Just to note for my A7RV, after the initial installation of the "libusb-win32 (v1.2.7.3)" to the 7RM5, I then had to install the driver "libusb-win32 (v1.2.7.3)" for device "Sony USB Device" with zadig 2.8. Before the that it would show an error. But afterwards the checkbox popped up and all was good!

Kendid presents an excellent guide to unlock the Sony DSC-RX10M4 (although his camera was the ZV-E1). Kendid speaks fast so I needed to frequently pause and review previous instructions. I needed to try and decipher the mass storage and smartphone Japanese characters to turn on the mass storage and turn off the smartphone. My camera did not have the same menu sequence of characters as Kendid. Note that with the DSC-RX10M4, I needed to have the USB disconnected from the camera. Once I completed the mass storage turn on and smartphone turn off, I connected the miniUSB cable. Make sure that you chose the RSC-RX10M4 from the top Zadig box before loading the LibUSB drivers. I had a problem with Zadig saying that LibUSB driver could not connect and I realized that the camera had timed out and turned off the power. Once I realized that this was happening, the process proceeded smoothly. Many thanks Kendrid for helping me sort this out!

@@kendidshoots I figured out the issue. After my windows machine recognized the camera as a "Sony USB Device" in zadig i had to do the replace driver process for that as well, then after continue the Tweak as normal.

Has anyone already tried the ILCE7M4B? Unfortunately, the pop-up window shown in the video does not open after “Start tweaking (service mode)” 😣 After a few mor retries I am getting following error in the log: "Sony DSC is a camera in mass storage mode Switching to service mode Waiting for camera to switch... Operation timed out. Please run this command again when your camera has connected." As soon as I press "Start tweaking (service mode)" I can hear that the USB device gets disconnected and connected again and the timeout exception is shown. Any ideas what went wrong?

@@kendidshoots I had enought time to choose Turkish but then whenever i open tha language page, it repoots immidiately. I uninstall the language from the pmca-gui app, now there is no language page and it is Turkish :) If there is a fix later i will change it to all languages again. Please share when you have it thanks.
@@kendidshoots I heard that it might be because pmca or these versions of cameras lack Chinese fonts. I tried it on the A6100 and A6400. Once it approaches Chinese or the language options near Chinese, the camera will automatically restart. I even tried to switch to Chinese one by one, but the camera got stuck in an infinite restart state, which scared me. Fortunately, this state can be solved by spinning the wheel frantically to switch to other language options.I hope one day a hero can solve the problem of Chinese language option

Worked it out for everyone with the same issue. Works on a Chinese ZV-E10ii. Once you try to run the tweaks the first time, you will be told the libUSB drivers aren't installed. Go back to Zadig and look for the SonyUSB device. Install the drivers on that too. Once you do, the tweaks will be visible and work. You may get an error message about backups, but if you restart the cameras, all 35 languages are available. Thank you!

I wasn’t aware of this issue, so when I was testing different languages, I noticed that behavior. 😅
To help out, I did it for A6700 just recently - just follow the instructions and download the right applications, you will be fine.
Worked on FX30, unlocked all languages from japanese but can't switch NTSC/PAL.

I think first I installed wrong driver, maybe It causes bug. Even if I reinstall the libusb, device cant enter service mode I think. Can I reset the system ?

Hey there, it seems like some people were able to unlock it upgrading a few times. I did multiple upgrades by mistake and I was able to see PAL/NTSC
I have the ZV-E10 in Mass Storage Mode.
Run Zadig 2.8, select "ZV-E10" and "libusb-win32 (v1.2.7.3)", then press "Replace Driver" button and after 3 seconds Zadig is closing with no errors or something.
Any suggestions?

Hi i successfully unlock english language now i want to update my firmware but it seems i cannot update my sony zv e10 is libusb the reason? in my computer sony zv e10 is connected as libusb and when i try to update it the software cannot detect my camera
@mzgamerTV hey there congrats on unlocking. Did you follow the full steps for upgrade ? It seems like they wil ask you to manually download Sony camera driver, which should reset it. Can you try?

Find your camera, it shows service shell mode, so it’s officially supported. I have cameras not listed on that list worked as well like zve1, a7cii, and even a7IV.

This doesn't seem to work on my Chinese ZV-E10ii. I had no idea that languages would be locked. I assumed English would be available. What a pain. I can use the Zadig to change the drivers, but the second application doesn't work.

No idea what the problem is. Is this only possible with older cameras or those from Japan?
Worked it out for everyone with the same issue. Works on a Chinese ZV-E10ii. Once you try to run the tweaks the first time, you will be told the libUSB drivers aren't installed. Go back to Zadig and look for the SonyUSB device. Install the drivers on that too. Once you do, the tweaks will be visible and work. You may get an error message about backups, but if you restart the cameras, all 35 languages are available. Thank you!
