Or it's because Ethan was some random dude that's why he didn't waste his time on Ethan, Lucas wasn't in the Evelyn hivemind at all. Ethan might've escaped the house with Mia but whatever, it's just a testing subject gone he's not out here to kill him, he's out here to save Mia, we can get others. But for Chris, they're out for him, it's a question of him not dying now.

It's my opinion that in video games there should be the option to mute the bad guy and just kill him during his monologue or other bullshit they do. I think it was cod infinite warfare that you can shut what's-his-name up (Salem?) By stabbing his throat with the knife and that was one of the best moments I've had in a cod campaign.
One of my favorite things about this whole series is when Mark unintentionally heals himself while walking about.

I still find it interesting how the Bakers were just unfortunately dragged into this whole mess, though Lucas seemed to have been a big part of the experimentation with the mycelium. Or at least he was secretly doing some stuff.

Lucas started the experiments and stuff after all of that happened
My small theory (small because all the rest is already explained) is that Lucas wanted to expand on his own, even if it meant sacrificing his family and his own mental humanity, and physical since he still had the mold in him. Capcom pretty much gave him the role of mad scientist, like a level above Wesker in relation to his personality and active role but several levels below Wesker combat-wise since we only directly fight Lucas in Not a Hero. And he only lasts like 3 - 5 minutes or so, then the mold takes over and he goes full monster.

Man lixian is a lot more clever and he likes to let people think he is, he put the episode number in the thumbnail because he knew the title was so long that people watching the in the future would have a hard time spotting the episode number because chances are they scroll below the video to find the next episode. So he thought about future viewers knowing that they would scroll below the video to find the next episode instead of jumping back to the playlist, that man deserves a RUclips plaque for being such an amazing editor.
