A think the situation with the departed realm is more complicated probably. I don’t think the writers would want people to just be able to walk in and out of the literal afterlife of ninjago. Maybe there is some magic from the FSM that creates an impenetrable force field.

Garmadon better come back. Not sure about Lloyd's Oni power, I think he still wants to suppress that destructive side and focus on his dragon side (how have they still not mentioned in Dragons Rising that Lloyd's 1/4 dragon). Not sure who Lloyd would get together with, Lloyd x Akita never really felt right to me, and we all know how the fans feel about Lloyd x Harumi.

Hopefully they can find some way to please the Crystalized Harumi haters by showing her work towards full redemption after Crystalized, finally quell the mockery of "It's okay, she's with us". I still don't know how so many people misunderstood that line, the other ninja thought she was still an enemy after the Overlord was defeated so Lloyd was just telling them she was on their side now, not forgiving her for all her past actions.
Nadakhans return has been teased for seasons now and nothing has come of it and it’s slowly driving me insane. Also I think Misako is a character that could really use more development. She left Lloyd at an evil boarding school, but we’re never given any context to anything. Is it possible she was rushing and she thought it was a boarding school to rehabilitate bad boys? That’s what I would assume considering the whole reason she left to research the prophecy was to stop Lloyd from having to fight his dad so it’s just really weird. I feel like the show really under utilizes her
For real on the Nadakhan teases, the Teapot of Tyrahn appeared in 4/5 seasons of the 11-minute era (SotFS, Prime Empire, Seabound, Crystalized), and was mentioned in the only one it didn't appear (MotM), and appeared in one of the Reimagined shorts, where Clutch straight up made a wish and orange smoke came out. I could see Misako maybe thinking Darkley's Boarding School for Bad Boys was a school to fix the behavior of "bad boys", apparently Lloyd did want to follow in Garmadon's evil footstep from a young age. Still would've been more sensible to leave him with Wu who could teach him to defend himself (even though story-wise that wouldn't work) or at least someplace she could be completely sure is normal, like just a normal school, where if he acted bad, he'd probably get normal punishment and come to learn right from wrong.

I think Borg has been implied to be around during the events of Dragons Rising (something about him making something in the first episode or two or S1), so hopefully he's reintroduced soon. Though I get the feeling he'll likely be introduced with Pixal's return. A bit unrelated but I also believe Wu's actions in S7 are related to the Merge in some way given what we know from Part 2. Bringing back the Time Twins with this could be fun, as I personally think they were handled poorly in S7.

Take any leaks with a grain of salt, especially if it's for stuff people really want, there were "leaks" that Garmadon was gonna show up in Dragons Rising Season 2 which obviously turned out false. Apparently they thought he was in the Dragon Stone Shrine set, must've confused Ras's S2P1 outfit for Garmadon, especially if the pics were blurry.
I really wouldn’t call the overlord the final boss of Ninjago. He’s only been in 3 out of 17 seasons of the show and every season he’s not in he’s not mentioned at all and notice how every season the overlord is in has a rocky reputation. Legacy of the green ninja is known as the “filler season”, rebooted is controversial and crystallized is the most hated season in the entire show and for pretty good reason so I doubt they’re gonna be bringing him back anytime soon
I mean, it's good to not overuse the guy they want to be the ULTIMATE EVIL (TM), I blame Rebooted for singlehandedly turning the Overlord into a joke by immediately bringing him back and having Zane somehow beat him, Zane's sacrifice was epic and emotional but ultimately kinda stupid because there's no way he would've actually beat the Overlord there. Even 8 years later with Crystalized, people kept complaining "oh they brought the Overlord back AGAIN" when it had only been done once before, but Rebooted turned him into that much of a laughingstock. Crystalized honestly did wonders for the Overlord, it made him actually threatening again after the season where Pythor literally carried him around in his stomach and barfed him out to talk to him. And they really cemented him as the overarching villain by making him be the one who corrupted the Great Devourer (which actually sorta had prior hints, one of the old now-non-canon comics said a darkness corrupted the snake that became the Devourer, and the Devourer's venom reawakened the Overlord's Stone Army). I hope the writers take notes on what they did well with the Overlord in Crystalized, so if they bring him back again, he can REALLY live up to his status at the ultimate evil.

He really is just your stereotypical dark embodiment of evil type villain with nothing more to him which is fine, Those types of villains can work but making them interesting can be a challenge. Ninjago has had so many interesting and complex villains over the years so for the new villains to just be the overlord again is kind of annoying. Like how many times can they do the overlord before people never wanna see him again? If they keep bringing him back eventually everyone’s just gonna get sick of him. You can only do the same thing so many times before people start to get sick of it. People are already sick of the overlord considering how nobody was asking for him to return, but he came back in crystallized anyway. Also doesn’t help that crystallizes reputation is in the gutter. I feel like they either need to bring the overlord back one more time and find a way to finally defeat him for good or Just not bring him back again at all because it’s just gonna get really stale

That snail guy had the elemental power of plants and it worked simiral to the nature power, so I think they just renamed it from nature to plants.
