- Trapping another group of wild hogs. Rough estimate we’ve caught around 65 hogs in 2 months off this one spot. Still trying to get the Houdini hog caught. He’s coming around so stay tuned to that.

Great hog report, I can’t believe how many little ones you got. Almost as hard to get rid of them as it is to catch them 😳 Jeff what’s the cost approximately for the bait. And I’m thinking it’s definitely worth it to the damage they do to the land. We got to get you a couple more office props, like a old adding machine and maybe one of those old accounting visors when your reading the report 😂 Great round up, keep them coming 👍🇺🇸
We probably spend about $15.00 every time we bait. Use a bag of corn and some kind of attractor.

I think that processing them into dog food is a good option for them...Hopefully the hog - buyer will pay sufficient doll's to make them pay at least for the trap,corn,fuel, transport and man hours expanded in order to dispose of them properly...Good job.👍👍👍

I guess it is a silly question,,, but could u make the trailer into a trap? watching the hogs in your trap, they seem to love to stay close together,, so maybe the smaller space in the trailer might not be a problem to pack the varmints in.
I’m sure you could but we use the trailer to haul cattle also. We wouldn’t want to commit it to just being a trap.
How much is a bag of corn? That seems like a lot of corn for 3 hogs and some piglets

I suppose you guys have heard of the new requirements Ca has for selling pork in their state. They are to be raised according to their standards so they aren't confined. I guess feral hogs qualify. Catch and take to a processor who will have a time dedicated to doing hogs for pork meat sale in CA. Could be a boom for you guys.

Where are you located? What kind of trapping mechanism are you using? Where are you taking your catch for processing?
We are in North Texas. One of the traps is a goinfencing trap and the other is a Jager pro hog trap. The state of Texas has a website with a list of buyers that we use.

@@brucejeralds5493 If you are in Florida, all you need to do is make some connections with the Cubans living in your state. There is nobody who can do up roast pig like the Cubans. Every Cuban neighborhood has some guy who specializes in roasting whole pigs. Oh....and make sure part of the deal is that you get to join them for dinner. LOL

Man guys down here where i live in southeast texas. Theres some rich folk neighborhoods that are over run with hogs. Might be a opportunity to make some money to get rid of the hogs and still go back to your neck of the woods and get paid for the hogs you catch. Just saying guys
