This season was full of good ideas that either went nowhere (alya's arc) or were executed terribly (Adrian's arc), or both at the same time (master suhan's whole existence).

@littlebabyman8494 For some reason, nobody can oppose mari and be in the right, and even if they're, the show will take mari's side anyway. The different portrayal of fu and su Han is a perfect example.
I think the reason why Marinette likes Adrian so much is because he is how she wants to be, he is: reserved, quiet, respectful, he got his life together, “perfect”… While she is cluttered (mentally), clumsy, loud… She likes adrian for who he isn’t. Because Cat noir is his persona that he is deep inside and he can channel that, but marinette thinks being a super hero is more of a responsibility. So she acts like how she thinks someone perfect acts. That’s why I think the ship isn’t that good. Because adrian could like the both of them since he likes people that stay by his side and make him feel wanted, while marinette will have a hard time accepting adrian for who he is. Btw, how do these 14 year olds already have so many relationships, act like it’s love and obsess so much about their crushes??? Im 14 aswell and no one I know is like that. That’s another point,they’re too young to actually be in love, AND they only know each other for one school year (10 months)?? They shouldve been like 17 imo

i started watching the show when it came out, i was 12(?). now i’m in college, and shipping minors makes me super uncomfortable so i just pretend that they are my age, cause it would make much more sense. like, 14yo superheroes wearing latex? i’m sorry but no, not for me😭😭😭 honestly the fact that miraculous is airing for almost 10 years and the story had so little progress is just sad, literally the reason why i completely switched to fanfics when i was like 13-14. best decision honestly
Zoe’s inclusion just messed up my enjoyment of the show all together. I know I seem really harsh on her but her inclusion just wasn’t needed on all accounts. She could have been utilized very effectively but that wasn’t the case. And the reason she was created was dumb. But you wanna know what else is dumb? The fact Chloe and Lila teamed up in the first place at the end of Penelteam. The last time she interacted with Lila, Lila flat out lied to her face about getting Ladybug’s attention. Chloe had NO reason to trust Lila even after Miracle Queen.
Yes! When Astruc resorted to using fanfiction tropes to make characters like Zoe, I gave up on this show. Zoe is nothing more than your average wattpad Mary Sue who makes no mistakes
My problems with Season 4: *A) Lukanette and Adrigami:* We spent two seasons building these ships up, then we waited a year and a half for more moments between the two... ONLY FOR THEM TO BREAK THEM UP IN THE FIRST EPISODE OF SEASON 4! And what's worse is that the reason Lukanette broke up was because Marinette couldn't tell anyone her secret identity... BUT THEN SHE TELLS ALYA THE NEXT EPISODE AND LUKA FINDS OUT LATER ON, MAKING THE ENTIRE BREAKUP POINTLESS! *B) Adrien being sidelined:* There is literally no reason Adrien shouldnt know the identities of the temporary heroes WHEN FREAKING SHADOWMOTH DOES! And she should learn the identities of the other heroes as well! Not to mention, he should have gotten a power up like Ladybug! I hate that this show shoves down our throat that it's 'LB and CN vs Gabriel' when it clearly isn't when at this point, ALYA has more information than Adrien! And speaking of which, Adrien should have told someone as well or Luka should have told Adrien that he knew. *C) Alya not figuring out Lila was lying:* So let me get this straight. Someone says they are best friends with Ladybug, you later find out said person is your best friend, and you DON'T CONNECT THE DOTS!? *D) Chloé OC:* Look i'm one of the few that is glad Chloé didn't get a redemption, but don't just create a new character out of nowhere! I remember people theorizing that Zoe was future Chloé because they said we were getting a future character. *E) Episode order:* This is probably not the creators fault, but we should have not started the season with Furious Fu. It completely ruined the moment when Marinette gets a power up.
In defense of Luka finding out, he also finds out Adrien is Cat Noir as well and it further solidifies to him (Luka) that Marinette and Adrien are made for each other, as well as realizing why he can never truly be with her. Because it wasn’t JUST the secrets, it was her still having unresolved feelings for Adrien, which she’d try to deny. Before this reveal, it was still hopeful that they could have a chance if marinette had the proper time to move on. With the chat/adrien reveal, it further shows to him that marinette’s feelings for Adrien is not one-sided, unbeknownst to her. He also wants to see her happy and seeing that the man she loves actually has a deeper connection to her than anybody else in the show… how can you compete with that?
i don't hate zoe but i dislike how they don't even hide the fact that she's a replacement and the fact that her hero name is wasp in Italian despite the fact it's a bee, also the moment where she has doubt over being the 'new queen bee' because of Chloe's feelings could have led to a cool character arc (if Chloe hadn't been turned into a 111 level villain mode, they could have bonded over different things before revealing they're half sisters etc).. and i do find it weird that everyone has a crush on marinette...like Zoe could have a crush on someone not Marinette (and it certainly feels out of nowhere AND she's not even allowed to say 'I love you' because France seems to have this 'let's dance round the subject of girl romance' shown most through Juleka and Rose constantly being called 'Best Friends')

My biggest problem with season 4 is how the stakes are as high as ever yet they devote time to the romance that shouldn’t be relevant. Along with the fact that Adrien and marionette give up their miraculous not because they’re in danger or for the sake of their mentality. They do it because of their hormones. Is this really how Thomas views teenagers!?
It's funny how for a fashion designer, Gabriel has a inconsistent level of intelligence and creativity.....one of the more infuriating things about the show (other than his feelings about his son and how they didn't give emilie flashbacks throughout the early seasons) Me personally, i don’t hate the show but I do dislike how much wasted potential they don’t use in the writing 😅
45:37 I still can’t get over the fact they gave Sabrina the dog without her going through any sort of development. If they wanted her to get the dog without any of the bad implications then have her show true loyalty and stand up for herself and try to help Chloe be better in her worst state.

Looking at season 2 specifically, Nino and Chloe definitely went through some growth, but that wasn't the case with Alya as the only reason she got the Fox Miraculous was simply because the heroes needed reinforcements and Alya was the only one Marinette could really ask.
Obligatory Thomas austrucs hatred for a fictional child he created is weird and the fact that chloe gets denied any character development to make her a better person because hes still bitter over something that happened decades ago is also weird.
Even worse when you find out that Marinette’s dad is a self insert, and Marinette’s mom is an insert of his ex. Not to mention he made another self insert in animeastro where the entire episode is about how nobody gives him enough credit. This whole show is just his fantasy😭😭

Season 4 and 5 of miraculous just doesn't feel the same, I've watched Miraculous ever since it first came out in 2015 so 9 years and I thought it'd grow to be fun and interesting but ever since season 4 it felt different. It feels like they're focusing more on drama and not focusing on other things. Nearly every episode feels huge and unnecessary, I don't know if it's just me who feels like that though. 😭
i feel like lots of people agree, especially after season 5. i started the show in 2015 too but i dropped it at season 3, i was waiting and waiting for the plot to go somewhere but it was obvious that nothing was happening. looking at what happened in season 4 onward im so glad my 16 year old self decided to jump ship lmfao

One problem I have with the season 4 finale, as with the movie Scrooged, is that what is supposed to be an apology or moment of reflection/regret we actually see Marinette suffer a nervous breakdown. We don't even see her looking Chat Noir in the eye when she says that, we just see her say how horrible she was throughout the season (since no one has the right to criticize her except herself.) It would have been preferable for her to give up being a Guardian right there and then, and lose what a few weeks of memories?

Fun Fact Thomas had the opportunity to reboot the show by making Gabe win and past Gabe losing the butterfly miraculous like come on how did he not think of this
The thing I find most impressive about this show is the sheer number of episodes or scenes made solely for damage control because of something a previous episode did. We had that one episode where the characters revisit the wax museum and Adrian tells Mari (and the audience) that her trying to kiss him while thinking he's a wax statue "wasn't disastrous at all." This was obviously done because of all the criticism that scene got and him saying that didn't feel natural. Also, all the episodes that were dedicated to ruining Chloe's image just so the show creator could silence all the angry fans who were upset about them throwing her redemption arc down the drain in S3 finale. You could tell Tomas was speaking through Mari when she said that Queen Bee "was more of a super disaster than a superhero." Considering the large number of Akumatizations Mari caused, the times she misused her powers and authority, and the crimes she committed, she is in no position to make it sound like Queen Bee never helped out and didn't have room to learn and grow as a hero.
Right the moment where Adrien reveals he has liked Marinette since the wax museum moment 😳 which is very uncomfortable and makes the ship dissolve into a toxic mess
58:34 On top that neither are particularly impactful. Antibug, and Queen Wasp are akumas that are deeply tied to the character and their arc. The latter more so than the former, but you get my drift. Even in season one Chloe being akumatized meant something.
43:05 They’re paltry in comparison to how long we had Chloe around for, and not even close to being built up as well. We get a fraction of her backstory in one episode instead of the season long build up with Chloe and in the end it’s just a half assed version of both Chloe and Sabrina combined.
thank you for the video! i love the content and the video! miraculous is my most fav show of all time, the feelings the show gives me from the voice acting is amazing to me. i will never forget watching the feeling i got at the end of season 5 the fighting scene at the end made my heart race in a way i never felt before.

Her spoiled attitude is not at all an act, and this whole thing was watching the mental downfall of a person as they have their worst part of themself subsume all in an attempt to avoid internal confrontation. It makes me wonder why her being sent off is a good thing when everything that’s happened over the series as a whole can be described as nothing less than a tragedy.
Season 4 is such a mixed bag for me. While I wasn't a fan of S3's finale, I did at least enjoy it, but S4 made me really question if the show is still worth it. Then the finale happened and it got me hooked for another season and S5 was honestly kinda okay. Not great, a lot of problems but felt worth it for watching since S1
Seaosn 4 had ups and downs from a reveal to a couple fillers a useless football special and the W finale,it was overall a great season.You have AMAZING VIDEOS i’ll take 2 hours of my time (which i did) to watch these masterpieces.

I really enjoyed the video but I felt like a major part was missing. Because where is the Adrian section? While he didn't get a lot of attention like he should have which should be discussed he still had a somewhat part of an arc which should have been discussed in a long and that video about the whole of season 4.
Yeah, sorry about that. The preparations for the video were very extensive and time-consuming, and I guess in that time I overlooked much of what Adrien had to offer this season. By the time I realised, I didn’t have the time or the ability to really touch on it without making the video a nightmare to export. I’m glad you still enjoyed, though. 😊

Season 4 was an amazing season, in my point of view but all the plots of season 4 were lost in season 5; Season 4 was also ruined because of the animation quality, if s4 has an amazing quality it would have been the best season but it was not.
Season 1 is Good Season 2 beautiful ( the best season for me ) Season 3 horrible Season 4 a little bit better of S3 Season 5 more or less like S3 and a Horrible Ending
Seasons 2 and 4 are the best seasons. Even though the payoff could be a bit weak, they at least followed through with their ideas, with Ladybug's arc this season being her getting the consequences of her actions due to thinking she could shoulder everything. Reminds me a lot of Master Wu and how he never told the ninja about the Time Twins as he wanted to do everything himself.
If I had to pick season 4 is my favorite Then, if I had the rank them it be The Paris special than Season 4,2,5,1,3 Season for was fun Gabriel used his brain for 2 mins mari was creepy,she had help I thought they were going to set Adrian up to find out his dad was evil in risk, I liked the fusions we got with the miraculous my favorite was penny bug I hope the new season doesn't suck, but I already saw marinette's new outfit for the season and I know I'm not going to adjust to seeing that new outfit cuz the new outfit they designed for her I know it's based off her original concept art from when they were doing the show Bible or whatever but she looks like a fourth grader and taking a closer look at her outfit she looks like Lila 😂
As much as MG was right about the weirdness of the Miraculous, you have to understand that Miraculous can take a serious toll on the body, using too many can be devastating for the user Marinette may have plot armour but she can still suffer consequences from using too many at once without being smart Plus, Bunnyx herself has stated that meddling with time is dangerous, she CANNOT use the Bunny Miraculous to find out who Hawkmoth is because if she does time will suffer She cannot interfere with something like that otherwise the fabric of reality will suffer greatly, that's not me being overdramatic, that is just how time and temporal affairs work
Also, this one is actually for MG himself, the power of Resistance is confirmed(In the episode of Penalteam) to only negate direct attacks from SUPERPOWERS so it only works on superpowers It cannot negate or stop non supernatural attacks, like getting b*tch slapped by a giant pizza holder...Stick thingy
Just seeing the responses and not seeing the show itself, Season 4 just drives me away. Sexual assault isn't a joke, and the main character molested her own friend. Her. Own. Friend. And it was reciprocated awfully. Not to mention that nothing really went anywhere. I love Transformers Prime because things went places, nothing was left out too badly. And also, arcs concluded well. PTSD was handled wonderfully in the different spectrums it is spread as. It was so much older and did so much better.

53:16 That’s exactly what I did and went to watch the first 12 (skip 11, 14,16,19,20, and 21 because the writing is terrible) to 15 and 18 of Precure which has way better writing than this.
This season started good but went horribly wrong. Too much filler like galciator 2 or simpleman. The series was going downhill by this season and how the writers were basically running out of ideas especially with episodes like rocketeer and penealteam that ruined the character development. Season 5 is when this show was later redeemed

Which is kinda of dumb cuz after the finale of season 5, there are 5 (maybe 6?) people who know her identity, yet the writers don't seem to find anything wrong with that.
@@usernotfound_____yet what do you mean? everyone that knows marinette's identity besides alya are in a position where they aren't able to be akumatized/do not pose a threat to her safety. luka left paris and is doing guardian training, bunnyx is traveling time, suhan/fu is/were able to deflect akumas, gabriel is dead.
@@heyimjaytee these characters don't even need to be Akumatized they could just get mind controlled and lead the villains to ladybug similar to what happened in revelation when a mind controlled alya went straight to Marinette's house to catch ladybug. Granted she didn't lead the villain to ladybug, alya knowing Mari's identity was still a threat.
Also, half of these characters (luka,kagami and felix) barely do anything with the knowledge they possess so what's the point of them knowing from a writing point of view?

*E) Episode order:* This is probably not the creators fault, but we should have not started the season with Furious Fu. It completely ruined the moment when Marinette gets a power up.
In defense of Luka finding out, he also finds out Adrien is Cat Noir as well and it further solidifies to him (Luka) that Marinette and Adrien are made for each other, as well as realizing why he can never truly be with her. Because it wasn’t JUST the secrets, it was her still having unresolved feelings for Adrien, which she’d try to deny. Before this reveal, it was still hopeful that they could have a chance if marinette had the proper time to move on. With the chat/adrien reveal, it further shows to him that marinette’s feelings for Adrien is not one-sided, unbeknownst to her. He also wants to see her happy and seeing that the man she loves actually has a deeper connection to her than anybody else in the show… how can you compete with that?
i don't hate zoe but i dislike how they don't even hide the fact that she's a replacement and the fact that her hero name is wasp in Italian despite the fact it's a bee, also the moment where she has doubt over being the 'new queen bee' because of Chloe's feelings could have led to a cool character arc (if Chloe hadn't been turned into a 111 level villain mode, they could have bonded over different things before revealing they're half sisters etc).. and i do find it weird that everyone has a crush on marinette...like Zoe could have a crush on someone not Marinette (and it certainly feels out of nowhere AND she's not even allowed to say 'I love you' because France seems to have this 'let's dance round the subject of girl romance' shown most through Juleka and Rose constantly being called 'Best Friends')

My biggest problem with season 4 is how the stakes are as high as ever yet they devote time to the romance that shouldn’t be relevant. Along with the fact that Adrien and marionette give up their miraculous not because they’re in danger or for the sake of their mentality. They do it because of their hormones. Is this really how Thomas views teenagers!?

Looking at season 2 specifically, Nino and Chloe definitely went through some growth, but that wasn't the case with Alya as the only reason she got the Fox Miraculous was simply because the heroes needed reinforcements and Alya was the only one Marinette could really ask.
Obligatory Thomas austrucs hatred for a fictional child he created is weird and the fact that chloe gets denied any character development to make her a better person because hes still bitter over something that happened decades ago is also weird.
Even worse when you find out that Marinette’s dad is a self insert, and Marinette’s mom is an insert of his ex. Not to mention he made another self insert in animeastro where the entire episode is about how nobody gives him enough credit. This whole show is just his fantasy😭😭

Season 4 and 5 of miraculous just doesn't feel the same, I've watched Miraculous ever since it first came out in 2015 so 9 years and I thought it'd grow to be fun and interesting but ever since season 4 it felt different. It feels like they're focusing more on drama and not focusing on other things. Nearly every episode feels huge and unnecessary, I don't know if it's just me who feels like that though. 😭
i feel like lots of people agree, especially after season 5. i started the show in 2015 too but i dropped it at season 3, i was waiting and waiting for the plot to go somewhere but it was obvious that nothing was happening. looking at what happened in season 4 onward im so glad my 16 year old self decided to jump ship lmfao

Well, for what it's worth. One problem I have with the season 4 finale, as with the movie Scrooged, is that what is supposed to be an apology or moment of reflection/regret we actually see Marinette suffer a nervous breakdown. We don't even see her looking Chat Noir in the eye when she says that, we just see her say how horrible she was throughout the season (since no one has the right to criticize her except herself.)
It would have been preferable for her to give up being a Guardian right there and then, and lose what a few weeks of memories?

The thing I find most impressive about this show is the sheer number of episodes or scenes made solely for damage control because of something a previous episode did.
We had that one episode where the characters revisit the wax museum and Adrian tells Mari (and the audience) that her trying to kiss him while thinking he's a wax statue "wasn't disastrous at all." This was obviously done because of all the criticism that scene got and him saying that didn't feel natural.
Also, all the episodes that were dedicated to ruining Chloe's image just so the show creator could silence all the angry fans who were upset about them throwing her redemption arc down the drain in S3 finale. You could tell Tomas was speaking through Mari when she said that Queen Bee "was more of a super disaster than a superhero." Considering the large number of Akumatizations Mari caused, the times she misused her powers and authority, and the crimes she committed, she is in no position to make it sound like Queen Bee never helped out and didn't have room to learn and grow as a hero.
Right the moment where Adrien reveals he has liked Marinette since the wax museum moment 😳 which is very uncomfortable and makes the ship dissolve into a toxic mess
58:34 On top that neither are particularly impactful. Antibug, and Queen Wasp are akumas that are deeply tied to the character and their arc. The latter more so than the former, but you get my drift. Even in season one Chloe being akumatized meant something.
43:05 They’re paltry in comparison to how long we had Chloe around for, and not even close to being built up as well. We get a fraction of her backstory in one episode instead of the season long build up with Chloe and in the end it’s just a half assed version of both Chloe and Sabrina combined.

Her spoiled attitude is not at all an act, and this whole thing was watching the mental downfall of a person as they have their worst part of themself subsume all in an attempt to avoid internal confrontation. It makes me wonder why her being sent off is a good thing when everything that’s happened over the series as a whole can be described as nothing less than a tragedy.
Season 4 is such a mixed bag for me. While I wasn't a fan of S3's finale, I did at least enjoy it, but S4 made me really question if the show is still worth it. Then the finale happened and it got me hooked for another season and S5 was honestly kinda okay. Not great, a lot of problems but felt worth it for watching since S1
Seaosn 4 had ups and downs from a reveal to a couple fillers a useless football special and the W finale,it was overall a great season.You have AMAZING VIDEOS i’ll take 2 hours of my time (which i did) to watch these masterpieces.

I really enjoyed the video but I felt like a major part was missing. Because where is the Adrian section? While he didn't get a lot of attention like he should have which should be discussed he still had a somewhat part of an arc which should have been discussed in a long and that video about the whole of season 4.

The preparations for the video were very extensive and time-consuming, and I guess in that time I overlooked much of what Adrien had to offer this season. By the time I realised, I didn’t have the time or the ability to really touch on it without making the video a nightmare to export.

Season 4 was an amazing season, in my point of view but all the plots of season 4 were lost in season 5; Season 4 was also ruined because of the animation quality, if s4 has an amazing quality it would have been the best season but it was not.

Plus, Bunnyx herself has stated that meddling with time is dangerous, she CANNOT use the Bunny Miraculous to find out who Hawkmoth is because if she does time will suffer
She cannot interfere with something like that otherwise the fabric of reality will suffer greatly, that's not me being overdramatic, that is just how time and temporal affairs work
Also, this one is actually for MG himself, the power of Resistance is confirmed(In the episode of Penalteam) to only negate direct attacks from SUPERPOWERS so it only works on superpowers

Just seeing the responses and not seeing the show itself, Season 4 just drives me away. Sexual assault isn't a joke, and the main character molested her own friend. Her. Own. Friend. And it was reciprocated awfully.
Not to mention that nothing really went anywhere. I love Transformers Prime because things went places, nothing was left out too badly. And also, arcs concluded well. PTSD was handled wonderfully in the different spectrums it is spread as. It was so much older and did so much better.

This season started good but went horribly wrong. Too much filler like galciator 2 or simpleman. The series was going downhill by this season and how the writers were basically running out of ideas especially with episodes like rocketeer and penealteam that ruined the character development. Season 5 is when this show was later redeemed

Which is kinda of dumb cuz after the finale of season 5, there are 5 (maybe 6?) people who know her identity, yet the writers don't seem to find anything wrong with that.

@@heyimjaytee these characters don't even need to be Akumatized they could just get mind controlled and lead the villains to ladybug similar to what happened in revelation when a mind controlled alya went straight to Marinette's house to catch ladybug. Granted she didn't lead the villain to ladybug, alya knowing Mari's identity was still a threat.
Also, half of these characters (luka,kagami and felix) barely do anything with the knowledge they possess so what's the point of them knowing from a writing point of view?
