me though. It just cracks me up every time I see it.

Stigma lasher is definitely one of my favorite cards. And im sure im not biased in any way.
i don't know whether the wether will wither in this weather!
Nizzahon said the word "Red" exactly 36 times in this video..
Had to watch it twice to count😅 😅😅😅
How does Final Fortune interacts with Platinum Angel? can you or can you not lose the game?
I dont care what anyone says, I like ash zealot.
Love your videos. Lemme know if you wanna buy my collection. A Mox Ruby cpuld really help getting some of these out!! 😉
Sad Fork didn't make it :_/
Chain lightning counts, right?
It costs one red.
Top 10 cards that cost just U or W could be loaded.
No Fork or similar effects. How sad.
its kind of obvious one color favors a lower curve you can just say that instead
Ahhh red, the very aggressive colour that I honestly don't care for much. You might not know it, but I sometimes pay RR in order to request "Top 10 Vintage Cards (Minus Power 9)", so that's a thing.
I value your resiliance
No Ball Lighting makes me sad :(

wo red mana
Eidolon is pronounced "ai·dow·luhn" by the way, most mtg players say it wrong which is funny but sad
