Totally! I love the School of Rock videos and the music is SPOT ON!!! Just wish more of them (in other videos, not merely this one) looked like they were having fun. The keyboard girl is awesome, I agree! All super talented performers. A+
That's one thing I've noticed on these videos, even the most skilled musician still can either look bored or hamming it up. I imagine stage presence is something extremely difficult to teach. I do feel like the main singer is definitely in the moment here.

People can find hate in everything. They have a sad life. What’s worse is they want recognition for their self misery and they get it by posting negative comments and stay up all night stuffing their faces with ice cream waiting for a thumbs up. This group was great, sounded great and obviously lovin what they do 👍

Did this with a bar band I was in when it first came out. One of the most difficult songs I’ve ever done. I did the vocal in record key and it stays HIGH all throughout. Crowds loved it but I got to dreading it more and more. We made it sound pretty true with a 4 piece outfit, had a keyboard player that got the synth parts down back when everything that came out had a DX7 in it. I also did the guitar solo which was not exactly the highlight of the song but passable I guess. Tapping was never my strong suit.
(noticed the guitar player isn’t tapping, pretty sure I did tho)

Everyone was spot on, but two things elevated this from a good to a great performance: 1) Eliza absolutely CRUSHED those vocals; 2) Erin's enthusiasm behind that keyboard. I would love to see more from this ensemble. 🤘😎🤘

I've got to add ...how incredibly tight and spot on the players are. Note for note. Dead on. And the richness in this production just makes the excellence come alive. In a way even the original doesn't possess, I'm my humble opinion. The keys and guitars (3 guitars really add depth to the sound!) are excellent, and the rhythm section drives this song with a vengeance. Add the awesome vocals, and it all adds up to an incredible performance.

I watch this over and over with the same thrill as the first time, and love how each performer is so confident and free of self-consciousness.
They are all great but the girl playing keyboards has gusto and radiates pure joy and love for Rock!

The young lady singing lead is really, REALLY good. I know this song by heart, having heard it about 10,000 times on the radio and having owned the album for years, and she nailed it.

And that's exactly what she gave the song - more than Joey Tempest of Europe, even. If I was stuck on an island and had to choose which version I could have, I would choose this one over the original. And this singer is a big part of the reason why.

I can't imagine the number of 'man/woman' hours of work that went into this. Don't forget the parents, teachers, sound engineers/mixers, etc., etc..
This is such an amazing song...and this is probably the best version of it I have ever heard. The performers elevated it beyond even the original. The keyboardist and the lead singer especially brought so much energy to the video - truly a pleasure to see such enthusiasm in action!

Drummer, Keyboards, Singers, Guitar Players, and last but not least (maybe the best of all), Bass Player.. God they are good... I wish them all a Great musical journey.. I want to hear their name as the next generation of ROCKSTARS... Keep it up guys... I would pay for a VIP ticket to see you perform...
This song is everything that its critics claim; it's over the top, steroidal, but laddie, it ROCKS, and these kids burn the house down playing it. I hope some of them stayed in music, real music like this, not autotuned Vegemite.
