Freddie would be proud. He actually encouraged people to cover his songs and even approved of parodies. These kids nailed yet another classic song while most usually fail at such an attempt. The lead singer sings her heart and soul out here.

I'm not quite sure what to say, I was blown away on so many levels. I guess the only right thing to say is, that was tremendous!!! That is an unbelievably hard song to get right, but you all did it. All the vocals were spot on. The harmonies that sound so easy when someone else is doing them, are infinitely harder when it is you that has to carry off the 3rd and 4th harmonies in live time. Queen did it using massive amounts of layering and never attempted it live. The guitar players were all outstanding and I especially enjoyed the Lefty in the bunch. I loved hearing the contrasts between all your guitars in sound and style. The bass player, was awesome!!! She added so much in terms of style and sound, I was blown away. Keyboard guy excellent, the melody line hung on you and you nailed it spot on. Drums were awesome, you played and kept everyone going in the same direction, all while doing the little things that flavored your style, without drawing attention to yourself. Finally, the lead singer, I felt every bit of your performance. Your voice was beautiful and full of conviction, you made this your version. Tough to do with an iconic song like this where the temptation to sound like Freddie is always trying to assert itself. I will be making trips back to this version in the future 'cause it restores my faith in the fact that this generation is giving music it's due. Thank you all of you!!!

Hell, I loved it -- let the nitpickers go back to picking nits after commenting that *high school folks* aren't pre-zactly and ex-cisely like Queen, in studio.

I didn't have high expectations for this cover (not many covers of this great song are good), but it was, and please believe me when I say I use this word sparingly, awesome. Jolly well done!

This is one of the best and cleanest vocals I think they have had out of all the School's.

Damn, I think I'm in love! What a talented group of young musicians. They've nailed a classic rock song, paying immense respect to Freddy and to Queen but making it their own. In the words of Oliver from Oliver Twist: Please, Sir, I want some more.

I would imagine most Queen songs would be difficult to cover because of Freddie's vocal style. Glad this girl didn't even try to replicate Freddie and put her own spin on it. Great job, kids. Keep it up.

BR is an incredibly hard song to perform, that's why Freddie and Queen were unreplaceable, so I didn't have high expectations but It was pretty good. A few timing issues in some parts but pretty good. Defiantly need some more grit and passion but pretty good for what it was.

I keep coming back to this performance. The singer has great range, the guitarists are spot-on, the drummer and bassist never miss a lick and the background singers nail it. The recording engineer is to be given kudos for capturing the sound and mixing it perfectly. The one thing that would be cool would be to have isolated cameras for the singer and the rest. I've seen a video by the Corrs where that was done. It's cool getting to watch everyone contributing their part to make a great recording.
