I would love more sit down restaurants. The problem is covid changed everything in the restaurant space and you have to be REALLY good to make it if you don't have a drive thru - or be a big brand. We aren't quite on the big brands radar yet but as we grow, we should for sure. A couple brand new ones though have opened at black desert you should try. The 20th Hole Sports Bar, Latitude, and Basalt Steakhouse.
A 2nd Costco is needed badly, the bored wife’s would go nuts for a Hobby Lobby, a freeway exit added to E700s by Harmons to help the insane traffic backup happening daily at River/Blvrd. The development I’m most sad about is the housing one going up out past Leeds towards the ‘Babylon’ area, that will surely change that entire area forever.
1) Trader Joes 2) Aldi 3) Smart N Final 4) Home Goods (a dedicated store not a small foot print inside of TJ Max) 5) In N Out off of Washington Parkway
Thank you for keeping us updated throughout the year. Can't wait to see what is in store for next year. If there is 1 place I wish to come here to St. George it is Raising Canes. Crispy chicken, toasted bread and that dipping sauce, YUM!
1.) Not Trader Joes. While this is a great little specialty market I think Washington County already has some great markets owned by locals, Harmons, Lins and Digby's are three, support local. Keep TJ's special by shopping there when you are in a location that has them. 2.) More non chain restaurants that provide great food, Angelica's is excellent, Xeteva fills a special niche, George's does great burgers, Painted Pony is a nice night out. Springdale has some great restaurants but it's an hour away. 3.) Another Harmons on the east side of the county. 4.) No more big box stores, Sam's Club, Home Goods, etc. 5.) Your mini golf venue looked awesome! I enjoy seeing a new What's Happening. Keep up the good work.
My two top picks would be CAVA for Mediterranean (they are rapidly spreading around the country but not yet in Utah or Nevada) and P. F. Chang's for Chinese.
I thought there was a Trader Joe's in the St. George area! It's ALL OVER the West! It's hard to believe that there isn't one over there. If it's not there, STG HAS TO HAVE ONE. ❤
I don’t think there’d be enough demand for it, but my husband and I have said the only thing that would make this place more perfect is a Persian restaurant.
Publix! In all seriousness - it would be amazing to see some established mid to large companies set up a home office to help with the mid-range job availability. Something in the Insurance or finance industries where employees don’t necessarily need the technical background to apply. Anything to help the middle class keep a foothold in the ever-growing resort town we love. Great content! Thanks for keeping us informed!
We tried Parlor doughnuts in Florida two years ago, it was AMAZING. We contacted them about opening one here and they said that there was already someone trying to open up a franchise location here. It would be amazing!
How about something else besides So Cal things (besides Trader Joe’s)? Ali we’re finally getting a Sprouts, but what about a Whole Foods and how come there is no Sam’s club? Costco is OK, but overrun…love your stuff…keep on RUclips-in!!
KD Donuts , not to be confused with DK donut chain. It was my favorite donut shop in all of SoCal. Nothing fancy, just the best tasting donuts and an almond bearclaw to die for.
Trader Joe's, Settebellos Pizzeria, and an actual, legitimate sushi place (like I Love Sushi or Momo's Sushi from Vegas)...Also, maybe a neat little speakeasy in the downtown 🙌🤞
We need a Walmart or Sam's Club on Sunset - it would help the traffic problems at Green Springs and Costco more than the planned road winding around in the desert to make the area even more crowded. The mall needs an on/off ramp like any normal mall and would divert traffic out to the fields. Hurricane needs a Carls Jr and a big tree shaded park with water features along the highway where people could walk, play, gather, or picnic with family. We need more affordable senior housing so we can downsize and younger people can have the bigger houses for their families. The Hurricane Walmart road desperately needs repairs and widening in places from the SR9 corner down to where it turns into 600 North.
I would like to see a branch building for Utah Community Credit Union from Northern Utah come to the St. George area. It would make using them more efficient. My wife and I moved down to St. George from Springville in 2011, and it would be nice to see a branch building for UCCU be built here.
IMAX theater, Trader Joe’s isn’t a major want but I do like it, an actual good Brazilian BBQ spot, I’m down for Side Car donuts. They are pretty good, I’d really like a great NON wood fire pizza spot. That would probably be my biggest want. Not a chain but a delicious family owned/recipe Pizza spot.
Wish that Famous Dave's and Smashburger would come back. Would also love to see Astro Burger move down here, but it's family owned and he said he's not moving.
How about some gas stations in Washington fields area… we have 1… whammers which is great. But it’s crazy to me the amount of people that live in the fields and no convenience stores close by.
There's at least one more coming on Washington Fields Rd and expect at least a few others around the area. I agree more convenience stores, grocery, restaurants, etc are needed in the fields. Luckily it's on it's way
#1 for 2025 - Less huge housing developments with people stacked on top of each other with minimal roads in & out of the area. Less rushing to go vertical and more thinking of the bigger picture. We don’t need or want to be the next Vegas.
Less rushing to go vertical?? Earth to you, dude...we have nearly 200k in the metro area and our tallest buildings are just FIVE stories! Grand Junction (metro pop: 155k) has at least one building - a bank - at least 12 stories.
@ you do understand the saying “going vertical” means breaking ground and under construction ? Not how many stories a building is or should be based on population. Yes, I want less construction by large developers that are only in it for the profit so they can move onto the next small area and repeat. This area is losing its small town vibe.
Less Californians please. With all these new places, St George has lost its small town charm. Isn’t that why people loved it here. You all ruined a good place😞
ruined? it looked like a trailer park until 30 years ago. if anything it's got better. now the suburban sprawl is horrible but downtown actually looks good now.
What about an unwish list? No more car washes, no more sugar drink places, and no more fast foods. How about some decent sit down restaurants?
As a utahn I can agree. We kind of just have a lot of big chain sit downs. But there are some good ones but not as much as there should be.

Since no one has said it yet, I guess it is up to me, More Breweries!
My family would love a Raisin’ Cane’s!
It’s coming. I inquired about opening a franchise here, they informed me it’s already in the works from another buyer
I have one where I live in Utah although I do know it's not southern Utah but there here in some places at least
Trader Joe's for sure and an Aldi's would also be amazing
Definitely a Trader Joe’s on my list! Also Sam’s Club and a PF Chang’s.
Glad TJ’s was on your list! Happy 2025 to you. Great channel and content!
Thank you for keeping us updated throughout the year. Can't wait to see what is in store for next year.

Also Aldi would be great. That’s what I miss most from living in so cal!!!
Aldi sucks. Winco would be better
@@alanbiancardi2531 Winco is coming soon to Washington. Should be open sometime in 2025.
I would love a Macys and Cheesecake Factory
My two top picks would be CAVA for Mediterranean (they are rapidly spreading around the country but not yet in Utah or Nevada) and P. F. Chang's for Chinese.
fewer fast foods and more sit-down restaurants. BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, PF Chang’s, Old Spaghetti Factory, etc.
My wish list: more land protected as open space, no more sprawling past our current footprint, more transportation options and no more highways
I thought there was a Trader Joe's in the St. George area! It's ALL OVER the West! It's hard to believe that there isn't one over there. If it's not there, STG HAS TO HAVE ONE. ❤
Rosati’s pizza, Sam’s Club and a decent Chinese restaurant would be great. Is that too much to ask for? 😂
BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse from SoCal. Big menu, all good but #1 is a pan pizza to die for. I've been a fan since they opened in the '70s.
@@greatpix As long as it doesn’t bring the SoCal people and lifestyle with it.
Trader Joe's like everyone else, Wahoo's Fish Taco from SoCal and California Fish Grill
Lighted golf course!!
Now we're talkin!
Great list man. Sidecar is a staple. People would be going nuts over this once they have it.
Sidecar Donuts is offering on drive-thru’s up northern Utah. So hoping they make a run at Southern Utah
@ offering? As in franchising? Or they have locations up there?
Tim Hortons! I'm Canadian, couldn't resist 😀
Javiers! Yes please....never tried it.
Yes a Sam's Club. They have been here several times to look. I hope we are one of the 29 new stores they have yet to announce.
I don’t think there’d be enough demand for it, but my husband and I have said the only thing that would make this place more perfect is a Persian restaurant.
Oh yes this would totally work here, people would just need to try it once
Publix!

I know one is already in the works for St. George but I want a Dunkin Donuts closer to Washington Parkway and the 15 freeway.
How about something else besides So Cal things (besides Trader Joe’s)? Ali we’re finally getting a Sprouts, but what about a Whole Foods and how come there is no Sam’s club? Costco is OK, but overrun…love your stuff…keep on RUclips-in!!

Cane's. I just learned Logan, yes, LOGAN has a Raising Cane's and we DON'T
Worth noting: Logan (city) has only about 60k ppl
yes but a metro of 160k. but ye we have 215k

A Nordstrom or Nordstrom rack.
Our number 1 wish

Costco and Winco in Cedar City.
You can always wish but I promise you will not happen for many years. Cedar only has around 40k folks
Sam's club
Noodles & Company
There was a Noodles & Company here many years ago. I do miss it and wish it would come back. ❤
IMAX theater, Trader Joe’s isn’t a major want but I do like it, an actual good Brazilian BBQ spot, I’m down for Side Car donuts. Torchy's Taco's
BJ's yeah... but most of all TJ's!!!!
Please, is Dunkin' Donuts still coming to St. George ?
Yes! ones opening on River Rd! its in one of his previous recent videos!
Any idea what is going on in that ag field next to Star nursery on Dixie Dr? The for sale sign is gone and fill dirt is being brought in.
Not yet i'll see what i can find out
Can we just get something simple like a Raising Cane's?
Top of my wish list is Trader Joe's.
Cheesecake Factory
How about some gas stations in Washington fields area… we have 1… whammers which is great. But it’s crazy to me the amount of people that live in the fields and no convenience stores close by.

we need taller buildings so the fields, hikes, trails, and untouched desert don't get plowed through
Juam Pollo
King Taco
Phillies Best
Wahoos Fish Taco
Sol Agave
Umami Sushi
A bunch of low paying restaurant jobs. How about some industry and corporations that provide careers to people.
There's a lot of that happening. These are byproducts of that
Please no more fast food

100% agree with you.

Born and raised and just keeps getting better and better imo
