That all looked fantastic papp. Little tip i learned. When making the bhajis squeeze the onion and spices with your hands for a good few mins then add the flour and repeat a few more times. It squeezes the moisture out the onion which makes the batter. Should barely need to add water then.
I bought the five pack of East at Home curry sauces after seeing your last video on them. So far I had the madras - bulked out a bit with some extra onions ad coriander at the end of cooking - simply superb. Great recommendation! Coming from an Indian like myself :)
ive been buying all these things for last year or two, ive tried all the so called authentic Indian sauces from everywhere online and even with the best never more than about 80% close to the real thing, ive just ordered another 10 pkgs base sauce, 400g sealed pkgs, about half pack 200g and water, then make about 15 curries, into freezer, this is the closest online product ive found that will take to cooked properly to a dish that you will walk away from Indian restaurant in a bag with, 99% in my opinion, East at home also do videos online youtube to show you how to make many different dishes explained really well, with the cost of living crisis this place amazing
Good to hear that you are well seasoned with this company Julian, and that you think they are great. I will be getting all of my curry supplies from them and am looking forward to using their base sauce.
I recently purchased a box of East at home products and so far have had the Masala and the Tikka and I have to say they are superb ! the Tikka was exceptional and we both loved it ! the Masala was not to my taste as I prefer something hotter but it was very good ! thank you for bringing this company to my attention ! those Bhagi's looked awesome ! have a great evening Mate :-)
Did you just Drool 🤤... then Papp. You're the only person I know of who Scissors 'snip snip' their chicken. Now I get their slogan East at Home. No need to go out for or order in a curry, just spend a little time with their products and you're culinary desires are met. I've never made onion bhaji before, but now I want to after that demonstration and your finished product approval O Yeahh! The tikka looks superb with the little peaks of char, so perfectly cooked. Well worth the preparation and marination times. Deliciosa! I can see you are overwhelmed by this brand's products. Great stuff Papp. Cheers 👍🤤😀
I drool and a half over their stuff mate. The tikka was indeed superb, and their instruction of brushing it with oil during cooking certainly worked :D
Bhaji brilliance. Terrific Tikka. Just tried the Madras, and whereas it doesn't smack you with spice heat, the subtle flavour is wonderful. I've tried two sauces now, and felt no queasiness or afterburn at all. Fresh ingredients you see. I think I will try the madras mix with the base gravy next. These shows of yours, Paps, are becoming compulsive viewing. Great cooking skills. Many thanks.
Two of my favourite things to eat. Absolutely drooling here 🤤You cooked them perfectly Pappa ⭐👏I would eat that chicken tikka in a chapati or naan with some thinly shredded iceberg lettuce, thinly sliced red onion, cucumber and some raita 😋Great stuff Pappa 👍
Oh man I want to make now. I need to start looking for these packets of tikka spice mixes and stuff. Nice crunch and seemed so tasty and that chicken !! 🤤 drooling
Is great to see that there is a company which offers products that replicate takeaway Indian dishes to a high standard. With the current economical climate they have an opportunity to make it big because not many people want the hassle of cooking it all from scratch Hopefully you will have raised their profile and they could maybe look at gifting some other foodie types on here? Good luck👍🏻
Honestly Kev up to now every product has been restaurant quality, and I do hope that other foodies get some, this stuff needs exposing as they need to keep trading!
You can never replicate the restaurant experience, but this Company comes close. Personally, I find their sauces very healthy, with incredibly subtle flavours. Cinema v DVD? Yes! I owe it all to Paps for showing me/us the light.
Oh wow judging by your reaction i definitely want to give East to Home a try now... Also side note i mentioned peperami have released their own jerky totally loved it will definitely buy again
They are an amazing company mate. I'd definitely try this tikka, also their madras tastes wonderful, not too hot but the flavour is there, also the masala sauce is great, a bit sweet and so flavourful. As for the jerk, I had a go a while back when I was a little bit more weighty! Feel free to take a look.. ruclips.net/video/cNR-p7cv_uM/видео.html
Damn - I think that was a triple foodgasm for those onion bhaji ! Clearly deep oil frying is best, but I might try this with spray oil and the air fryer ! / Damn more foodgasm with the chicken tikka - impressive stamina ! / Seriously - both products clearly help you cook real authentic food at home but minimise the faff of having to process the spice side of things from scratch. Will certainly be buying this. Mark.
I'm pretty sure I know this onion bhaji recipe and, for the price they are selling the mix for, you couldn't make them for that at home (unless you wanted to make a lot of bhajis over the next few months).
it must be illegal in over 30 counties if they taste so good, i'll see if i have the pockets to buy one of these bundles, but i tend to prefer to make mine homemade, mostly to feel something
Hahaa! I like the use of the word 'pockets' fyr, and homemade curries please me, wish I could feel yours tumbling down my esophagus, mail order perhaps! :D
Just found your content. Absolutely superb. One of the most genuine, likeable and relatable creators ive found in ages. Thank you sir.
^ this!
Anima, how very lovely of you to say, thank you and welcome :)
This looks like another interesting video Mmmmm 😋
Mmmmm is the right word Malcolm!
chicken tikka and onion bhaji are two of the best things to eat from takeaway, and these looked very good fair do's, impressed
These products astound me Adz, that chicken tikka was incredible.
Those bhajis look delicious so does the tikka
Both really good Andrew
Fantastic products and results. That looked so good and I bet you don't want to buy another supermarket sauce mix ever again.
Quite right Uncle, nothing comes anywhere near this stuff!
Topping a restaurant chicken tikka?? So impressive! I'm so glad you found these folks' excellent products Pap! Thanks for this!
Oh me too Rhubarb, personally won't use any other brand from now on :)

There's always a good tip somewhere 👍
Ah now I see, great tip, thanks for that jay, well handy.
Wow both those looked good, especially the tikka and you cooked them to perfection...... you clever boy Papps 😊

Good grief I can almost smell the gorgeous aromas from down here😋!!!!!
Honestly mate, they made my kitchen smell like a curry house, fantastic!
I am loving the bhaji and tikka action. Just needs a naan and salad.
Me and my boy are having the rest for dinner Ms Ms, top scran!

The spice mixes were from East at Home, I'll put a link in the description in a minute. As for the pastes, you can get them in most supermarkets :)
@@Papparoni thanks pappa xxx
Looks very appetising 😊.. did the onions make you cry?
Nah, they couldn't feel anything when being chopped up!

Thank you kindly Patrick. I tried the masala sauce off camera and it was out of this world, all I added was a little splash of lemon at the end.
@@Papparoni yeah, these sauces are like naturally beautiful girls. They need hardly any make up. More fun to come.
Did that box of stuff include the wherewithal to make lamb samosas or a makhani, Pappa?
I can't see samosas or makhani in the box or indeed on their website, something for the future maybe..
Looks lovely pappa xx👍👍👍
Thank you Frances :)

Mate, these products are superb. That tikka is the best out there, sonnaroni had a load in a wrap and couldn't believe his taste buds!
Definitely have more crunch than takeaway bhajis. Because they were smaller. The takeaway omes retain to much oil.
I agree Frankie, I've had them from takeaways the size of a tennis ball.
Curry-gasm.
Now why can't ready meals be like that then?
I've been asking this for 20 years mate.

i'm not sure if delivery companies take food too kindly, and it would probably arrive there cold and splattered all over the box 😅
Just how I love my bhajis, dond to death. I add the little red lentils, soaked for 10 mins, for a bit of substance
