    Well I've been riding my wheel for almost everyday here in Eugene oregon. And skate shoes are usually too bulky. Depending on weather and terrain of coarse, but converse chuck all stars are the all around perfect shoe for floating most terrain. Although my favorite shoe for the comfort and control would have to be my vibram vtrain 2.0s. Amazing feel and float. Just me...

    That was a fun video to watch and I don’t even own a one wheel. The thumbnail picture was great! I also enjoyed the closing of the video with the music. Could have been an ad for one wheel and Skydio. Keep up the good work and always look forward to watching your videos.

      Thanks Ken! I appreciate the feedback....glad you enjoyed the video. Yeah, I wasn't quite sure about the background music but it seemed to all come together. Now, if I could just get OneWheel or Skydio to sponsor my videos....LOL

    Nike Free Run Flyknit hands down. I’ve tried converse, et al and they’re uncomfortable and don’t apply enough pressure to the sensors.

    I had a nosedive in my knit running shoes at speed, downhill, and smashed my left big toe so bad the nail fell off. Since then I've ridden with skate shoes/timberlands/basketball shoes to prevent a repeat

    Great video, Ron! Production, information and music, you nailed it!
    Thanks for the advice about shoes.
    I left a pair of Vans at my Mom's house in Colorado because I used them to walk down to the lake to go Kayaking (kayak was on a tow-behind) and they weren't the right shoes for walking a mile or getting into the water.
    I know what I'll be using them for when I re-visit later this year.
    I order a pair of DC Anvil skate shoes a few days ago and should be getting them on Tuesday.
    One ride, so far, gonna take more practice before I can ride it to the office but, heck, it's fun!
    Again, great vid! :)

      Congrats on the new board! 1 ride at a time.....slow and steady....and just enjoy your rides. Yeah, these are the 1st Vans' I've owned. Not use to the flat bottoms...have always had running shoes with the heals slightly elevated. Just takes a little getting use to....

    Coming from a skater, you can itether choose from thinn bottoms or thick. The thicker the comfier, (if that’s a word) the thinner, the more board feel. I would go with the thinner for trails and off road and thicker for long rides, cruising, carving, and street riding. Also high tops are good for long rides... but then again it’s all just preference!

    • @RGMGFitness
      @RGMGFitness  3 года назад

      Yeah...I think its a preference. The more I ride the more I think I'm still preferring a thicker shoe...I typically like a longer ride. Especially, in the summer.

    Great video. I like the composition for the thumbnail.
    I wonder if there's a correlation between One Wheel owners and drones? One Wheel riding makes for a great filming subject. And being able to edit with selfie and drone footage you can and do make some cool videos!
    Any thoughts on Flight Fins? More as a trail riding stabilizer, not a trick accessory?
    Last question, did C&R replace your fender?

    Since I'm mountain biking too I use my 5 10 MTB shoes for the OW also. Pretty comfortable and due to the sticky flat bottom there is a ton of control. I might give a try for Vans though! Where are these trails by the way?

    I bought the same Vans shoes. I used to use our to hiking shoes with great support. Not much support in the Vans. It only took me 2 days to get used to them though.
    I noticed you ride in straight lines. Do you do that to make videoing easier with the action camera? I have a Pint and find it a total bore to ride in straight lines.
    Carving is one of the best things about Onewheels. Is carving on the XR different? Harder? Because of the wider tire?

    • @RGMGFitness
      @RGMGFitness  4 года назад +3

      Hi...yeah, because I have the self stick in my hand (with GoPro camera)...sometimes my cell phone...and some drone gear when filming...I'm not doing a ton of carving when videoing. Don't want to make you guys dizzy! 😄😄 I haven't ridden the Pint but I would guess it carves/turns more quickly just due to it's size as well. The OneWheel+ XR is a fairly beefy board and you can carve quite nicely on it....I'm just breaking in the new shoes and didn't want to go to crazy while filming.

    There is no way, even a pro, will be able to ride through those roots with onewheel. By the way, have you ever use those five finger shoes??? feels like bare foot with grip and protection. Skateboarding shoes to me are just to thick of padding. . .I like to feel the board, being one with onewheel.

      Yeah, I've seen a lot of guys wear them at the gym. They seem to like them but I'm always worried about dropping something on my foot. :)

    Nice! What's going on with your FPV quads? You flying?

    • @RGMGFitness
      @RGMGFitness  4 года назад

      Not a whole lot lately. Kinda scared to wreck them 'again'. On my list of things 'to do' though. I need more time in the flight SIM still. I still want to get the hang of FPV...just trying to approach a little smarter this time. Thinking about picking up something with a little less power than my existing 5" FPV's. Maybe something like the new Rotor Riot Digiwhoop that just came out. It's a little smaller and can get into some tight spaces and should fly a little easier.

    • @CarbonIcarusFPV
      @CarbonIcarusFPV 4 года назад

      @@RGMGFitness gotcha, yeah nothing can replace sim time. I put 20+ hours in the DRL Sim and went through all the tutorials. I would recommend the iFlight DC3 or H3 HD because they are smaller, but perform well and carry a DJI air unit. You could actually build one, and use the same air unit you already have. Parts are also available quickly on Amazon.
