Wait a miniute, is that a red sea canopy on that tank!?! I didn't know they existed! Also the temp differance could just be the location, the return compartment is usually a bit colder than the main tank
It’s one of the older ones they made before they went rimless. I have a Red Sea Max 130 which is a 34 gallon I got back in 2008. I took the lid off and now use a Neptune Sky and have a mesh lid. Works well 😊
I really gotta look into the conch. I just set up my reef tank, so no one and nothing is in there except some copepods. I'm really hoping to avoid TOO much of the uglies if possible. Thanks
Temp difference could just be the depth of the big tank, the Sicce pump is at the bottom, the thermometer and laser readings that were higher were from the top of the tank 😉🥰🍻 heat rises so top of tank should be slightly hotter 🤷♂️
You need green grasses to reduce the phosphate and all for reef… that will eliminate the experimentation..decaying stone or bone might also give you the growth you want…
that is true they do a great job of cleaning. However, in my experience, mine was causing a few too many sand storms for my liking and causing the tank to be a bit cloudy.
tiger conch is a must for me if theres a sandbed. extremely effective and one of the most unique and entertaining creatures you can put in a tank.
Are they jumpers?
@@KrispieKaraokeEng they wont leave the bottom few inches of the tank
The bulldozer of the sand and your sand based corals 😮 love them as well
I need to make a trip to the LFS to get me a tiger conch, as well as a few more snails. Got my Skellyfest tickets already. See you there.

Nothing cleans your sand better than a sand sifting goby

Please explain how your 3 month old tank looks more established than my 6 month old setup?
What was the snail called?
Why don’t you run a heater feel like 75 is kinda cold
