What a great voice
I have listened to this probably 30 times and the strength, clarity, the honesty, and range of this young lady is crazy .

Lead singer is just beyond awesome, but kudos to the whole band. What a great performance.
I wish these young singers would OPEN up their mouths and stop clenching their jaws when they sing!!! They all do it!!! It takes away from the song and it stifles how much better they could sing.
Love them all. Love the lead especially. Super performance. Tight, clean, note perfect. I don't remember being touched as deeply when I first heard Gladys Knight sing the song, but that was many years ago. Maybe I'm just a sentimental old man now, more ready than I used to be to wear my heart on my sleeve for all the broken hearts in the world, but believe me when I say, young Ms Eleanor Bangle made my eyes brim with tears.
The 4 string is carrying this song like a man. Hats off Mr. Bass Man. The lead singer sounds like a country singer doing an R&B song and she did it perfectly. She stayed straight, didn't try to copy the original just did her thing, no BS growls just singing. A true blue old school country girl singer, hard to find nowadays. California Dreaming and this, top two.

@@billywilson303 She’s a young contralto and it’s difficult to find the right material and teacher for this voice type. I think she’s doing absolutely amazing for her age. I’m an older contralto and I still have a difficult time trying to transition octaves while keeping my tone consistent.
Eleanor Bangle is absolutely stunning and her voice is absolutely amazing. Please use her more often and please show if she has a list songs so that we can enjoy them.❤😊
I agree but this is her only lead. I can't figure out why. She's got an incredible blues voice. She could easily do gospel and soul music. The singer is a star. I can't praise her enough.

This is the absolute BEST cover version of any song by ANYONE. Eleanor is glorious and the band and backing vocalists are World Class. I cannot get over how truly awesome this performance is.

Probably the best School of Rock song there is. She is the real deal. The whole band is. I listening to hear is the bass has the motown chops and he does.
The singers are amazing, this version is incredible. The singer lead is from another planet. She makes this version the best song of School of Rock.
I'm in disbelief that no one in the music industry has chased this lead singer down yet...that vocal was something...moving and unique. From her nailing the first lyric of "L.A.", my ear brows went straight up...
Most of these kids will never make it in the music industry, while some very average performers make millions. I can't work it out.

Eleanor has a voice that reminds me so much of a young lady that was from Port Arthur TX. We all know who that is. Eleanor sings with so much passion and makes this very difficult song look so easy. It's clear to me that this young lady can punch her own ticket and do what ever she wishes. Keep striving and you'll one day enjoy the fruits of your labor.
Unbelievable. I'm an old time Motown fan... and have worshiped Glays for so long. She should be so proud of this cover. What a performance... as such a tribute to one of the greatest American songs of our time.

We’ll see how bright. I thinks it’s even harder to make the big time today. There’s A LOT artists out there and it’s more complicated now - it isn’t about cutting a song with a B Side and getting it played at the radio stations everyone listens to. Those days are gone.

I've watched this incredible video maybe 30 times and with all due respect to Gladys Knight, there is no doubt it's as good, maybe even better in its own way, than the original. And that is truly saying something.

Hey, girl, you go, you sing that on America's Got Talent, and you should be offered contracts to record. One of my favorite performances ever, and I'm 74. I love music, I sing, play guitar, have some songs on youtube. You got it going, best cover on youtube IMO and the song choice lyrics permit you to show your talent, timing, voice, rhythm.....
I never thought a group could make this song BETTER than the Original, but they DID. I think I'll bookmark this one.

Fifty years ago I saw Gladys Knight sit on a stool and sing this song and I fell in love. It has been an all time favorite that I still listen to alot. I've heard many others do this song and a couple of them were OKish. When I heard this version though I fell in love again. I couldn't find this young ladys name so I could find more from her. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves and we get the joy of hearing her more.

I've watched many of these School of Rock videos and they have all been well done technically. The one thing I have felt that is lacking in the main vocalists aren't singing like they mean it. It often comes across as if they don't understand the song or don't attack it with their talent. They sing it fine but they just are "feeling it." This lass tho? She gets its. So well done, Moving with feeling. If you can move this old woman's heart you've nailed it. Thank you!

I have watched this ten times. She is amazing. I hope she has a bright musical future but the two on backing vocals are killing it as well. Those backing vocals are statements, and they are driving it home. I love watching young musicians like this give these classics such respect.

I like the fact that many quite young aspiring musicians and artists explore other areas, different approaches, sounds, grooves, while leaving their personal touch on various renditions of classic pop or rock pieces. It's refreshing, inspiring and very exciting. Keep it up young friends, you're doing good, and you're making your parents proud.

Eleanor resembles Florence Pugh and sings with the bluesy passion of Janis Joplin. I've lost track of how many times I've watched this. I love how she starts the song and how she brings it down at 1:02. This young lady has a bright future if music is what she wants to do.
